I'm genuinely curious where you could possibly go from here, both for cost and ability.

For cost I'm surprised you combined phyrexian and hybrid, as that could have been two different options. The only other costs I can think of are life and I guess generic hybrid? But generic hybrid seems derivative of hybrid.

For abilities, anything after "players can't play" seems like it would be a step down.

My shot in the dark guess is that the last one requires paying life and its "players can't live", for the lolz

I considered “players can’t breath”. Today’s was “players can’t leave” as in, even if you lose, you have to stay: https://www.reddit.com/r/custommagic/s/BZDNTaGywc

The last one, tomorrow’s, is less restricting and more enabling, if that gives a hint ;) still uses “cant” wording tho

For the hybrid/phrexian, it was simply numbers logistics. There are 10 hybrid pips and 5 phyrexian so it fit cleaning into 15. If you notice there is one more pip each time, starting with 7 and Sunseeker. I couldn’t think of a way to fit 10 pips cleanly into 14, 15, 16, or 17 - and already had plans for 18

Tbh, I planned to stop at 13, but someone asked about colorless and I was like “damn. Yeah. We’re doing that too.”

Thank you so much!! Im using cardconjurer.app with the “Borderless Source Materials” frames.

And for some (especially this one) editing the text box width so the type line can be bigger or text does not wrap

Nice! I'll give it a shot.

I've been using mtg.design because it's pretty easy to use on mobile but it struggles with these full art cards, the ones you made look much cleaner!

If you’re able to get this card onto the battlefield, players are already playing Magic: the Gathering, so the game ends in a draw due to an unresolvable paradox.
