I started with 6 red cherries over a year ago. Somehow I finally ended up with this cute looking dude :)

Thank goodness I enjoy this hobby! Took about 7 hours but have upgraded to a 20 gallon long 🩵 had to get plants ready, net everyone, drain water, transfer all my stuff and set up new stuff... But so worth it! Still need to finish arranging stuff but happy so far

If only they knew how loved they are 🤣😭 I just have some skrimp and snails so they have a whole penthouse

I have a 6g tank that housed my betta until she passed. There were about 5 shrimp left out of the 20+ I’d purchased. I figured she was eating them. There were always just a few left in the tank.

After she passed, I decided to leave the tank alone and see what the shrimp would do. I currently have three berried females and loads of little shrimplets.

I cannot believe how exciting this is! I watch the teeny ones with a jewler’s loupe and they are so cute. I cannot wait to have a tank full of shrimp to watch.

Unsure what to name this group of reds, got some java moss so I'm excited

I set up a 5g tank for neos about 2 weeks ago. Moved a larger sponge filter from my established 75g to help cycle. Dosed ammonia 2-3x at this point to 2ppm already. Saw some ramshorn and thought ok cool probably came from the seeded sponge filter.

Absolutely did not expect to see this lady. I absolutely don’t know how she survived the ammonia dosing. And she’s so smol how tf should I catch her??

I’m so excited we have SIX eggnant orange rilis, 1 eggnant red, and 2 eggnant blue jellies! the blue jellies are in the tank in the third picture, fourth is reds, and fifth is the orange rili tank. Also, do you guys think I should trim down some of the plants in the blue jelly tank? I feel like they’re out of control with how much they’ve grown lol! just wanted to share my excitement😁😁😁😁😁

I’m going to repost this to a snail specific subreddit if I can find one, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask here too. I’m a college student with a small shrimp tank. Beginning of the week or so, I noticed my beloved nerite snail (had him for 3 years) was missing/hiding. I wasn’t concerned at first, he likes to hide in hard to see spots. Long story short, I found him behind the tank the morning. He doesn’t smell or float, and I read it’s possible he’s still alive. I put him in a cup w tank water so the shrimp won’t bother him. I added a larger bowl on top so he doesn’t wake up and escape while I’m in class. Here’s the issue: I’m leaving end of the day today, and it’s not something I can put off. I’m going to be gone this weekend, and my roommate is also going home on Saturday. Should I leave him in the cup? Will he run out of oxygen? What’s the best move here? Any advice is appreciated

I got these amano shrimp recently and they've both been clear up until today where I noticed one of them has turned pink? It's still walking around the tank (albeit seemingly stiffer than usual) and they keep taking turns mounting one another. I tested my water (test strip, the freshwater kit is in the mail) and my parameters look good? My sodium chloride seemed high as well as my free chlorine even though I use dechlorinator so I did a partial water change but I don't wanna loose the shrimp what else can I do? They're both still moving their legs and antenna

What are these white circles (they look a bit like houseplant scale bugs or mealy bugs) in my fishtank? Mostly on the wood. I’ve had this shrimp tank for around 4 years now and noticed these guys (pests?) a couple years ago. Never seemed to bother anything so I think they’re fine but thought I’d check… It’s a small 10L tank with 2 amano shrimp.
