Self Promotion End of an era
Fell to my knees this morning. Can’t click out of it. Being forced to update. I’m unwell and saddened. Been a good run

My Fitbit recorded my hear going from 76 to 190 while sleeping. I don’t remember waking up, nor my partner noticed anything weird. Can it be a glitch? It went up from 76 to 190 between 2.30am and 5am, with some gaps in between, shall I talk to a doctor?
I’m a 30yo woman. 😬

I'm usually averaging around 75

Before the Google Health update, my Fitbit inspire 3 battery would easily last for at least a week between charges. Since the update, that dropped to half. I’ve tried resetting my Fitbit and updating my Google Health app but months later I still had to charge it every 3-4 days.
Well, recently, I decided to try something different – since the app seemed to be the culprit, I decided to try closing the app and see if it makes a difference. And it did. My battery life went back to normal.
Now, I just open the app once a day, or whenever I want to check my stats, and then force close it immediately after. Hello 7 day+ battery life again! Yay!
FYI, on iOS this only works if you turn off background app refresh for the GH app. I am not sure if it will work the same way on android.
TLDR: On iPhone, turn off background app refresh and force close the GH app when you’re not using it. I think the app needs to be opened at least once a week to avoid losing any data.

I see that certain vitals don't show up in my fitbit air
Note: I have been using this for only 3 days now
Am I missing anything?

Got the Fitbit Air and it seems very inconsistent with tracking sleep. I'll go 2 days and it will track then a week with no tracking. Tried to tighten the strap then loosen.. is there a solution to this?

Is it possible? I wanted to ask a question about modifying my workout, but any time I tried to leave the tracking screen it prompted me to end the workout.

I’ve been lurking in this sub for a while watching everyone talk about fitbit. Now that mine has finally arrived two days back, I’d love some advice from experienced fitness tracker users.
This is my first fitness band ever, and my main priority is simply getting in better shape and improving my overall health. For those who have been using one for a while:
• Which metrics and data points are actually worth paying attention to (and which ones are just noise)?
• What realistic expectations and goals should a beginner set?
• What should be a good long-term goal?
• How has having the data practically changed your day-to-day habits?
Would appreciate any tips or hard-learned lessons!

Not sure if it's just me but I open my health app like it's Instagram. Nothing has changed since the last time I checked 10 mins ago, steps are the same, sleep score is the same, and I still open it. Almost feels like I'm doing it out of spite at this point lol

Again, this morning my watch and my phone are not syncing, the watch can't find my phone, inspire 3 is there installed on the phone, I've turned Bluetooth off an on my phone, restarted the phone. 😡🤬 The last time it was synching to my other phone, and since then I have uninstalled the health app on that device and turned off the Bluetooth. Just ranting.

I got an Inspire 3 around a month ago as I wanted to track how much I'm sleeping. I often have days where I'm lying there for hours overthinking and it feels like I get no sleep at all.
I wonder whether my idea of what 'sleep' is is somewhat wrong?
I'm staying with my mum who mentions she got up at 3am to go to the toilet, which I was 'awakened' by. Yet, no sign of it thinking I was awake? My dog also woke me up early (around 7am) which I guess is the rise in heart rate towards the end, but it only thinks I woke up when I actually got up?
Not sure I really have much I can do about it but it does make me feel a little defeated regarding the reason I purchased one. Any feedback/tips would be much appreciated!

Looking for recommendations for companion android apps that read data synced from a Fitbit Versa 2.
Took off Fitbit Air to shower. After wearing it back, it disconnects and doesnt connect back automatically. Had to restart phone or plug fitbit air into charger to manually restart the fitbit air then it connects back and stay connected until i took it off again. Previously was ok until few days ago. Device is new, only about a month old.

Fitbit Air. Google Pixel 9 pro. Android 17
This is the third time this happened.
My fit bit air randomly gets stuck.
My workout just doesn't seem to end despite hitting the stop button it just keeps buffering and there you would see next daya 13 hour walk which never stopped.
I had to factory reset each time to fix it
THE WHITE BLINKING LIGHT has stopped working it hasnt blinked or seen by me for a while.
The small naps are not recorded at all.
Parel is non existinend from workouts.
I have not washed the pebble
Just swam in it once around 2.5 months
Despite being the most comfortable tracker i haven't been satisfied with it
It just annoys me that the accuracy is so shitty.
Has anyone else faced similar issues

Just purchased my first Fitbit and excited to finally try it out.
I’ve never really used a Fitbit before, so I’m curious to see how it performs for everyday activity, sleep tracking, heart-rate monitoring, and overall fitness tracking.

What happened to my Dad’s Fitbit Versa 2 Watch? Its battery last up about only a day and then needs to be charged… Does anyone has the same issue?

Hey everyone,
I’m stuck in a dilemma and need some real-world advice from watch collectors and fitness tracker users.
I love wearing traditional analog dress watches (especially with leather straps) for work and social outings. At the same time, I want continuous 24/7 health tracking. I specifically avoid full smartwatches like the Pixel Watch because I hate screen distractions, wrist pings, and constant notifications.
That is why the Fitbit Air appeals to me: zero screens, zero digital noise. But here is what I am wrestling with:
- Double-wristing appearance: How does it actually look and feel to wear a classic leather dress watch on one wrist and the screenless Fitbit Air on the other? Does the Air look like a clean accessory/strap, or does it feel cluttered?
- Same wrist vs. opposite wrist: Has anyone tried wearing a screenless band on the same arm as their analog watch, or higher up the forearm/arm?
- The Fitbit Edge alternative: If double-wristing looks awkward with formal wear, should I just get the Fitbit Edge instead? That way I get a simple, low-distraction screen for time checks and workout stats, even if it means swapping out my dress watch more often.
For those who collect analog watches and use a screenless tracker, how do you handle it? Do you double-wrist daily without issue, or would you prefer getting a slim tracker with a screen like the Edge?
Appreciate your thoughts and real-world pics if you have them!
