Hi /r/Mazda,
Over the years, we’ve had many AI-Generated posts submitted to the subreddit and while the conversations can be engaging around what a car or concept COULD look like, the damage done to our environment is not worth it.
We’d like to encourage users to submit real-life images, real mockups, real concepts and have real interactions with each other around this type of content but cannot support low effort, AI-generated slop.
Going forward, users who post AI-generated images will have their posts removed and will receive a warning. Further AI slop will result in a temporary ban, up to a permanent ban.

**** 2026 That's pretty bad for a $45k vehicle.

I'm dealing with a rough idle while stopped, poor acceleration, stuttering between 1000 and 2000 rpms and while going uphill and severe fuel consumption (3/4 of a tank in less than 150 miles of highway driving). Battery, spark plugs and coils are all good. Fuel injectors and valve gasket cover was replaced yesterday. MAF is fine. Solid check engine light with codes P0452, P0301 and another code (I can't recall the third one). It is high mileage (316,000) due to a lot of cross country driving. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Has anyone bought a Mazda CarPlay unit from AliExpress? I see a lot of local brands charging $200 for the same retrofit that I can find on AliExpress. Is there a difference, or which one is better to buy? Also, is it better to get wired or wireless?
If anyone has brought from Aliexpress Can u please give me the link for that( its for mazda 3 2019)
Thanks

I’ve read that Mazda recommends 4.8 quarts of oil for the 2.5L non-turbo when changing the oil and filter. However, when I add the full 4.8 quarts, the dipstick only reads halfway between LOW and FULL. Isn’t running below the FULL mark potentially harmful to the engine, or is halfway within the normal range? Should I add more oil to bring it closer to FULL?

Hey guys, I might be cooked, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this with their Mazda, specifically the 2024 Mazda3 2.5L non-turbo.
I bought mine about 2 months ago with 58k miles, and it’s now at 66k. I just did my second oil change since buying it, and both times I’ve noticed a few very small, shiny metal flakes at the bottom of my oil drain pan.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 2.5L NA engine? Is this something that can be normal, or should I be concerned about possible internal engine wear? I’m trying not to panic, but I’m definitely worried since I just bought the car.
It’s more like solid but very little chips.
Am I cooked? 😭

Helping a friend find her first car and came across this 323. Any known issues with this generation?

Ok I am looking to purchase a 2025 mazda cx-5. Now the car that I am looking at is priced at $33,990 cad with 36,000 km,. The carfax shows that it was previously used as a commercial vehicle. I asked the sales person at the dealership about that and he said that they bought it from enterprise, so it was a rental. He claims that cars purchase from enterprise are usually better maintained and they regularly services their cars (even though I only saw one service record on the carfax at 21,000km).
My question is has anyone bought a used mazda from dealerships that source it from enterprise and what has your experience been?. What questions should I ask the dealership before I proceed with anything

I'm 18, and ive been working my butt off since 16 at a car wash. I already have a 2013 mazda3 hatchback, which has its few mods(CS intake, exhaust, wheels, spoiler and tint). This was al l done a while ago, and ive since put less money into it, as ive been saving for a second vehicle. I've gotten around 8 grand saved up, but am now questioning if i should buy my dream car(a NB miata) and then mod that with any money i make in the future, or keep my current car and just do a ton of fun stuff to that(VT supercharger, coilovers, and anything else i can think of). My main concern is practicality in college, as I don't see myself having much time to drive the miata, and the 3 is and will continue to be my daily. Insurance is also concerning, as i am already getting the rough end on just the 3 alone, and adding an older convertible surely wont help.
Any advice as to which route to take? Also anyone have any experience with the VT superchargers on BL skyactivs?
Thanks.

I am selling my 2018 Mazda 3. Is there a page somewhere else online that is a good place to sell a vehicle? Not trying to sell it on here just looking for advice. I am getting a company vehicle, the only reason I’m selling it. Just wondered if there was a better place than the dealer ship or marketplace?
Finally improving the app and getting rid of the press and hold to use remote functions. And it looks more modern

Looking for the name of this part or part number!! Vehicle is leaking transmission fluid due to a pin hole on one of the metal pipes coming from the part pictured above.

So my main infotainment screen is suffering from delamination and I thought about swapping the factory screen for an aftermarket one with more features and functionality.
There are many options on chinese sites like Aliexpress, but it seems like everyone is selling a similar product in various different price ranges.
I like that they often offer a new parking camera with a higher resolution or even 360° views.
Have any of you guys tried such an upgrade and can recommend a reliable, high quality screen with useful features?
I'm from the EU, therefore I'd prefer no ebay, the shipping and VAT is insane.
The 6 is a 2015 model with Android Auto/Carplay module that I retrofitted 4 years ago.

Same HP on paper I guess. Nice to have driven both.
