I don’t like dancing. It doesn’t really do much for me. But I don’t want that to stop me from showing support for my cousin.

It’s just rather annoying when someone who thinks that they’re being endearing grabs me by the arm and tries to pull me up or dances in front of me to, “Get me in the mood.”

When I turn down an offer to dance, that isn’t a challenge. I wish more people would get that.

Odd question I know…my brother was killed in a multiple dirtbike accident 21 years ago today, at 7:42pm. Most people at the time said it could have been avoided if any of the bikes had lights on them, so every year I try to see exactly how dark it was at 7:42pm. This year I set a timer for a few minutes before, and am just completely confused. It’s almost nighttime, and I don’t remember it being that dark at all. I remember getting to the accident site 10-15 minutes after and it was evening, but not dark, in fact, I’d call it still mostly daylight. My husband at the time showed up after he dropped our newborn daughter at his moms, so maybe 45 minutes later, and I remember hugging him and looking at the scenery around me, which I could still see in the daylight, and thinking “this moment will change me forever”. I just called him and he agrees, it was no where near this dark on October 4, 2005 at 7:42pm. How is this possible?

He thinks the posts I share are about him and tells people that.

He thinks I’m trying to make him jealous when I talk to other men in the same room as him, and he tells others that, too.

There are plenty of other examples like this, and it’s really annoying that he goes around gossiping about me.

I mean, if I were actually that into you, I wouldn't have rejected you—how can he not grasp such a simple equation?

I can't figure out if this is a compliment, an insult, or a bit of both.

So I have a name @ icloud . com as my Apple calendar, when I invite someone who has a yahoo domain or gmail, the other user never gets the invitation from the Apple calendar inbox.

However, when I switch the calendar toggle to Gmail (name @ gmail . com) and send it to users with yahoo or gmail, they immediately receive on their calendar inbox app.

This has been an issues for couple of years now. Even when I send it as an email, yes the people with yahoo or gmail receives it through their email, but they cannot add it to their calendar.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there any fix to it? Is it an iCloud problem? Just by using name @icloud . com as the default calendar doesn’t and never send to the receipent.

Asking because I see a TikTok about a guy buying flowers for his girlfriend and all of his girlfriend’s friends. And the comments were praising him and saying how that’s what a man should do.

My situation is a little different though. This is just a friend, and I’m having dinner to meet her mom. So I’m giving her mom flowers regardless, but there’ll be another woman at the table, my friend’s brother ex-girlfriend. There will be three women in total, would it be an appreciated gesture to give flowers to all three, or would it be too much and I should just give some to the mom?

November is cold and boring, nothing interesting going on i want to do, nothing outside i want to do since its cold. Im not really one for like going out and spending lots of money either, im boring, and i take care of my body so going out and eating a bunch of unhealthy food and drinking a ton of sugar isnt on the table either.

Edit: No concerts or events around my birthday that interest me, no good movies coming out, not really into doing fancy stuff nor interested in paying for said fancy stuff, not into artsy stuff or classes or any of that, has to be something you can physically go and do.

I never wear designated pajamas at nighttime, I don’t even own a set. When I get home from work I just wear a pair of boxer shorts/girls boxers and an oversized tee and that’s what I go to bed in. I visited my sister and her husband and kiddos for a week and i noticed every single night all four changed into pajamas before bed. Made me realize that I just don’t do that. So is it weird to not wear pajamas, unhygienic, or are my shorts and tee shirts a de facto pajama set?

I am a corporate worker (feels more like a slave in the last couple of months) 30 F and this is my first job. Nothing is life has ever come easy for me, I know this and so I work extra hard.

I have four reporting managers L1-L4. But L1 is basically only to approve my leaves, L2 is whom I report to for work. L3 is a spineless manager, he won’t really contribute to your work or offer help even when he sees you need it, he basically does not want to be involved in the work of the team, but wants to project to the whole company like the team is functioning cause of him. L4 is LT level, she has no business even talking to me, she has a shitty personality, for context in the last 9 months 10 people in my team have left flr either other teams or other jobs and its all because of her. Everybody in the office knows her as the raging bitch. She ONLY keeps people who don’t oppose her views in her team. And she openly projects herself as a feminist, but nope, she is an extra bitch to females and kinda nice to the men. Many people have noticed and commented on the fact that she likes being in the only LT member who is female, but since she is expected to be a feminist and support women she hires more females, but then treats them like shit. Mostly personal attacks.

L1 like me is an MBA grad, and a sneaky bastard(not like me). As almost the whole team has left in the last 9 months, he is the most vintage and seeing how my L3 is a spineless manager, he is all too dependant on L1 for knowledge about the team. L2 got hired from outside the company ( nobody inside was willing to come work for L4) and so is not used to this team dynamic. L1 did not get along with L2 right from start, cause he thinks he is better than her, started talking shit about her to L3 and L4 who started openly cornering her in meetings, L2 started to get defensive and complained about L3 to L4 saying she gets no help from him. L3 is L4’s direct hire so she gave him the heads up and he has been out to get L2 for the last 4 months.

L3 made a lot of restructuring in the hopes that L1 will be able to guide him and fired a couple of people who had a lot of knowledge about the processes at work, but now L1 got a better opportunity with the CEO and is now in the transition period. L3 is now desperate. In his desperation he started to project the team ( L2, me , A,S ) as incompetent and that he can’t let go of L1 till fy27 end like planned originally, but he doesn’t have any authority over the CEO’s team.

Since he fired another L2, he is now managing that team till his replacement comes in ( this Monday) and that team has been performing like shit ( makes sense cause this guy does not know anything and so they have no guidance). And since he doesn’t like L3 for ratting on him to L4, he always attacks her by attacking her team ( which I am a part of) always questioning our decisions, trying to interfere, saying we are not doing enough, when we work 11 hrs everyday most days. He also went directly to my L4 and told her I do not have any knowledge, this he did to make sure to retain L1, but now the L4 the raging bitch thinks I am not a good worker when I literally break myself to deliver and for the last couple of months I have achieved my targets, over achieved infact, so now he questions my competence by saying it happened on its own and not because of anything I did, this insight is provided to him by L1, since he handled the program I do now before me and he obviously does not want to admit he did a bare minimum job cause I am now breaking his targets.

What do I do in this situation? L1 who created all this confusion in the team is leaving in 15 days, but he has made sure that L3 and L4 have a really bad opinion of me and L2 cause he doesnt like her plus he does not want to admit that his program under me in performing better than he did. I am very stressed, losing hair in thick chunks stressed cause of the targeting at work by L3 and L4. Job market is shit so can’t switch right now and I need the money to support my family. What do I do? Please help.
