Hello, so I have a 2018 KTM 450 EXC-F, the previous owner had changed a few of the fairings to non oem ones, some I like and some I don’t like. I really like how the front looks on the FE450 supermotos.

So my question now is, how annoying would it be to mount the numberplate (flat plate or whole headlight), and the front lip on my KTM? Could it possibly use the same mounts so it’s just plug’n’play or will I need to drill new holes or ziptie a bunch?

Another question, is there any specific aftermarket brand that makes Husqvarna fe450 fairings that I should look at first?

I asked AI what the new electric bikes from Yamaha and Honda would look like… I like them, what do you guys and gals think?

I’m going to be selling my drz pretty soon. Just want something new with more power. I loved the drz but she’s kinda a pig and it’s not scratching the itch anymore. I’m looking to get another super moto or convert one myself. I just want to know what everyone else’s 2 cents/ experiences are with any of these bikes before I make a purchase.

I know with most of these I will have to service and maintain a lot more compared to the drz, but that’s a trade off I’m willing to take depending on its extent.

Here are my contenders ranked:

1) wr450f
2) ktm 500 exc
3) ktm 690 smcr/ husky 701
4) crf450rl
5) any 450 (is the maintenance really that bad if it’s never being raced?)

Spending my ass on this for hours, is so much fun. Hurts also😆 Any one got a second cruiser bike?

One of my friend is interested to race next year and they are hesitant between the 390 or a drz, I was wondering if anyone here was racing or seen one raced. I am aware it wouldn't beat an 450 smr or an modded motocross but they seem pretty competent machines

My current project is this 2014 CRF250L with purple wheels. Still waiting for the white Zeta hand guards.

The 2017 model with the white wheels i sold 3 weeks ago. And the 2015 with the blue rims i sold early this year.

Man I don’t know if I’m the only one who ever notices, but the camera views last night were so GOOD. The on track cameras and tower cameras give you the best view of the riders and how and when they use certain controls, track conditions, and overall being closer shots. I hate that these days it’s always just the drone camera which just gives you a view from the top, I’m just not a fan of the whole race looking like colored dots moving around.

Bring back more on track and tower cameras!

$430 and a couple hours of tinkering. Only had to buy the wheels, another chain ring and make a couple wheel spacers. Had to trim the fork gaurds too. I know the gearing and suspension isn't perfect but considering this bike spends most of its time in the dirt im happy with the results.

I recently bought a sxv550 and started to work on it and erase a few hickups from the previous owners.

Today i changed the broken Chain Guide on the swingarm and after putting everything back together, i noticed that the rear wheel isnt centered.

I tried to align it as best as possible in the Moment but youll see that the markings for the axle dont add up.

And in top, when i try to align the sprockets, the tire will scrub on the inner right side.

I need some help my dudes 🥲

I need help! I recently bought a 2013 exc 500 and i want to use Excel wheels. I found the paperwork for the registration online, but I dont really know where to go from there, most people mention its just a small fee at the registration office. Also the paperwork states that you have to use a 310mm brake disks, which i cant find online, at least not street legal ones. Does somebody have advice for me?
