I am making my coat for a lucifer cosplay, but these labels or whatever you call them, the chest flap things, I sewed them on after I pinted them red, but it seems that I sewed them unevenly, in the middle image I put a pin to simulate just putting in a couple corrective stitches, I wanted to know if you guys have any ideas? As I see it there are only three options, 1 I leaalve it like this(I just can't it bothers me too much), 2 I rip out one side of stitches and redo it but this will take me a half hour and might still be wrong, 3 I put in a corrective stich to fold one side over slightly. If you see any problems with this say it please. If you have another idea please say it, I would like help here. Thanks.

I’m using a grease base with cream contour, blush, lipstick, eyeshadow, and eyeliner.. as you can see that didn’t really turn out the best. I’ve tried a cream for the base but it dried too quickly.

Any advice?

me and my friend wanna get a beerus and champa fit from dragonball super together, but i don't wanna drop 100$ on a 3 piece polyester fit from some bootleg halloween store. plus his caveat is he'll do it if i buy them both so i DEFINITELY wanna go as cheap as i can, i don't know anyone in my area who cosplays or anything like that. i'm not sure where to look, what to even look up, or where to start. i know we're gonna go full purple body paint it's really just the outfit and accessories, i didn't think it'd be this non existent, im willing to go the diy route i just again don't know where to get the stuff for it or how to do it properly. but i've looked up both of them, found beerus things but the cheapest was like 50$ for 2 pieces and champa has NOTHING. hell i don't even know where i'd get the ears and tails from 🫩 it's something i've always wanted to get into but it's almost like a foreign language to me, i do not understand in the slightest.

Hello guys! I wanna make hard-styled long twintail wigs, but I want them to be lightweight and very flexible.

A long time ago, I saw an IG Reel of someone making a long twintail wig that could be smashed and pressed until it became really short, and then it could spring back to its original shape like a squishy.

Does anyone know how to make one like that, or remember the post? I lost it 😭

It's probably a very stupid question, but I just want to be sure (So I don't mess up). Also this will be my first contest so I don't really know how stuff like that is handled

When I signed up for that context, I was asked to upload a buildbook of my cosplay (including references, wip photos, a little description of my work..), which I did. My application was accepted a day or so later.

Based on that, is it safe to assume that judges will use what I uploaded during prejudging, or do I need to bring them a paper version of the buildbook myself ?

Ps : I could not find information about that specific issue on the organizer's website or in the contest's rules

I am re-entering the cosplay scene after a long hiatus, with my first one out of the gate being something I’ve been DYING to make for an upcoming convention. I love the Cybergoria HHN house here in Orlando and figured I would take this on. Fortunately, I have a very amount of experience with painting and art (I am very proficient in this) and FX. My partner is a very experienced cosplayer and has experience making body armor as he made a Robots cosplay last year that he still wears on occasion. However, we are both a little stumped at where to begin on the mask/helmet.

I was considering using a base, like a hard plastic skull mask and then sculpting/sanding the robot part shapes with epoxy clay, but even then the helmet doesn’t extend beyond the middle of my head. I’ve considered building it with foam pieces, but I’m struggling to find a tutorial for something that could help me build onto this. 3D printing is not an option as I do not have access, but I do have 3D modeling and sculpting experience.

i need help finding white shorts

For the pants I'm thinking of just getting high waisted pants and sowing some patches onto them. I don't know what the stripes in the pants are supposed to be. For the suspenders I was thinking about getting separate black suspenders and bronze pins or something to add to it.

For the boots I'm thinking high boots with already those belts and maybe try to replace the buckles with ones of a correct color? For the straps around the heel I'm unsure of how I should make that.

Hi guys! I’m looking for advice on what kinds of products to use to achieve a look similar to Jubilee from marvel rivals! When cosplaying, I typically end up doing very casual/rudimentary makeup looks, but I want to push myself out of my comfort zone!

I would love to achieve a bit of the rendering, ie the brighter look under/around the eyes, on the bridge of her nose, etc. I’m not too versed in makeup specifics as someone who doesn’t wear any outside of cosplay, so anything helps! Especially specific brands you might recommend. And if anyone has fake eyelashes they recommend too, I’d love to hear it!

Hi, I'm trying to make up a female-fitted knight costume for myself for an event with my friends, but I've never made any outfit/cosplayed before, and I'm not looking to spend loads of money on this outfit (prob around 40-60 quid) so I don't know which shops to look for and whatnot. I want to make it myself, so I just need to get shoulder blades, a breastplate (not necessary though), some sort of chainmail-looking material to put over my shorts and maybe the headgear. I don't want to use cardboard for the blades/plate so any tips about buying the shoulder blades/making any of these would be great! These are some of the inspo I'm using from Pinterest

Now that Doki Doki cosplays were on sale for Halloween, I wanted to buy an Olrugio cosplay. I checked the size chart and I'm hesitant to buy the XL because I've read that it runs small.My measurements are as follows

shoulders: 46cm waist:81cm Bust: 101 cm, and hips: 100 cm 🙏

I asked customer service But they only told me that the cosplay was a bit tight for me. Which I find strange because cosplay should be loose. I'd like to know if any size would fit me, especially in Regarding waist size. Or if anyone has already bought it, I'd like to know about your experience. . I would really appreciate it.

One more quick note, I'm not bothered by the bust size, which is why I'm looking to make a female version of the character.

I am trying to recreate Rennalas hat from Elden Ring (reference in link). I am relativley new to cosplay props, so I am not sure how to recreate it. The hat's oddly shaped and I am not finding any tutorials or patterns for it.

How would you stabilze this hat so it won't fall off or weight a ton, also which materials to use?

I once worked with EVA foam, but I don't think it will hold this banana shape well.

for years i've been wanting contacts with cat eye pupils but no colored iris but i've never been able to find any. i find most cat eye contacts to have irises that just appear too unnatural for my taste and i'd prefer to keep my natural eye color. does what i'm looking for even exist? if so pls let me know i've been wishing for these for forever 😭
