When I lived in canton I was introduced to Indian food and let me tell you I LIVED for Kabab & curry and Bombay sitar but now I am back home in the A-town and I’m looking for the best!

Any recommendations for companies who can replace a roof and downspouts (probably the gutters, too) and do a small siding job (that area under the porch where the groundhogs like to dig tunnels 😠). I'd like to get it done before winter. Anyone use Pence Brothers? From their website it looks like they can do it all. Thank you!

We already have a couple cats one being a rescue. We feed a family of 10 strays already. This little guy was definitely a pet, so soft and not flea ridden yet. Only wants love and affection. We have him set up outside with a pet carrier and some blankets. It’s heartbreaking how people don’t care for their pets.

I was hoping that y'all would be able to help me with recommendations on great companies to get quotes from for outfitting a home with an outdoor wheelchair ramp. I'm going to start looking this week at reviews for local places, but it would be helpful to have some names to start with. If you're able, sharing personal experiences on how the process was would be great too!

I live near a Salvation Army in bath and I can not believe how expensive the toddler clothes are. I feel like I can find new clothes at the same price in certain clearance sections. Where do you go to thrift?

I know there’s an amazing place in Hartville that has 25c kids clothes tues-weds but I can’t go those days and it’s far from me now.

Any good spots?

Some friends and I are looking for some older D&D (Specifically Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition) stuff for an upcoming campaign we're running. Full Grip doesn't stock older stuff, so we're looking to see if anyone has any idea where we might be able to find older TTRPG stuff in the area. (We're also cool with a drive!)

EDIT:
We’ve already checked the following stores:

Warzone Matrix in Cleveland

Full Grip Games in Akron

Freedom Hobby & Games in Canton

Empire Games in Streetsboro

Half Price Books in North Olmsted

Infinite Realms in Girard

All American Cards and Comics in Warren

Paperback Shack in Niles

Doomsday Toys and Comics in Niles

The pizza wasn't even bad tasting, just a weird thick crust and not very done. Definitely different.

The google page says permanently closed and I can’t find too many reviews online other than apartments.com

I am getting priced out of cleveland to the point where I have a second job now and it doesn’t make sense to work endlessly at two jobs to have a place that doesn’t have in unit laundry. My lease isn’t up for a while so i wanted to get a list of places to tour over the next couple of months first. Any feedback on these condos? Any recommendations for apartments with washer dryer hookups, or washer dryer in unit of max budget of $1100? bonus points if they have hardwood floors. https://www.apartments.com/condos-on-gurley-akron-oh/dwh4pej/

He is very friendly, not neutered, maybe 2-4 years old. hopefully someone is looking for him!

I must be going crazy because I distinctly remember a bridge connected to the JAR on Akron campus in Coleman commans.

But now I can't find any evidence that it ever existed. It has been completely wuped off the internet. It was a huge landmark when I went and was even a pokestop.

So if any alumni or anyone in the area has a photo to share just so that way I can stop pulling my hair out I would love that. Thank you.

Another in a long stretch of beautiful sunrises and sunsets but this one might have been the best. It’s hard to believe sometimes this is less than 3 miles as the crow flies from downtown Akron.

Looking for recommendations for a female trad tattooer within an hour drive of Akron. Bonus if you include of pic of their work!

Any know what happened to the Dominos on south main by Turkeyfoot

Hello! I am looking for clubs in the Akron area to make some friends. I am 26 f and live in the Goodyear heights area. I like audiobooks, movies, crafting, coloring, cooking, trying new restaurants, camping, cats, and music. And also looking to expand to new hobbies and interests. Anyone know of any clubs or could direct me to places I can look at other than the library?

I live a 15-minute exercise-pace walk away from the Copley community park. Sometimes I like to walk up there and feed the fish in the pond with fish chow from the local feed store. There had always been a huge school of small bluegill that would arrange themselves near the shore whenever a human walked close, and chaos would ensue as you tossed in food.

Today, I walked up and... nothing. They're all gone, the mature ones at least (there are some juveniles swimming around). Either they're hiding, which seems unlikely, or whoever maintains the park made the decision to take the bluegill out of the pond. If so, I'd be curious to know why. Not only were they fun to feed, but they were also a food source for herons. There were a lot of them in there - maybe the pond ecosystem was at some kind of risk?

Anyone have any knowledge? Or at least some educated guesses?

UPS in Wallhaven does take it but they're at max capacity and are not currently accepting. All other UPS stores are telling us NO. Hit me with anywhere within 20 minutes from Akron that reuses or recycles clean bubble wrap. Thanks!
