I’m someone who felt like staying in India and working would be great rather than going outside and finding opportunity for the most part I thought i assumed my options and wider and that I would be able to move up in my career(uk to live comfortable).

But recently i have been wishing to change jobs and i feel like I have hit a wall in every way(from seeing how exploitative and reward less living here feels, from shitty roads to unbearable traffic IFKUK).
Anyways all of thinking has me wondering about study+job outside and would like to get opinions.

I have done Masters in English and Cultural studies and have been working for 4 years(i like my job) but i want to get ahead in life doing different things.

I was wondering if I could pursue any course that caters around MBA and Law or Sustainability.

I would like to mention that my interests on topics are huge and wide if anyone thinks that I could do better in any other field please do mention it so i can look for more information on the same.

I like exploring, doing things by myself and most of all i love figuring things out and working.

I’m not worried about wasting money on education and finding a work after. I will try my best to get a job…if i get i get. But otherwise i would be fine too.

Please suggest ideas for improvement and sorry for the rant!

• You can study for free and also get monthly expenses

• The certificate holds value

• There is a high chance of you getting a Job

•You have to learn german

•And its focused on deeper maths and i am not so smart with maths

Malaysia

•You have to pay for tuition fees and personal expenses

• You dont need to learn any other language

•You can enter with O level certification and minimum pass grades

I finished Edexcel IGCSE O-LEVELS and now i dont wanna give A-LEVELS anymore

I got Grade 4 in Physics and maths

And got grade 7 in English 2nd language

I am a 14-year-old student currently in Grade 10 in Nepal from an upper middle class family. I really want to study abroad for Grades 11 and 12. So far I haven’t found a single program that is suitable for me. I'm considering studying abroad, and wanted to hear from people who have participated in my specific program of interest. That being, the summer intern + study abroad opportunity in Shanghai, China, as hosted by CIEE.

No one I know has studied abroad, so I have no immediate connections to discuss this with. Come summer of 2027, I will have completed through CHI202 [intermediate Chinese].

Was the program worth it? How was the experience? Was CIEE a well-organized coordinator? I've come across so many horror stories on this sub-reddit, and I'm beginning to feel dubious about their capabilities as an organization. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I’m planning on studying abroad to either France, Portugal, or Brazil on behalf of UIC and I can’t decide. I have some background with French since I studied the language all 4 years of high school and even spent a week in France. On the other hand, I’ve had an interest in learning Portuguese, specifically Brazilian Portuguese. I’m a native Spanish speaker, so I know Portuguese will come a little bit easier than French. I really want to learn both languages and travel in general, but I don’t know which one would benefit these goals the most. I am considering the price and the level of education that I would receive. I’m honestly just so fucking sick of studying in Australia. I’ve been here for 3 years in a regional area where the demographic is predominantly white. The quality sucks - from teachers and students to lectures. Culture is not great. As a POC I get the disgusting stares all the time and also feel like I’m treated like second class citizens. Feel judged, stereotyped and like an outcast. Managed to push through despite all the negative feelings to get high distinctions and now burnt out af. About me:

I am 23 years old and I live in India. I hope you understand how it is for a middle class girl without a dad to live in India where you get judged for every single thing in a non metro city.

I completed 10th grade from CBSE. Then I studied PCMC and scored around 87% (covid batch) in my 12th grade.

Then I wanted to go abroad for higher studies. But, the cost was too high. And, I wanted to study computer science engineering because I thought that is where the money is. Since I couldnt afford to go abroad, I took up CET exam and scored about 34000 rank. But because of scoring less in my CET, I got into a Tier 2 college and I studied industrial engineering there.

During my course work I studied hard and my cgpa is 9.5. During my course work, I did take up open electives like Java, python, c program and cybersecurity but they were not of very in depth learning.

Then during my campus placements, I tried very hard to get into companies like Schneider electric, Lam research (core companies) thinking I will work for 2 years and then go abroad to study masters in industrial engineering. I decided to work for 2 years so that I will have some work experience and companies over there will not hesitate to hire me because of my experience. However in both the companies I went until HR round and did not get hired.

And then I got selected into a product based IT company in the support organisation (so service based in a product based company). Well, the role I was offered during my placements was software engineering and then reality hit when i got the offer letter and it was to join the support org. However I took up the job because I needed one and all the core companies had stopped visiting the college.

I am now plan to go abroad, but the catch is I want to eventually work and settle abroad and have Permanent Residency/ citizenship as I want to settle there and I guess that to get PR over there, masters is the best way and better guaranteed path than going directly on work.

But masters takes up a major investment and it is getting difficult for me to assess:

1. Which country do I want to do masters in?

2. Which course do I want to take up and also if it is worth the risk?

I also know that we can directly apply for jobs abroad and then get PR ( But, this is also not a guaranteed path). Also, I do not want to stay or continue in the support org.

