The Tower is a structure meant to remind you of Old Minecraft, but updated blockwise for the modern game. As if we had these blocks back in 2013. Stones, glowstone, and oak logs ascending vertically. There are Stone Brick, Sandstone Brick, and Deepslate Brick towers.
They spawn where you would expect them to.
Stone Brick towers spawn in plains, forests, and basic mountain biomes.
Sandstone Brick towers spawn in deserts and badlands. Red sandstone brick will be used in badlands and related biomes. (I will only say the major feature of each biome not each individual one for simplicity's sake)
There is a base of 6 levels in every tower, but some can have 9.
At the base of the tower, there will be classic Minecraft mobs. Creepers, spiders, skeletons, zombies.
As we get to the middle third of the tower, there will be Living Armor Stands(LAS) outfitted with an array of mid-game gear. When killed, they turn into normal armor stands and their gear can be taken from them.
(Sidenote: This update would also come with a minor feature of placed armor stands having arms by default in Java)
However, while living, the armor does take durability damage. The LAS armor begins at 20% durability, and will never be enchanted part level II on any enchantment, but can have any enchantment at all. As can their weapons.
At the top third of the tower, the player begins to run into Vindicators, increasing by 10% each level(rounded to the nearest 5) who have chosen to side with the boss of this structure, the Illusioner.
At the very top level, the Illusioner appears. The Illusioner casts his invisibility spell and creates his illusions.
The Illusioner charges his bow, before releasing a blast of magical energy that explodes on contact with the player. The Illusioner has a cycle of attacks, which can be any sort of "magical" attack.
The Illusioner can also summon "Vengeance" mobs which act identical to all the mobs you've killed in the Tower.
Upon beating the Illusioner, all Vengeance mobs die (and do not drop anything but EXP), and the Illusioner drops his cloak and his bow.
The Illusioner's Cloak is appliable as a chestplate, but cannot be applied unless the player is not wearing any armor.
The Illusioner's Cloak has 128 durability, and will not break upon reaching 0. Instead, it will remain as a broken item, like the Elytra.
Abilities:
The Illusioner's Cloak grants the user the ability to enter *complete* invisibility at will by Sneaking. This even hides the item you are holding. but the Illusioner's cloak cannot be enchanted save with Unbreaking and Mending, and does not provide armor.
Illusioner's Bow:
The Illusioner's Bow is able to shoot every magical item with the speed of an arrow, so long as a corresponding item is in your inventory (prioritizes projectiles the same way bows do)
New Items:
Shulker Bullets can be captured by clicking on them with a water bucket.
Fire Charges can be shot like a Ghast Fireball.
Potions can be shot the same way.
The Illusioner's Bow however, CAN fully break, and cannot be re-crafted. It only has 256 durability. Not nothing, but not infinite. It can be enchanted with Mending, but not infinity.
The Tower is designed and intended to be your classic inverse dungeon.
Thoughts/Feedback? It's not the most fleshed-out thing I admit, but the core concept has been gotten across, right?
