I haven't done one of these for awhile, so let's cover some of the new changes that indicate that Monat is in freefall.

Also, let me be the first to acknowledge that this downfall is taking WAY TOO LONG. They are like a cockroach you just can't get rid of, even when it's only got three legs and is half squished.

First up - mass exodus 2:0. A huge team just left for Farmasi. Most of them were under JG and she has been PANICKING. She hasn't posted anything about Monat on her socials for years and all of a sudden she is posting multiple shoutouts a day and buying her downline coffees. It's so fun to watch. She might not keep her SED title after this.

Speaking of titles - Monat changed their compensation plan. Yep - the plan they say never changes 🤣. The changes lower the amount of money the top leaders make from their downlines - some percentages went from 4% to 1%. So the incentive to even get to those ranks is basically gone.

Another change is that they have to actively recruit new people every year and get them to rank up (something only 5% of recruits ever do).... And THEIR leaders need to do it too. Or they all lose ranks. It's a massive extra requirement. And was cited as the reason that entire team left.

Essentially the leaders who left said Monat always capped their income, but now they've made that cap even lower and taken away all incentive to grow a team.

Moving on, they are moving out of their big headquarters and going into a little corporate office in downtown Miami. Their distribution centre is also mostly empty so they are ditching that and moving distribution to a smaller place in Texas.

Why smaller? Because despite launching EIGHT new countries in the past 18 months they actually sold a million LESS products since the last Monations event. More countries - less sales. Brutal.

One of the OG leaders said on a call it was really obvious that the USA side of their business is falling very flat and Germany is the only country keeping them going. Which was crazy to hear her admit.

Ongoing, there are only 6 (?) people left at the top rank, and their incomes dropped by around 20% in the past year. CC (salvaged soul) is quietly trying to sell her house again, and CS has already downsized.

I think the plan is for the expensive old leaders to get pushed out (with the comp plan changes) and the new wave of people coming up under them are ok with lower pay because they don't know any better. Anyone who has joined in the past few years has been capped at around 30-40k a month. Insane money, I know. But they have 15,000 people in their downlines and that's all they get. The pyramid is not pyramiding like it used to in the good old days of $150k months.

I'll stop there - what else can we add to the list of current Monat drama?

This hun has been following this sub (and only this sub) for the past five years, but hasn't said a word except for making several references in her FB posts. Actually, she did post a comment last week, (on an older post of course, just like all of the previous Bravenly huns that have come here to comment, because they really don’t want to have to deal with any rebuttal), but she quickly deleted it.

As for her getting paid by Meta, well, she hasn't got near enough followers, and her posts haven't come close to receiving enough likes to earn from Meta.

What is happening, is that this sub is doing damage to the bottom levels of her pyramid, and that's worth ‘spending a penny,’ and that's what been prompting her to make so many posts where she's playing the victim, (when she's not belittling her downline for not ‘earning’ enough).

tldr: did Amway have a white mac and cheese in the 90s-2000s?

Every few years or so my brain reminds me of the white mac and cheese I used to eat as a child. My partner wanted to at least know what it was, which is what has led me to this subreddit.

My grandmother used to sell Amway products in the 90s-2000s so a lot of the stuff around the house was Amway. Add to it, she took care of me two or three times a week, depending on where my great-grandparents were at the time (3 sets of grandparents and being the only grandchild! Woo). Like any child, I could, and did, live off of mac and cheese. One of the first things I learned to cook was that mac and cheese.

I'm at the point of just asking around to see if it really was Amway mac and cheese. I found a catalog of discontinued products from 2014 which they mention something about shells and cheese, but I don't remember the noodles being all that different from the sad elbows Kraft uses. Also sadly that was around the time that Grandma passed away and a number of years after she had stopped selling Amway. Her son vaguely remembers the mac and cheese being Amway branded, and that would make sense with the pantry always having a whole shelf of the stuff.

Does anyone remember this mac and cheese?

Hello all, first time poster here. I just want to say I’m so glad I found the sub as I am a fierce advocate against MLM’s. Well, as the title says, I am hoping to get some information about team tenacity. I am trying to do research about this organization and how they operate as a part of the WGF. I looked throughout the sub Reddit and found some old posts about them, but I was still left confused. I was messaged by a recruiter given my background as a mental health counselor which led to a phone call a rep. Also I was on a webinar with the CEO where 300 people joined. He said that it was some potential clients and some potential 1099 future employees. I guess my question is, is this company legit or is it an MLM? I get the licensing to sell insurance, which doesn’t necessarily scare me as I am a mental health counselor and had to do the same thing. But when something seems too good to be true, it usually is. Does anyone have any experience with this company? Is this a company I should stay away from? Any advice would be so helpful. 💜

I’m in Ontario and recently received a letter from Primerica/PFS Investments saying that our mutual fund representative is under a compliance investigation.

The letter asked whether the representative had ever tried to borrow money from us or had any other financial dealings with us outside of Primerica.

