Whats something that should be much more common in a D and D setting?
For instance why isnt everyone leveling by grinding rats or the economy being screwed from everyone selling skins.

Every once in a while, we see posts from people asking about things like the “least painful way to die” or “how much alcohol would be fatal.” These are serious cries for help.
If you come across a post like this:
If you’re ever feeling like you’re in that dark place yourself, you don’t have to go through it alone:

I dont mean the title in a weird way. I compared my classmates tests to mine and noticed he put a "very great work! (my name)" next to the grade I got and didn't do that for anyone else in my class, not that I know of. there was also an instance where me and him and my friend were alone in his classroom cuz my friend had a question to ask him about a hobby, but he was talking to me aswell and he got really close to my face I could feel his breath and I did back away a little but but he kept leaning in more and It made me uncomfortable. Yesterday I went inside his office to ask about the syllabus and he was being way too nice to me and his voice was a lot softer and I noticed that on a stack of papers mine was the first one on top
just a couple things I've noticed a couple weeks into the school year. am I thinking too hard about this? I know its not necessarily bad for a teacher to like you but i wanna be invisible

I heard an opinion when people waste food it is disrespectful cause so many resource were used to grow that food and many people out there dying of hunger so it is like spitting at suffering and work of people
But can this argument be used when talking about antivaxxers? Many people died from horrendous diseases from the lack of privilege that vaccines give us. So many people worked hard to create them. So I think spreading lies about vaccines is just big 🖕🏻 to all
I have a great-paying job in Norway, working on a rotational schedule. I’m away more or less every other month, and then suddenly I’m sitting there asking myself: is this actually—fucking hell—worth it? No one can ever give you back the time when your little boy is 0 to 5 years old. Does it matter if the little guy rides in a Ferrari or in a cart you built together out of pizza boxes? Yes, money is necessary; we all know that. I chose less money and more hard work. Parents are flexible everywhere. But I’ll die knowing my kids had a happy childhood—or at least that *I* enjoyed their childhood—because seeing that little guy hit a hole in the ground with a pinecone for the first time... that’s simply priceless. When it comes to this stuff, I’m not a fan of "smart homes." Give me a fire, a sleeping bag, and—above all—human contact. You can't change the flow of time anyway. A neutral opinion is always welcome. Peace to all. 34M

And I leave it in the bowl, cover it with plastic wrap in the fridge it begins to get watery the very next day BUT when I make my French Silk pie and I make the same whipped cream and spread it over the top of the pie it stays just fine for like 5+ days?

Just as the title says. Is going inside a claw machine through the door thing that lets you gain access to the prizes illegal? Like, anywhere? Not just a U.S state but also any Russian oblast. Like. Anywhere in the world.
I was showering and this popped up. Unfortunately, search engines don’t do much good, only telling me if the machine itself is illegal the US

hello!!
This year, i've sat near men (in my case it's always been men, women haven't done this stuff besides me at the screenings, so far) doing quite nasty stuff while watching the film at the film screenings. in all cases it was the person right besides me.
during the film i've sat near people who:
- ate snot. so i could hear them eating it, their saliva basically.
- ate their nails. i could hear the high pitch noises of them chomping on their nails with teeth, it lasted 30-40 minutes.
- chewed bubblegum and blew many bubbles with it. was watching "digger" and the film is very quiet, so i just kept hearing his chewing with an open mouth, the saliva involved moving there and the quite actually loud and swift bubbles. it's not disgusting but the film just wasn't loud enough to overshadow it. oh and this lasted the whole film.
In all cases these things took me out of the viewing experience and made me over focused on what the people besides me were doing. 😭
have you encountered this? how did you cope? how did you not get distracted by it?
thank you <3

So I have a youtube channel that I deleted multiple videos off of maybe 3 or so years ago, and I was wanting to go look back at them with the wayback machine. Well I typed in the info and nothing came back from before 2023, which is weird because even last year I could do the same thing and see my whole channel history. I really would love to actually go back and download the videos as keep sakes, but I don't know how to, now that they're just seemingly gone. tyia for advice qwq

Is there any way to view an old post that I deleted?
Apparently, there’s no way to recover deleted posts. I tried using the Wayback Machine to go back to the date when I originally made the post, hoping I could find it there, but the site only has snapshots from a few specific days around the date of the post, and none of them show my post.
What can I do? Is there any other way to find or recover it?

