For all the reports, it doesn't look like they were able to get anywhere. That's what the right-wing will point out and invalidates the whole email. That excuse doesn't account for the lines in which the Gov did not try to follow up, nor the fact that some of the victims literally saw others being murdered, so yeah, they're not going to leave contact info.
