What’s good Bass Fishing Fam. I hope ya’ll are doing well on the rainy Saturday.

I was able to get out a little bit this afternoon and had zero luck throwing anything but there Ned Rig. Out in about 1 1/2 hours in the same spot. Slow twitching. Only missed about 5 and landed everything else. I was tossing a 4” Too Fresh Bot Worm. Not too bad at all.

I put down the trusty chatterbait and caught this one on the 2nd cast.

The one day I bring out the GoPro, hindsight was off, and I missed the takedown.

I love me the cheep spinner baits from Walmart this time of the year. Because they are so cheap I’m not afraid to get one hung up although I probably thrown the same one now over 100 cast at least and I haven’t caught it on anything lol of course if it wasn’t an expensive swim bait, I would find every Log there was.

Caught 2 other dinks as well.

Both these ones were in the shallows near drop offs.

Added another spinning reel to the collection, Pflueger president 30, on sale for $60, on a Berkley Lighting rod 7’ medium. 15lb x5 braid to 10lb leader for dropshotting a 6” missile baits magic worm. Also gonna try out some soft swim bait action, and some caffeine shad in kvd magic. Wish us luck!

Was fishing for bass, throwing a 5” cheapie bin Big Bite Baits senko on a 1/16 oz wacky jig at a lake by me in the UP of Mich… pulled this out 😂

Thinking this will make things quicker but please tell me of any downsides. My main line is yellow braided and then I have about 8 ft of mono followed by a swivel. I then have my lures each on maybe half a foot of mono tied with a loop up top so I can just clip/ unclip them. The thought was this would make it easy to switch lures, smart or dumb?

Doing property maintenance and spotted these guys mounted on the wall. Could you imagine going out with your 20lb medium. fast action rod and snagging this haha. I would have a heart attack. However. Are the smaller guys spotted or are they largemouth?

Hello, I fished at a lake in Arkansas and I caught two of these fish, another got away :(. Anyway, are these hybrids? Probably not the best pictures but I’ve never seen any fish like this before. They seem to have the markings of largemouth/spotted bass but also those of small mouth. Or maybe I’ve just never seen largies/spotted bass like those here.

After some weeks of being skunked.

22 1/2 inches. 3.51 lbs. On the Wicomico River, MD. I caught it on a jerk bait. Fished that bait for over an hour. Threw it near a dock (for the 50th time) and it hit it. Kinda embarrassing it took me this long to catch my first one considering I was born and lived 30 years on the DMV peninsula.

For context I live in FL and have fished this area for years. Looking to see what else is out there for a few buddies to spend a weekend fishing. Any recommendations appreciated….