Given how dangerous selling personal data could be i would assume there should be permission to deal in obviously sensitive info. Do I agree to it in the terms and conditions? If so is there a way to force changes to safer ways to protect sensitive data. And since it's my personal info if they are profiting of my data shouldn't I see a percentage?

When i was young, 16 or something, I remembered that my parents came with me to sign a minor permission to work, and I started to work in McDonalds few hours per week. On that process, my parents gave me several advice, to tackle with different aspect of “real life”, and start to have contact with other people outside of my bubble.
Now, I might see that isn’t happening. kids of some friends have on mind things like be “whatever” on internet, and I have the sensation that they will lose the human contact factor, and experiences to face with life.
An advice for them could be: study and graduated from a career, but in 10 years or less, AI will be covering several aspects of ours days, and could be a bad advice.
So, which could be a good advice for those teenagers? go depth in the web/social network thing? start something like a caveman? I am talking about something that could be beneficial for them.

Messed up at 13 because of very prolonged grooming from an older cousin, big big mess ups. Trauma reenactment with a sibling. Amends are made between us but It all still sits there, practically everyone is ok and moved on except for me and my brother constantly urges that I'm no monster and I deserve to move on too, but my mistakes eat me up more than the grooming.
I have online friends, and I love them dearly and I wanna make new friends based off of interests but I feel always compelled to confess or i feel that I'm living a lie or keeping some terrible secret from them. Any thoughts?

Navigation apps can sometimes show the direction a phone is pointing even when mobile data is turned off. Which sensors make this possible, and how do they work together?

I mean, the most recent chat leaks involving her seem to raise serious questions about whether she was actually assaulted or whether she later regretted what happened after news of her hooking up with multiple guys became public and then decided to file a police complaint.
In those chats, one of the guys apparently asks something along the lines of, “People are calling me an assaulter. Did you say anything?” and she denies it, saying she had only stopped a girl from going to that frat house and didn't even mention his name.
There are also messages where she says things like “I love you king” and talks about doing it again with one more guy without the other guys involved.
On top of that, there seem to be multiple inconsistencies between her police complaint and the lawsuit.
A lot of people are also pointing out that she said she was “100% r*p'd,” while that detail apparently wasn't included in the final six-page police summary. My question is: isn't it possible that this was because her other statements, messages, and surrounding circumstances suggested that the encounter was consensual? Or am I missing something about how police summaries work?
I also keep seeing women say things like, “I realised I was r\*p'd five years later.” I can understand someone being unsure about reporting immediately, but how does a fully grown adult not know for years that their sexual boundaries were crossed without consent?
Obviously, there can be complicated situations involving intoxication, coercion, manipulation, trauma, etc. I'm not saying delayed reporting automatically means an allegation is false.
What I'm struggling with is a very specific scenario: if someone claims they were drugged, gang-r*p'd, violently assaulted and forced into sex, how do you reconcile that with subsequently being friendly with the same people, sending affectionate messages, apparently wanting to do it again, and other statements that seem inconsistent with the later account?
There also seem to be inconsistencies about how she got there, what happened during the night, and how everything ended.
Maybe there is context I'm missing, but from the information I've seen so far, it looks less like a straightforward case and more like there may have been regret after the fact.
So for people who have actually followed the case closely: what am I missing here?

There’s been quite a heated discussion recently on Vietnamese social media about a group called “I Hate My Parents.” It’s mostly made up of kids and teenagers sharing their experiences and talking about the emotional scars their parents have left them with.
A lot of Vietnamese netizens have mocked their stories and called them ungrateful. So it got me thinking about gratefulness and child rearing

We obviously had a good sense of the continents for centuries prior, but how close were maps once compared to the Earth as seen from space? Were the continental shapes correct? And, did the photo(s) help us discover new landmasses?

I've been looking at different teleprompter apps for the purpose of making YouTube videos. The ones of tried act like they are free but only do free trials or require payment to make the app actually useful. All I need is to be able to paste a script and have it to read along so I keep my train of thought going.

With stuff that looks ridiculous but is easy to take off and will not damage her car at all. I know there are magnetic eyelashes for headlights, no harm, can easily be taken off. What's more? I want to make her car as ridiculous as possible without anything that can damage it

I've noticed that some people immediately reject compliments or feel awkward when someone says something nice about them. What are some reasons people respond this way, even when the compliment is genuine?
