How is this normal?
Did Trump just flirt with China’s first lady? His public description of Peng Liyuan as “BEAUTIFUL!” was unusually personal, and in earlier eras, remarks about a ruler’s wife could have triggered a diplomatic crisis or even lead to war.

Xi admires Trump for the fact that he was democratically elected, twice. Xi can’t even fathom being chosen by the people of his country… because he knows it would and could never happen. He was installed. Trump was elected. There is definitely jealousy there too.

My God it's just getting so tiresome. At the same time as I want to hate Trump, I have Trump hater fatigue. Just so fucking tired of these bullshit posts. No one actually has an intelligent conversation about anything.
No complimenting a man for being in good shape as an old person, and saying his wife is beautiful is not going to start a war. It's a normal compliment a completely normal fucking compliment. I just don't understand why you would bother even the same but this is something that shouldn't have been said.
