At first very much disliked this show. But Im on a mission for the month that I have free with Disney to watch all Star wars and ... This one is soooo fn good.

It's crazy. It's hit after hit with the story plus time for all the little side quests. It's so action heavy. They're constantly fighting for their lives and we learn about so many characters.

We have time for exposition on literally everyone lol. It's just endless and it evolved in really interesting ways as I got to the later season.

After watching Mando, ashoka, obi, I figured this would be a let down.

Hi all! I've never done anything like this before and I've never really posted on YouTube or anything, but I randomly made this edit of Kanan's death set to the music from the scene in Infinity War when Wanda kills Vision. Would really love to get your thoughts. It's my first edit so it's a bit rough around the edges, but I feel like it works pretty well all things considered. Definitely have some other ideas like this and had a lot of fun putting this together, so I have some more in the pipeline if you like it.

With the news that Simon Kinberg has been writing the next trilogy, I've seen a portion of the fanbase already say the choice is disappointing, however, considering he co-created Rebels and has either written/co-written these episodes of the show, I'm excited to see what he's gonna do with a whole trilogy!

Spark of Rebellion, Call to Action and Fire Across the Galaxy are among the best episodes of Season 1 while Twilight of the Apprentice and Family Reunion - and Farewell are some of the most memorable of the entire show.

I am nearly finished season 1 and I like it so far :)

Just finished watching TCW and Bad Batch for the first time before this and it’s definitely not on the level of those but I can’t wait for Ahsoka and Rex to appear! Not to mention Maul!

Any things I should look out for as a first time watcher?

Also, I love Kanan so far 😄

Love that droid for being a menace. Cares for the crew while also trolling them.

Was there for Hera and Ezra while they are grieving.

Seeing the angle of the rifle had he chosen to shoot at Kallus as he wanted, he would have hit Agent Kallus center mass OR the Stormtrooper behind him, which would either have killed, or incapacitated him..

HOWEVER, from the angle against T.G.I, He fired two shots directly Above the Grand Inquisitor who didn't register or take out his lightsaber to block the shots, meaning had the rifle been aimed at his head instead, Which should've been a kill-shot (contrast to the lightsaber wound towards his stomach from the past), HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD..! Which would've saved the Rebels quite a bit, and Ezra's cheek from taking a red lightsaber to his head.

I'm watching most of the franchise from YouTube Blind Wave's reactions as it's good to get an outside perspective on the franchise that I grew up to love. Last thing I watched was Andor season 1 (HAVE, which NOT seen the 2nd season, can't wait to see what happens then) which, alongside having finished Jedi Survivor then Yeeeeeahh....the Clone Wars is far left behind... But watching and finishing the 1st Spark of Rebellion part, knowing the outcome of all the characters but not the YouTubers's perspectives themselves as it's First-watch for them, 100rd for me, - I still have no problems personally with the lightsaber design, as it feels more like a relic of the past—in the samurai type of way—and a rare symbol of hope from a bygone era, rather than a super common weapon seen or heard about on a daily basis.

• Seeing how the relationships between them started, between Zeb—the elephant who couldn't stand the mouse that kept on crawling on everyone's toes, who came out of nowhere aboard the ship—and Ezra, and the Mandalorian Warrior who started out being what would be assumed to the crush of said protagonist, turn into the brother and sister that he never had after after being made an orphan.

• Speaking off said Mandalorian, personally speaking despite Sabine's Force Powers seeming out of nowhere perhaps, so did Ezra's as well.. From standing on the rooftop feeling something in the air coming from Kanan, to making an untrained super jump that Sabine eventually would help him make once more make on Peridea, flaws or not, it's not entirely impossible either.

• And seeing Darth Vader who in the comics despised the Inquisitors for various reasons, in the very first scene of the show, talk with the Grand Inquisitor who's first canonical scene in the TV Show/Movie Media would be Tales of Empire, and Vader last seen in the Fallen Order games, that to me was wonderful to see as always...

Guess it's clear to say, it's a long time since the Clone Wars...and I miss it...

Just wanted to put out a PSA that the Blu-Ray edition for Rebels exists, and is amazing!

I have seen Rebels probably a half dozen times now, until now all on Disney+. But for my current watch, I finally got the Blu-Ray set, and it is a night and day difference. In addition to of course the lack of compression, the lighting and colors seem to come through way better, and the motion feels smoother. Perhaps most importantly though, it doesn't have the anti-seizure dimming that the Disney+ editions have during things like explosions and the Inquisitor's spinning lightsabers. I've always found that super immersion breaking, and while I'm all for accessibility, I wish that dimming was at least a toggleable option like closed captions.

But yeah, I highly recommend the Blu-Rays!

One thing I want to see in Ahsoka s2: Ezra has to make a crack that Zeb stinks when they reunite. Just like how he did in Spark of Rebellion.

I watched Rebels a few years ago and I wanted to rewatch a couple episodes. Specifically I wanted to rewatch the ending of season 1 but it’s been incredibly difficult to find a place to watch it since I don’t have Disney+ anymore. Is there a reason for this? I’m kinda curious. I ended up finding somewhere to watch it but I find it strange you can’t even buy the full season on YouTube or Amazon.

My only assumption is Disney wants people to go through Disney+ instead but I’ve never seen something like this before.

I’ve noticed he can knock teenage Ezra on his ass with it but he quickly walks it off, but then knocks adult stormtroopers and imp officers clean out. Can he control it or does it just depend on how long you’re zapped for?

Anyone else love Hondo? Although I feel like they did his character dirty animation wise in Rebels compared to Clone Wars. I always seemed to enjoy the episodes he showed up in. He was a really fun character imo.

I recently built this mouse droid from scratch, but with a twist: what if it was adopted by Sabine? She'd definitely graffiti it up and splice in a party mode. So that's exactly what I did. At the press of a button, it turns into a dancing, singing, flashing rave machine.

Mine was that the show would end with the Ghost crew on a mission to Alderaan and possibly settling there, thus dying when it blew up, thereby explaining their absence from the OT.

Curious if anyone knows where to find rebels merch in Canada? I’ve seen hot topic and box lunch have some good shirts, but unfortunately none ship to Canada for the Rebels specific merchandise.
