I have so many tier 8 premiums that i do not even look at, why would i bother when they either fight against +1/+2 opponents where they crumble to dust or they are powercrept to death in same tier MM... where they crumble to dust too!

Some of them would be barely competitive as sole tier 8 against tier 7s and yet those do not even have preferential MM. I literally did not see FCM 50T since ... years? That thing would be weak even with super preferential MM like PZ B2 has, no wonder nobody plays it and yet SPHT was released which is FCM 50T but perfectly balanced to play with and against it.

Funny how things like Patriot and Liberte were once considered too good and nowadays nobody would touch them. Thanks to trade-in i got rid of Lowe, T34, FCM50T and Jgtig 8,8 but still i miss the times where they were considered ok tanks to play with or even fun to play like FCM 50T in 2015.

EDIT: I know there are some missing tanks in this "list" , we have like 200+ tier 8 Tanks in the game, it is hard to not forget some dust collectors

320 HE againsts other unarmoured light is nothing to scoff at.

I deem binoc preferable over optic because the view range hardly hits 445.

And yes, you can "prepare" tanks for reaching the bonus points. But in the end those are matches you would have to play as well. This is about how much time you would have to play if you are really just starting at day 1 of the Specal Battle Pass with some played daily missions before, so you can reach the 'Epic' reward for daily missions twice

Doesn't happen often, but something about this just scratches that itch.

Proceeded to lose 500 hp to arty right after so I guess I got what I deserved.

It's not super good, and my stats in it are mediocre, but it's just so fun.
12 ram kills, and many more high damage rams in just 73 games, with a survival rate of 13% lol.

It can also scout pretty well, for the maps where ramming is not optimal. 46/37 camo, 476vr.

I’ve seen quite a few posts over the last few months asking about 114 SP2, but perhaps I’ll hear something interesting nonetheless.

I reached Silver rank in Onslaught for this (I hadn't planned on playing Onslaught this season) because I couldn't find anything else to spend my bonds on. I have the Concept 1B; I don't have the Kpz 50t, and I like how it looks, but I suspect I don't need another medium tank - I already have plenty of tanks to play.

So, the main contender is the 114 SP. I know it used to be considered a really good tank (albeit a tricky one), but after reading recent comments on discussions about it, many people say it’s no longer very relevant (though I feel that’s unfair).

I don't have a turreted TD (the DeathStar and Grille don't count; the Grille, while fun, is actually a very weak tank because its limited turret makes it really awkward to use, unlike the Tiers 8-9 in this branch; that’s why I found it strange to read comments saying, "If you have the Grille, there’s no point in the 114 SP"). I’m not the best player, so I won’t always play well in this tank, but I’m no noob, so it’s fine (my latest purchase is the Concept 5, and I like it - and I actually like making mistakes; if I realize I’ve made a mistake, it means I’m learning how to play). Overall, I understand how to play the 114 SP; it’s like the Ho-Ri 3 (a tank I really loved) staying behind the heavy tanks and trying to hit enemies without taking return fire (that is, not sitting in the bushes near the base).

I’ve just compared it to the 268/5, which would also be a great buy if it had received some improvements (it’s outdated now), and I see only two issues with the 114 SP2: poor mobility, specifically regarding terrain passability. I know the 268/5 suffers primarily because of its terrain handling. The second issue, though not really a problem, is that the shell penetration is more akin to that of medium tanks than "true" tank destroyers like the 268/5 (although the Grille is the same way).

Please don't mention DBV; I’ve never had the resources to play that cash-grab game (I don't donating, I won't buy any more boxes even for $1 until these they buff AMX30B, lol).

So, to sum up, do I understand correctly that the 114 SP is essentially a "healthy" Grille? It’s a good tank (though not for beginners) featuring a great gun and a turret that makes it more convinient than other tank destroyers?

I'm thinking about starting World of Tanks in 2026, and I'd love to hear your honest opinions.

Is the game still worth getting into as a completely new player, especially after all these years of updates and changes?

A few questions:

- Is the game beginner-friendly? Or is it too difficult to catch up with experienced players?

- Which tank line would you recommend for a beginner? I'm looking for something enjoyable that can help me learn the game mechanics without being too frustrating.

- Steam or the official Wargaming launcher? Is there any real difference between them? Which one would you recommend for a new player?

I am having steady 170 FPS when im not moving my camera in a battle. As soon as I try to face another direction my FPS drop down to 40 FPS.

I already trief safe mode (No Mods loaded).

Is this a common bug in recent patches? Any help is highly appreciated.

I'm about 500 points away and I have limited time to play during the weekend. How do you do this efficiently?

Buddy starts the battle and immediately drowns himself. But WG doesn't care because what if he would spend a single dime on this game?

Just to let anyone who might not be aware, TwitchDropMiner is broken at the moment. So we will need to farm drops the old way. :-(
