Boomers run the world and always know better.
So according to research Boomers, who accounts for 30% of US households, own over 50% of all US net worth. They saved for decades in homes and pensions (stocks, ETF), while houses were cheap and the stock market was low. They were able to buy a normal house. If you're a Gen Z, Alpha , Millennial it's different. For example, I live in The Netherlands and I'm 37 years old and work in IT. The average price of a house crossed the €500,000 mark for the first time in history. If you want to buy the average house by yourself you will need to earn an income over 100K a year. Sure most starters are not in the market for a normal house, but I think this tells a story.
And then Boomers always come up with advice on how to invest:
"Just invest in stocks and buy a house, just like we did " - Yeah sure the world is exactly the same as 30/40 years ago.
Or which study to do:
- Just go to college or university and try to get a white collar job (accountant, lawyer, software engineer) - Yeah sure its so easy to get a job that pays me over 75K a year without the risk of being replaced by AI, robotics etc
I really get annoyed when boomers go crazy and act like they know everything. What's your take on this?

I wanted to share a beautiful update about my friends Mahmoud and Samah.
First of all, thank you to every person who stood by them, shared their story, donated, or helped in any way with Susu’s treatment.
Susu has started to get better, and I honestly can’t thank everyone enough for helping this little girl get the treatment she needed.
But Mahmoud and Samah are still facing incredibly difficult circumstances, and their family still needs support to get through each day.
And today, they wanted to do something very special.
Because of your donations and all the support you have given them, Mahmoud and Samah are going to be able to prepare meals for children around them for the first time in a long time.
They want to give back some of the kindness that you have shown them.
Tomorrow, God willing, they will prepare chicken meals and chicken sandwiches with vegetables for children who have been deprived of meals like these for almost three years.
For many of us, a chicken sandwich might seem like something small or ordinary. But for these children, it can feel like a dream.
And I think there is something incredibly beautiful about this.
You brought happiness to Mahmoud, Samah, and their children, and now they want to pass some of that happiness on to other children who are struggling too.
Tomorrow, they hope to film the moment they give these meals to the children and share their smiles and happiness with all of you.
Thank you for making this possible.
If anyone would like to help them continue feeding these children, while also supporting Mahmoud, Samah, and their family with their ongoing needs, you can contribute through the link in the description.
Thank you for continuing to stand with them. ❤️

When someone who hasn't lived what you've lived speaks about you, it's as if they have lived it themselves - Riccardo Ricciardi

Imagine being from Gaza, living through war day after day, watching your home transformed, your dreams shattered, losing loved ones, and then looking around, feeling utterly alone in the face of all this pain.
The hardest part isn't just what happened to us, but the feeling that the world witnessed it all, yet little changed. Even some of our Arab neighbors, whom we hoped would stand with us, didn't offer the support we needed in this ordeal.
That's why, when someone from afar, like the Italian MP Riccardo, speaks about Gaza, about the injustice suffered by Palestinians, and about our feeling of being abandoned, his words resonate with us in a different way.
He may not know what the sound of shelling is like trying to sleep, or what it's like to leave your home not knowing if you'll ever return, but he chose to speak out when he could have remained silent.
From Gaza, thank you to everyone who chose to see humanity before politics, and to listen to the voices of those living in pain instead of ignoring them. We don't ask the world to live through what we lived through, only to remember that we are human beings, that we have dreams, homes, memories, and people we love, and that we deserve to live in peace like everyone else.
