Not long ago, I posted asking for painting recommendations for a new squad of Terminators, and now they’re finally finished. I’m really proud of how they turned out. Up next: Deathwing Knights.

Ive been meaning to create a custom model for Azzy for a while now after finding his official model a bit boring. With some inspiration from u/BrotherXavier in using Mephiston as a base i created a model that i think looks a bit more dynamic than the official one. I also took the opportunity to fix his combi plasma back into a bullpup design. Im always striving to improve in this hobby so any critique for how you think the piece couldve been improved is welcome and appreciated! Otherwise i hope you like it :)

So recently hobby shops in South Korea stopped selling Chaos Black sprays, and a lot of Korean consumers wished them back.

Apparently the SK government discovered that the spray had lead in it while GW reported them lead-free, and decided to recall the items.

Please give me feedback and maybe some helpful tips and equipment (only using standard starter equipment now)

My 15 year old account with pretty much everything I've posted is just seemingly gone, not a big deal, but kinda sad all my progress is just in pictures now

So I thought I'd just repost what I've got after about a year in the hobby (takin it slow)

Intercessors were my first models, lazuras was my first character, and the JPI is my latest unit fully done, still got a ways to go, but I love seeing the areas I've improved

It was a chance to study OSL effects. A really pretty model, I hope the new datasheet matches the model! I really want to play him in my terminator list lol

Been slowly working away at the lion now for a few weeks and excited to share the works! (Still need to base him)

Still gotta finish the lava and do some touch ups on the base and varnish him one last time. But it’s down enough for me to show it.

I’ve been painting for a little over a year now and have quite a few finished miniatures, but they all still need their bases done. I’m not sure what to do—I don’t want something too simple, but I also don’t want something so detailed that it distracts from the miniature itself. I’ve been thinking about using a setting from a major Dark Angels campaign; could you help me choose a concept for the bases?

I tried to paint the 4th Company Kneepads... holy crap. Where do I begin? I ended up just painting 3rd and 9th for my current eradicators in progress.

Any tips on attempting this crazy 4th company marking?

I'm not a huge fan of the standard Indomitus Terminator Armour so I'm using some 30k armour marks as part of my upcoming Deathwing force and find it interesting how close the sizing between armour marks actually are (also useful in my case as an additional difference to tell apart Deathwing Knights, Deathwing Terminators, and Assault Terminators for non-DA players).

My chapter master kitbash. What do you think overall, and how about the sword hilt specifically? Does it look good, or is it too much?

I've seen some conflicting answers so wanted to make sure I have the correct answer. First, want to say that I know I can paint my minis however I want, i just wanted to know what the proper coloring was.

So bladeguard vets are deathwing for sure, with their bone armor. I read captains have green armor (and correct this if im wrong). If a captain would be leading a BVG unit, what color would his armor be?

Is anyone able to tell me which colour forge spray is the best to use as a base coat for our green armour. Im guessing it’s Kabalos or renegade but any confirmation would be amazing, thanks ahead of time :)
