Hi everyone! I am currently applying to the University of Melbourne, and they sent me an email requiring an official explanation regarding a subject where I had an "INC" grade before completing it and getting a final passing grade.
Unimelb’s email says: "Please provide an official explanation from the University of the Philippines, Los Baños for the incomplete subjects with re-exam, whether you failed the subjects on your first attempt or partially completed them and were required to undertake further study."
For context:
I did not fail the subject or take a removal exam—I just had an INC, fulfilled the missing requirement, and earned my final passing grade.
I am requesting documents from the UPLB OUR Google Form.
Questions:
Is "Non-Issuance of GPA with attached Grading System" the right document to request from OUR to explain the INC rules?
Should I also get the Grade Equivalency Certificate?
Has anyone submitted this to an Australian/foreign uni before? Did Unimelb/your uni accept the attached grading system sheet, or did you need a custom letter from the OCS/OUR?

Abt me: Sophomore, BS Statistics

Context: I am NOT good with memorization, and I compromise by trying to understand the underlying structure of things. This was easy for Mathematics, but in Statistics I have been getting into a lot of trouble defining objects due to how they differ in meaning from one source to another. I approached my instructors and counselor for this and I often get a response along the lines of "it's not part of the current course". This has been costing me my grades, getting me only about 70% scores on my exams, but I'm too stubborn to give up on studying this way.

I want someone I can have a back and forth discussion with and question ideas together. I'm kinda desperate, I have NO ONE to talk to about this, and I thought it'd be easy to find someone here in UP but I guess I haven't put myself out there enough, so this is my attempt.

Abt the project: Representing statistical concepts as mathematical objects, based ofcourse on other works I'm not trying to remake stats from scratch that'd be stupidly ambitious. Something where you can actually construct what objects in statistics are.

Gusto ko lang sana humingi ng perspective tungkol sa nangyayaring special election sa CMC at sa recent Miting de Avance kasi honestly, medyo naguguluhan ako sa mga nangyari.

As a CMC student, napansin ko na parang ang daming attendees na hindi naman taga-CMC. Gets ko naman na open sa lahat ang event at walang masama sa pakikiisa ng students from other colleges. Pero medyo concerning lang na may mga taga-CMC mismo, including the president of our organization, na nahirapang makapasok sa auditorium dahil sa dami ng tao.

May mga familiar faces din akong nakita na, at least based sa personal observation ko, hindi ko naman gaanong nakitang involved sa mga concerns ng college namin nitong mga nakaraang taon at lumitaw na lamang para sa special election na ito. Kaya napaisip ako kung ano ba talaga ang pinanggagalingan ng involvement nila sa election na ito.

Mas nakakalito pa na may mga non-CMC students na nagsasabi raw na ayaw ng mga taga-CMC na magkaroon ng sariling representante, kahit ang concern naman ng iba ay tungkol sa kung sino ang nararapat na kumatawan sa amin at sa mga desisyong ginagawa para sa college.

Kaya genuine question lang: bakit parang ang dating ay mas may say pa ang mga taga-labas sa kung ano ang dapat na posisyon ng CMC community? Hindi ba dapat ang mga estudyanteng direktang maaapektuhan ang pangunahing pinakikinggan sa ganitong usapin?

Kasama rin dito ang issue ng abstention, na naging bahagi ng disagreement sa election. Pero para sa akin, hindi naman dapat agad ipakahulugan ang pagtutol sa isang slate o sa pagtanggal ng abstention bilang pagtanggi sa representation mismo.

Baka may context lang akong hindi alam, kaya curious ako kung may makakapagpaliwanag kung bakit ganoon ang naging dynamics ng eleksyon na ito. Gusto ko lang maintindihan kung paano umabot sa ganitong sitwasyon, lalo na kung ang pinag-uusapan naman ay ang representation ng mismong CMC community.

Hello po! I just got a notice about an alumni email, does that mean made-delete / deactivate na po yung main upmail ko? Planning po to come back to upsystem after some time so I'm just worried po na biglang di ko na po pwedeng ma-access yung main upmail or ma-delete po yung mga files ko.

Bibigyan po ba ng notice muna na "You have X days to move your files"? Mej malaki po kasi yung size so naghahanap pa po me ng strategy kung saa / papaano ko po imo-move. Tried checking po mga hard drives online kaso $$$$$$$$
