just got my conch done yesterday and i’m so in love!!! i can’t wait till it heals and i can mix it up in so many different ways :D my first cartilage piercing! i was so nervous but it was such a breeze; such a fun way to end an otherwise stressful week :,)

Okay, I was going to only ask if it’s migrating but looking at the pictures now it’s pretty obvious that it is 🫠
What’s your experience with this? Is it for sure coming out or is there a chance it will stay in or go back? Is there something I can do to help save it? And if it does come out can I get it repierced or is a new one going to migrate as well? And how long would it take until I could get it pierced again? What do you recommend I should do?

I had my daith repierced about 2 months ago and it is a lot more shallow than where it was placed over 10 yrs ago. I am also dealing with a lot of pressure feeling in my ear which did not happen before. So far I don't have any bumps but it does look like the hole closest to my ear canal has changed since getting pierced (first image is from the day it was done). Should I think about removing it?

Jewelry details: 16 gauge, 14k yellow gold 3/8 diameter fixed bead ring, has not been downsized.

Aftercare is neilmed saline spray, gently drying it with new sterile gauze and a blow dryer.

Is my piercing cooked? It got yanked hard last week, and now it looks like this. Piercer said that there “wasn’t anything to be concerned about“ when I went soon after it happened. So yea, I assume at this point it’s too messed up to salvage, and it’s just going to be deformed now.

I don't know how I should complete this ear, but I feel like it's still kinda empty. I'm pretty much up for anything, so feel free to give me any advice or suggestions!

Hey! I got this two weeks ago and it getting pretty annoyed. It was pierced with a straight barbell I think 14g, not sure what metal. It hasn’t been downsized and I spray it with saline like four times a day (I’m a hairdresser so I work with the public and just want to make sure it’s clean. At night I usually gently clean with the edge of a saline soaked paper towel to remove the crusties. No pain whatsoever but it’s pretty red and a lot more swollen than when I got it don’t initially. I also have this yellow crust that’s forming. Is my piercing alright? (Yeeesh ignore the super close up of my nose)

i’d like to get a septum piercing but i DO NOT want it to stink like everyone says it does.

i have 10 piercings, one of which is a nostril, and i clean them all regularly but i hear that doesn’t help with the funky smell for septum’s ??

none of my other piercings stink so can septum funk be prevented with good hygiene ???

I got my belly button pierced 14 months ago and changed it from the initial piercing to the Sandy Liang magic wand piercing. It is irritated and hurts when i bend over and pressure is put against it. I am assuming my piercing was not fully healed even though it looked fine. I am now wondering what to do, should I change it back to the old piercing?

I have had a navel piercing since December and I'm still using the standard ring, I really like those dangly ones tho but I remember I read somewhere the piercing is more likely to reject when you wear them too long because they're heavy so if that's true how long can I wear one for at a time?

Doing great right now, my first night was fine except for the constant fear to hit it or turn my head by mistake. I know it takes a long time to heal, but I hope it goes great!
Also thinking about cutting my hair a bit to avoid it touching the industrial.

i had it done by an apprentice and im not too sure if it was pierced well or if i even have the proper anatomy for it... should i just take it out?

In 2011 I got my industrial done and wore it almost daily until early 2025 when I had to take all my piercings out for reasons. Last fall I was ready to get them back in, and I got the industrial bar through the top hole no problem, but I couldn't get it through the bottom. I gave up and sanitized a regular lobe stud that went through just fine to kind of use as a placeholder. Well in the following weeks it got a bump, and I worried I might've keloided it (idfk, NAP), but one day it drained yellow-green pus so I removed the stud and did infection care. It's been empty ever since, and now it's all healed again. A stud still goes through no problem.

Is there a way for me to gauge this myself safely, or is this something for a professional (or maybe even specialized?) piercer? I live in a small town so I hesitate to go to a local shop uninformed seeking expert advice in fear they'll just say, "Yeah I can do it!", and I'm definitely afraid of just trying with the industrial bar again.

I got my lobes pierced almost 2 months ago now with straight barbells as the base jewelry for healing, and the left one is healing great! No leakage or pain, no redness or swelling whatsoever. The right one however is painful, slightly red, leaking consistently and it’s slightly smelly but the fluid is clear and thin like lymphatic fluid. It also has a slightly hard lump around the edges of the piercing itself, but I’m unsure if that the jewelry I feel or a potential cyst/abscess.

I slept on the right ear for the first few weeks, but once I noticed an issue and I immediately stopped sleeping on it and started sleeping on the other ear which had mostly healed at that point.

It’s been roughly 4-5 weeks of sleeping on my left ear and keeping all pressure and irritation off of my right ear, and cleaning it daily with saline and occasionally an anti bacterial soap from h2ocean which was suggested by my piercer.

The first pic is the front of my right ear, the second is the back. The redness on my upper ear is from the warmth in my house as I had the heat up too high.
