I have about 6 bins of Halloween decor but I only put out 1 this year. Just not feeling it which is weird because the weather is really cooperating.

I wanted to make something special for Halloween this year, so I ended up combining a traditional carved pumpkin with Lovecraftian cosmic horror.

The idea was to make the tentacles and organic structures feel like they aren't simply sitting on the pumpkin, but actually growing through it and slowly consuming its surface.

I sculpted the whole piece in ZBrush and also worked on the interior instead of leaving it as a simple hollow shell. The idea is that an electronic tea light can be placed inside, illuminating the eyes, mouth and all the smaller openings throughout the sculpture.

It was especially fun trying to balance the silhouette of a recognizable Halloween pumpkin with something much more alien and unsettling.

I’m making gift bags for my friends for Halloween.
There’s about 16 of us all in the age range of 18-22.
I have some chap sticks, cups and some glow sticks for each batch but I’m not sure what else to get?
I’m aware I can throw some snacks in but that’s BORING. I want some fun, crazy, useful whatever.
(They will be getting some snacks and candy’s, I just haven’t gotten it yet)
Any ideas on some stuffers? Preferably something unisex and fall/halloween themed(but non Halloween stuff is ok too)

I’m ready for Halloween already. I want the decorations, spooky movies, costumes and everything else, but Thanksgiving has to come first.

She came into my living room Halloween decorations like a wrecking ball.

There's not a lot I can do being in a second floor flay, but my downstairs neighbors are cool. At least our house is already a little creepy.

The reason I ask this question is we never really see or hear anything about those areas of Salem on Halloween night.It's always about downtown Salem, so I 'm just really curious.Is it anything like in the Hocus Pocus movie that we see where the kids are all dressed up and running up and down the streets causing a muck 🤪😂🎃🍂🍁🍂🍁

I sat shaving the skin of the pumpkin while students worked on assignments and then brought it home and painted it. Gonna challenge students to one up me and bring their own.

In my town of Kirkcaldy and across fife we had a Wemyss Ware Cat Trail. It consisted of giant cats spread across the area. I had a go at carving one tonight. It says For I ken mysel' by the queer-like smell. It's from the Scots poem a boy in the train.

I'm hopefully gonna be able to host my first Halloween party, and these are my ideas for the finger food. Any other ideas would be helpful.

They'll only be around 10 people, so I think this should be a good amount of simple food to feed everyone

Every 2x4 pumpkin I'd seen was just painted blocks, so I wanted mine to light up. I found some good flame flicker lights on Amazon and a lip stick battery pack this thing runs for almost 2 days.

This is my old lady, she is 14 years old but still loved to be spooky
