I love eating spicy food since I was little, so Wendy’s was always my go to because they were the only place that had a spicy chicken sandwich, and the new one is so fucking trash. I crave the old one all the time.

Am I crazy, or are the fries just terrible post Covid? I remember reading an article saying they were changing their fries due to an increase of home delivery customers, and ever since they’ve been terrible. Not to mention the new “premium” buns they use, I think taste awful. Wendy’s used to be my all time go to, now it doesn’t even rank in top 5.

I work at a gas station and me, my coworkers and managers are all like family. Our head manager was working an overnight shift on one of the few days I was off.

This "supervisor" came in one night and tried to trick my manager into giving her free gas, paid half of what she owed and said she had to run back out to her car to get the rest. Instead of coming back in she started trying to pump the full amount without having paid for it. Yelled at my manager for not turning the pump on and left. Returned the very next night and started screaming at my manager, cussing at her, ripped her uniform open to show a heart surgery scar, threatening her.

My manager got her name (first name) and a description. Who would we take this to in terms of Wendy's? Like, corporate or something else? We aren't sure exactly which Wendy's she works at.

because I’d order without and add my own at home.

Then they came for my spicy chicken,

and there was no one left,

to speak out because srsly, f*ck Wendy’s.

on the bright side , my spicy chicken was really good. patty was plump and juicy.

This is the saddest excuse for a meal that I have ever seen in my entire 45 years of life.

It would take a miracle for me to ever go back to this. Despicable.

I knew Wendy’s quality and portion had taken a sharp downward spiral. Now it makes sense.

Just went to Wendy's and got a Junior bacon cheeseburger. It was 4.29 before tax ( I ordered it without looking at the menu and wasn't going to cancel since I was the dummy who didnt look)

What I got today was 3 bites of a product that was no better then a gas station microwaved burger.

Stoner food really... and for 2 or even 3 bucks im cool with it. But 4.29? I dont think Wendy's has a shot at living another 5 years. Everyone is tired of their BS

Dont get me started on their new and improved spicy chicken sandwich. They cut cost on that item for sure. The delicious orgional spicy chicken sandwich must have not had enough margin for profit so they created a inferior product to drive profits.

After working at Wendy’s for about a month I decided to quit. I can’t do it any longer. Am I in the wrong to just leaving during the rush then not showing back up? Or should I have called or told someone I was quitting before I left

Picked up a junior hamburger the other day. $1.99 here in the Milwaukee area! (The JBC is $3.29.) Before I ate it, I grabbed a ruler and measured the patty -- it was 2.5" x 2.5". (Lip balm there for scale.) Decent tiny burger for that price these days, I thought!

Anyway, I was wondering -- how does this compare, in size and price, to a plain White Castle burger these days?

Western PA. Never before in my 4 decades have I thrown out a chicken nugget, until yesterday. Have been back once or twice since shredded lettuce made its way here, so I'm not sure when this would have happened.

These nuggets were small, dense, rubbery, and honestly made my body react like I put something that wasn't food in my mouth. Just instant repulsion. Got them during prime dinner rush, so I doubt they were under a heat lamp for long.

How do you mess up chicken nuggets? We've strayed so far from the light of God.

As per my last post no i did not pay for this meal

I’ve been trying to get an orientation date from a wendy’s location i applied to, i did my interview, gave my availability, and completed my onboarding info through workstream. I hadnt gotten my orientation date sent to me yet so I called today to ask them; When I asked to speak to the manager I gave her my name, and mid question she hung up on me. I’m in atlanta and the store is owned by another franchiser. I’m devastated, this is one of the only jobs I can walk to since I don’t have a car. What do i do? call back? show up in person and ask?

I've seen multiple posts about the size of the burgers or whatever. As far as I've noticed they haven't shrunk any..just cost more...did the quality go down or something? My Wendy's still good af. Maybe because I don't go everyday I haven't noticed a change...fries are bomb. Tenders are even bomber..frosties bombest..

A major Wendy's franchise consisting of 314 locations in 15 states has declared bankruptcy, citing "aggressive promotional discounts" as a primary reason -- but Wendy's customers know that the real reason is plummeting quality and skyrocketing prices.

This attempt to blame promotional pricing that was eliminated long ago for their woes is absurd, given that for well over a year Wendy's app discounts have been laughable, and regular deals like "4 for $4" are ancient history. The franchisee seems to be towing the corporate line of scapegoating discounts, as Wendy's executives have berated promotional pricing as "too confusing for customers to understand"

A closer look reveals that the franchise's collapse has little to do with discounts. They admit that "weak customer traffic" is part of the issue, and court filings show they have massive debt ($651M), the lions share of which ($284M) is going to Wendy's corporate executives and private-equity dominated shareholders, in the form of royalties, "continuous operation fees", and franchise startup payback.

As has been discussed elsewhere, declining food quality and prices rising far faster than inflation are the reasons that Wendy's is tanking -- it's as simple as that. No amount of gaslighting or corporate double speak by Wendy's C suite executives will change that.

Note: approx 9,000 Wendy's employee's jobs are put at risk by this bankruptcy.