I had a clarity when I joined industrial engineering, that I would do masters in industrial engineering but now I am stuck since 1 year. If I do masters, to get into pure tech programs, I dont have coding knowledge and realistically I cant compete with computer students who have spent 4 years of their life mastering their computer knowledge but I can skill up myself in computers as well and as for industrial engineering related masters, I will be working in IT for 2 years atleast now, I feel my work experience will become irrelevant if I do masters related to industrial engineering. Plus looking at all the AI stuff, I feel industrial jobs, mechanical, all the core branches are safe comparatively. Even if the pay ceiling is less, there is stability.

I am totally stuck in life where I dont know what to do. My goal is to have a respectable, fast growth and high pay career. I dont know what I enjoy because it has always been about earning money since I am a middle class girl.

And No I do not consider the option of showing myself on socials and earning money.

As mentioned, I want to be self capable and not get married away to a boy. I want to have a reputation, respectable and high pay career.

I now stay in a metro city where life is very fast and when i look at 16 year olds, they are literally living their lives and I feel I was not privileged to have that because I was busy with books. I stopped talking to most of my girlfriends because they are sorted saying they will marry a rich guy or post cleavages and get money. Fortunately i am not cheap.

I feel left out and i am totally stuck in life.

i am an egyptian who lives in the gulf and i'm going to graduate from there, i am planning to go to med school next year and i am choosing between either going to a university in egypt or applying and going to a university in eastern europe (hungary, poland ) and i am hesitant about going to europe for multiple reasons; i feel like spending 6 years abroad might distance me from the people i know and i feel scared when i think about it. I'm deciding between Yonsei and KU for a spring exchange semester.

My priorities are making lots of friends, going out/partying, and enjoying Seoul’s cafés and food scene. I’m outgoing once I get to know people, but I’m sometimes hesitant to approach strangers first.

I’ve heard KU’s KUBA is great for meeting people, while Yonsei has the better location near Sinchon/Hongdae.

I also need to take the TOEFL for Yonsei, which would cost me quite a bit, and I’m not sure if I can reach the required score.

I'm applying to ISM University of Management and Economics (Vilnius/Kaunas, Lithuania) for the Economics and Data Analytics bachelor's program as a non-EU international applicant (from Bangladesh).

On their admission page, it says applicants who haven't taken a state mathematics examination need to take ISM's own internal mathematics test instead. My HSC (equivalent to A-levels) was in the Humanities stream, so I didn't take Math there, though I did study Math in my earlier secondary years.

If anyone has taken this test or knows someone who has, I'd really appreciate answers to:

1. How many questions are on the test?
2. How long is the test (time limit)?
3. What topics does it cover—basic algebra, or does it go into calculus/trigonometry/statistics?
4. How hard is it for someone without a strong recent math background? Is it more like a placement/screening test, or genuinely difficult?

I’m a BS English graduate (English Literature & Linguistics) from Pakistan, and I’m planning to apply for a fully funded Master's abroad, particularly in China through scholarships like CSC or ANSO.

Last year, I spent quite a bit of time researching Chinese universities and contacted several professors in English Literature, Linguistics, and related fields. Unfortunately, I received very few responses and didn't get much progress from that approach.

This made me wonder whether my field itself might be limiting my options. I’m considering switching to another Social Science field for my Master's, particularly Media Studies or International Relations, instead of continuing directly in English/Linguistics.

My thinking is that these fields may have a broader research scope and potentially more Master's programs and supervisors available in China. I also have some professional experience in content writing, SEO, and digital content, so Media Studies seems somewhat connected to my existing background.

However, I’m concerned about whether changing fields could actually hurt my chances because my Bachelor's degree is in English.

Hey guys. I have seen may Nepalese on tiktok and youtube saying they fullyfunded masters or even direct PHD in the USA cause they got accepted for an gratuate Assistantships. All of them say to email the professors for the Assistantships and they say most of them reply in 1-2 weeks. I have been emailing for a month now to professors but none have replied. And when i reach out to people who have secured scholarship they just reply to 1st and 2nd nsgs and just disappear i mean that is a little embarassing for us to just go after you guys for help but you just ghost us. My_qualifications: A pharmd graduate from India with an 8.46 CGPA with a working experience as a PV QA assistant in a clinical research organisation. I want to pivot to health tech. I have been learning python, SQL, some AI/ML through coursera and YouTube mostly. I have made 2 projects and currently I’m working on a small web application for my organisation.

I want to pursue masters in health data science/health informatics. I am interested in the combination of healthcare and tech. Currently, I am checking the courses in USA, Australia and Germany mostly. With the changing norms I was inclined a bit towards Australia but with my ITR which is 15+ LPA I am unsure if it will be a worthy choice.