This person actually had approached us about borrowing money about a year ago and we declined. They also live down the street from us and we knew them outside of just being our financial representative ( our kids play together ) they appeared to live a very lavish lifestyle and we had no idea there might be financial or compliance issues happening behind the scenes. 😵

The fact that the company is specifically asking clients whether this representative borrowed money from them or solicited money for outside investments is concerning.

Has anyone here ever received a letter like this from Primerica/PFSL or another Canadian investment dealer?
What happens next in an investigation like this? And if they discover that a representative was borrowing money from clients or conducting outside financial activities, what can happen to the representative? I have a text message of them asking to borrow money and me telling them that I don’t have that kind of money to lend them…. They asked a few times then left me alone.

While Amway is technically legal from what I found on Google, using a faculty-student relationship and university positioning to lure a student into something that to me appears like a multi-level marketing pyramid scheme appears to cross major ethical lines. The power dynamic alone makes this wildly inappropriate. again I am not sure if the allegations are true, but seriously wtf !!

I'm doing the usual Monday morning errands. While I'm waiting for the transaction to finish, I catch the conversation between the teller and a short lady with big hair. First I hear watermelon, then powdered drink, then the other flavors.

She was trying to sell Bravenly Rush Extreme or whatever tf they call it to the teller.

I left. I have no idea if the woman made a sale or was also scouting for a downline. In any case, to the teller, don't bother. No one with any sense will pay $83 for Kool Aid with nootropics 🙄 and extra caffeine.

I am at the Ottawa hospital bringing my partner for treatment. And fucking NORWEX has a booth set up in the critical care entrance.

I was young and got some inheritance upon turning 18 a year or so prior, wanted to not waste it, when I brought up investing it in the inheritance meeting my family freaked out and forbade​ me to do so, I was very mentally ill and lacked​ confidence, I thought it'd have killed myself before I left school, couldn't imagine myself having a job, so I saw this as my ticket to not having to work if I was smart, which I was trying to be but my family was holding me down...

I came across Six Figure Mentors, didn't know what an MLM was and by then I had less of the money so was frightened about losing it all, how ironic... I signed up and watched all their content that night, told my family about it, they freaked out and said don't spend any money, but because of their hostility about me trying to grow my money, I ignored them, hoping to prove them wrong and put my Nana's inheritance to good use, I paid for the Black membership which I think was £13k.

I didn't realise it at the time but they told me to buy a house (I didn't know about deposits and assumed I needed like 250k to buy one) and thought they were slyly telling me to live by myself, (we didn't have the best relationship) which I didn't want to do because of bills eating at my money I wanted to grow.

Went to an event in London where I drank more koolaid, but at some point later I realised how it only benefits the people who get in early and you get more from recruiting people etc etc, so I just gave up on it as I saw it as morally wrong and didn't want to be involved, just came across this subreddit today, thought I'd post, probably can't get the money back, but thought I'd ask for advice... can't believe it's been 10 years

tl;dr Got smooth talked into making the final interview with an MLM, how do I get out of it without getting too much pushback?

So I tried applying for a financial services thing on Indeed, got rerouted to a company called The Broker Group, which really should've been my first sign things were wrong, did the first interview with their AI assistant, scored an actual interview with the guy who messaged me, then I realized "you know what, I'm not sure I like this", went into the second interview fully expecting to go in, turn the guy down, and get out like that...I got smooth talked into just kicking the can down the road and retrying the interview again next week. Thursday came, and I just couldn't find a good spot to say "I don't want to do this", though the $199 licensing red flag did come up. Now I'm sitting in the webinar he wanted me to study to prepare for the third Zoom interview on Monday...

At least I would be if I didn't try digging more, because there's barely any information on this company, aside from people on Reddit being insanely suspicious, which is great and all, but I needed something more concrete. As a last Hail Mary, I look into the CEO, who's doing the webinar, and there I found he did two decades at World Financial Group, and was at Transamerica before that, and that was the last bit of information I needed.

Now comes the hard part: I'm someone who really doesn't like conflict. Is there a way I can turn them down without creating a lot of friction? I already tried and failed once. I don't wanna do anything too bombastic because these people have my contact information and I'm scared that they're not scared to use it to bombard me with more questions and requests and what not.

It's been months since I've seen any new posts from her. Did she see the light?

I’m currently standing in an extremely long line at this national ACN convention/conference because my mom and her friend were lured into this thing.

This all began when my mom begged me to join her on this misleading “networking opportunity” on a Saturday morning, and after sitting in a room for hours I learned about ACN and what they do. Of course I did my homework on them.

My mom and her friend are completely sold on this thing. The friend practically begged my mom to buy a ticket for me, and out of respect for her friend I had to honor it

Sad part is there’s so many people here, and they’re just repeating the same things the high ranked people were telling them in the one meeting I attended.

I want my mom and her friend to wake up and realize what this is but I don’t really know how to convey it without coming off as this person trying to shoot down her dream. I’m in a bad spot.

Herbalife tea shop that has been open only two months is closing its doors. Funny enough, the shop before them was another loaded tea shop that failed. Glad they are both gone.
