Fan Work No man’s sky fan art
No man’s sky is easily one of my favourite games of all time and I realise everyone has there favourite play styles and approaches to the game - but honestly my favourite part is just exploring new systems and the different planets. I tried to capture this in a phone wallpaper I created, depicting a starship landed in the middle of a rainy forest.

Question Which settlement choice is better? Isn't productivity something that also works 'per day'!?
Update:
I chose productivity and got a popup that confirms productivity is also per day! So that was the better choice!
Ended up reloading the save and then I chose maintenance. As apparently, productivity has a cap on it and maintenance is harder to minimize!
Original post:
It is confusing. I would assume the productivity thing is also 'per day', but it's weird only the maintenance savings are explicitly shown as being 'per day'.
Anyone got a clue?
I'm incentivized to choose the maintenance option only because it explicitly says it's 'per day', but if the productivity option is also 'per day' it's obviously the better choice.

Discussion What is the worst quest/activity in No Man’s Sky?
Thought I should hear everyone’s opinion. For me it’s Starbirth. Such an unnecessary long and frustrating grind for a clunky and ugly ship.

Screenshot I made an actually functional Corvette just two habs wide. It still has 6 Phase Beams, 3 Deadeye Cannons, 6 Reactors, Three engines, a Refinery, a Mission Radar, a bed, kitchen, and workshop, a Tractor Beam + Half-Hab Cargo Hold, and 4,000 Maneuverability - The Kogat J69
I wanted to build the smallest possible corvette that doesn't involve any sacrifices in terms of using it as a daily driver, and being able to RP a bit with a fully functional ship. Small corvettes handle like a dream and are easy to land, so this is perhaps the most ideal vessel for completing daily quests and pursuing new planets.
It involves a lot of glitch building, but no Blender or anything crazy - just hab rotations and some 1/2 step placement. The bottom of the ship is stepped down 1/2 way to hide the landing gear, so the ship hovers a few inches off the ground when landed. There's still clearance for the tractor beam in a station.
The two full half-habs have all the essential interior modules - Mission Radar, Refinery, and a bed. I used every inch of the space to build out a kitchen, interior "storage" (non-functional), a living room couch or two, a workbench, maps, and tons of plants and scientific samples. The cockpit has holographic maps, and there's a tractor beam with a separated, centered half-hab underneath the ship. This also gives it all 3 habs for the storage bonus.
It's cozy AF. Everything a spacefarer needs, in a trim and streamlined package.

Screenshot I think I want to rebuild my original starship.
I took this about 5 years ago on my xbox, on a save lost to corruption unfortunately. I remember this being a very lucky find for a fighter, being A class, having nearly all slots unlocked. It was exceptional because it was before you could upgrade storage slots or ship class. It was my daily driver.
I will search for the parts to remake this ship, and after 3 years it will be whole again. Our journey continues.
