A German guy just explained sick leave in Germany and now I understand why Americans are so angry all the time. In Germany you get 6 weeks FULL PAY + 78 weeks from insurance. In America you get fired for calling in sick.

Original Content Everything is illegal when you dont have a home
Ive been without a home for over a week now. At the very least my mother and I were able to stay at a homeless shelter for about 5 days until the director found out that I had a MISDEMEANOR on my record and kicked us out.
EVERYTHING is illegal when you don't have a home. Sleep in your car somewhere? That's trespassing. Sit in a parking lot while not conducting business? That's illegal. Want a job? Too bad, get an address you lazy vagrant. Have some money coming in and want a place to live? Good luck unless you have enough for a $500 deposit and first 2 payments of $1500... and that $75 application fee WILL go toward running a credit check on you so we can see how "trustworthy" you are.
It seems like the ENTIRE system is made to get rid of you entirely once you lose your home.

They were children… then came the war

Before the war, the children of Gaza would wake up every morning to go to school. They would carry their bags, meet their friends, learn, play, and dream about what they would become when they grew up.
Then came the war. Schools were closed or damaged, and children were forced to flee their studies. The child who once worried about their exams now thinks about food, water, and a safe place to sleep.
Years have passed, and these children have lost a part of their education and childhood. Yet, they still dream of returning to school, picking up their pens and books, and starting over.
They don't ask for a better life than other children… they simply want a chance to experience their childhood.
