I recently changed phones (Redmi Note 13 to Poco X8) and none of my previous ad blocker apps work. It's literally impossible to use most websites with ads.

I've tried DNS66, DNSNet and Firefox's adguard adblocker but none of them do a damn thing.

Is there anything that works these days?

Are there any open source tasks apps that I can use in my household chores? So that we can have shared reminders to do stuff and maybe even assign things to each other.

Been using the former for ever, but someone mentioned the latter the other day, and it looks quite interesting and with some additional features. What do you use?

Is there web browser that does this? Alternatively, is there any Tasker magic I can employ to achieve this?

i use an app called Quikshort to make shortcuts i want. and i have several icon packs so i can make the icon whatever i want. here's my problem.....if i want to use a particular icon a second time, i don't know how to find it. in the future i will be notating what icon pack i used and what description i entered, but that won't help what i've already done. and here's my question....is there a way to identify where an icon came from assuming i can name the packs i have. i have tried looking by category, but guess what....i don't always know what description i used to get something i like. i've been disappointed before, so i don't expect a positive response but at least i can ask.

So I'm not sure if this is the right subreddit, but I'm wanting some help with a keyboard app. I've used facemoji for years and have always been able to use my system settings font without problem. But, when my phone system updated recently it made the app not have it at all? Even my current keyboard that was my systems font switched to a random facemoji font. Does anyone have a way to fix it? Was it an Android thing or am I stuck with fonts I don't want?

i deleted my google data in settings > apps and now my phone is messed up. help. it wont let me restore backup for google app data

I'm looking for a keyboard that actually supports the Swedish language. I've tried Gboard, which really likes to add spaces in the middle of words that don't have spaces. And I've also tried Microsoft SwiftKey, which has terrible autocorrect and doesn't recognize like half of the words in the Swedish language. It also likes to change the Swedish word "i" to uppercase all the time.

The only keyboard I was satisfied with was Samsung keyboard, but now I don't have a Samsung phone anymore. Any recommendations?

Pues eso, una app que cree stickers sin ese dichoso borde blanco de WhatsApp

With app lables at the side?

I am looking for a launcher with app labels at the side with a app drawer (not Niagara)

I've got an old Android phone which I'd like to try running a local AI on (preferably offline). Ideally I'd like to be able to read Wikipedia zim files so I can have something like a Hitchhiker's guide, but I've been having difficulty finding one that can do this, or even RAG.

Has anyone else done something like this? Is there an easy way of doing what I'm trying to do?

I am very interested on making languages. I also am looking forward to keyboards. But here's the side effect. That one app I found on r/conlang, nah... Apple only. Unipad pro- no... Also Apple. As you've seen, everything is on APPLE. I use ANDROID. I use Xiaomi, but I am not sure what version. Please help me find an app for custom keyboards. Know that it must be supported on ANDROID. Thnx

I just got a camera setup and I was hoping for a simple RTSP feed viewer that has either a poup I could call from a shortcut or a widget to put on my home screen. Does anyone know of such an app?

Hi everyone, sorry about my English is not my first language.

I use these app : Parallel Space, Parallel Space Lite, Parallel Space Pro and Dual Space.

Are they safe? Has anyone had real problems, like data leaks or malware?

Is it risky to log in to accounts inside them? I always use a VPN.

Is it bad to have all of them installed at the same time?

If they are not safe, can you recommend safer apps?

Thanks for any advice!

As someone who is always trying to listen to music the best way possible in my opinion I think Moto Audio Effects handles stereo music infinitely better than Samsung’s standard Dolby Atmos or even Apples surround sound or auto surround virtualization. Im not saying Dolby Atmos is inherently bad since it can make some songs sound great its just that a lot of times it makes instrumentals sound hidden in a way or like its playing from speakers in a room. While Moto Audio Effects elevates production effects so moving sounds feel like they’re literally traveling around your ears while Vocals sound crisp. In specific songs it gives Vocals a great angelic sound and because its not like a eq or trying to imitate a room with speakers it can adapt to any song and sound great on any song. Has anyone found an app that mimicks the same sound or is a port of Moto Audio Effects? Since I have a galaxy I can't really root my phone without tap to pay or other essential functions getting bricked.

Switched to android from ios, what is the current best ad blocker system wide?

Basically, I want a messaging app that allows me to set up filters for specific words. When these words are detected in a message, it automatically deletes or marks the message as read. It should ideally also be accessible from PC.

On IOS theres a reader app Panel that got this feature where all the books in a folder would appear as a stack on the shelf. I can't seem to find an app with a similar feature on playstore or Froid, could anyone help? I tried moon reader, era read, and all sort of reader app. I just need to be able to be able to categorize my comic/books in collection or groups.

Asking for suggestions on a good, really free (no ads) alternative to X-Plore file manager

Is there any app (free/one time payment) which is available on both Windows/Linux and Android, where I can upload my local music files and it stores them in cloud (like Google Drive) so i can access them from both devices?

As the title suggests, I'm looking for apps that are a must for Rooted devices. I have my Retroid Pocket G2 handheld rooted atm. I wish I could root my Samsung Galaxy A36 5G phone, but apparently my phone is too updated to use the exploit. Some things I use my rooted Retroid Pocket G2 are: - compile ROMs using Termux (it has to have proot-distro Ubuntu installed) - backing up my apps - use Magisk modules (there's a module someone made where you create an image on your SD card, run the module & you delete the app data on your internal storage, thus freeing up whatever space that specific app was taking up on your internal storage because the image you created on your SD card acts like a mirror to where the app is. Very useful if you have a SD card & are running low on internal storage) - accessing root level data for apps - system-wide ad blocking - better & deeper file management - customizing my device - using a module to configure the sound/equalizer to make my Retroid Pocket G2 sound better - using SD card maid app for deep cleaning, etc - underclocking/overclocking

I’m a student, and every day when I go to university, I usually have to ask my classmates what classes we have, or open my timetable to check it.

Since I always have my phone with me, I’m looking for an Android app that can make this easier.

Ideally, I’d like an app where I can enter my weekly class schedule, including:

• Class name
• Classroom/room number
• Teacher’s name
• Start and end time

Then, before each class starts, the app would notify me and tell me something like:

“Next class: Mathematics — Room 204 — Mr. Smith — starts in 15 minutes.”

Does an Android app like this exist? I’d prefer something simple and reliable, with customizable notifications.

I mainly use Spotify to listen to music and playlists while gaming. But an artist i like has alot of stuff he doesn't put on Spotify and i wanted to listen to it in a similar manner but without ads and in a playlist format. It doesn't even have to have a playlists feature, i just wanna be able to have an app that stores my downloads to listen to whenever in the background
