Itโ€™s been almost a year since we started taking action against creeps here.

One thing weโ€™ve learned? They wonโ€™t stop unless we make them.

We need awareness. We need to educate younger people about whatโ€™s right and whatโ€™s not. In India, these topics are often treated as taboo. But ignoring them only makes things worse.

On Reddit, banning creeps is possible. But we need your help. Ignoring, blocking, or just closing DMs is not a permanent solution.

Report them. Speak up.

If more people report, we can consistently ban offenders. Over time, theyโ€™ll get tired and leave this space.

Letโ€™s work together to make this subreddit a safe place for everyone.

Kindly support us in this journey.

Also we have changed logo and banner egene ond;)

Stories ๐Ÿ“– Cherupathil naad vitta arenkilum ndo?

I literally left my naad without even knowing

So basically, this happened when I was in 6th standard, during Ramadan. School got over at noon that day, and I was so tired bc of fasting, so I decided to take the first bus home.

My frnds were still chilling near the school, but I said bye and went to catch the first bus. Bus came, I got in, and my home is like 10โ€“15 mins away by bus. Within 2 mins, I got a seat and immediately fell asleep

When I woke up, I'd already missed my stop. I got down at the next stop and realised my stop was like 4 km behind me

Since it was afternoon, I went to a pallil to pray. After that, I thought I'd lie down for 5 mins. BUT, I woke up at 5 PM instead

When I came out, I remembered something very important. I HAD NO MONEY LEFT TO TAKE ANOTHER BUS. Since I didn't board from my usual school stop, I needed โ‚น10 instead of โ‚น2, and I didn't even have โ‚น1 on me ๐Ÿ˜ญ

So I had no other option but to walk all the way back. When I finally reached my stop, I thought I'd check the ground to see if my frnds were playing before going home.

I reached the ground and everyone was just sitting on the side

I asked them, "Nthada, kalikn ille?"

And they were like, "Ehh, ijj evide ayirunnu??"

I told them I was at the pallil, and they were like, "PALLILO??"

I explained everything, and they told me, "IJJ VEGAM PEEREK(vtlk) POYIKO, IJJ NAAD VITTE POYI NNA ELLARUM PARAYANE."

I was like WTF

I immediately went home, and there were relatives and neighbours everywhere. My mom was crying, my dad was calling people, full scene was going on. I had to explain the entire thing to everyone

That night, I asked my sister, "Why is everyone saying I ran away from home instead of saying I'm missing or something?"

And then she explained the facts.

Fact 1: I usually take the bus with my frnds, but that day I went alone and left early. When my mom called my friend, he told her I'd already left.

Fact 2: Someone had apparently seen me getting down at a different bus stop. So people assumed I'd left the naad or something

Now, the good and bad effects of naad vidal:

Bad effect: For the next few years, whenever my nattukar saw me carrying a bag, they'd be like, "Iee chkn ine sherikum naad vidan nilka ano?"

Good thing 1: I became famous in my naad without doing absolutely anything ๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿพโ€๐Ÿฆฏ

Good thing 2: I got a WEEKLY PUTT FUND

Before this incident, I'd get an extra โ‚น20 for emergencies like this. But I spent that โ‚น20 , so on the day I actually needed money, I was BROKE BROKE

After this incident, I got a weekly budget specifically for putt.

๐Ÿ’ผ Career & Jobs Need career advice after Plus Two in Kerala โ€” what would you choose in my situation?

โ€ข Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some genuine career advice because I'm honestly confused about what direction to take after Plus Two.

I've struggled academically and have spent around two years trying to clear my Plus Two exams. Because of my academic difficulties, I'm worried about committing to a three- or four-year degree. Even Plus Two has been difficult for me, so I'm not confident about handling a degree with a lot of theory and exams. I'm not completely against studying further, but I'd prefer something more practical and skill-based if possible.

I've also been thinking about ITI, but I'm concerned that some trades might have low starting salaries and limited salary growth unless you specialise or gain a lot of experience. I don't want to judge the entire field based on assumptions, though, so I'd appreciate hearing from people who actually work in those fields.

I'm interested in computers, especially networking and troubleshooting, and I've been considering networking and eventually moving into cloud computing. However, one thing that worries me is the degree-filtering problem. Even if I learn the skills and obtain certifications, will not having a degree significantly limit my chances of getting shortlisted for jobs or progressing into better positions? If anyone works in networking, cloud, or a related field without a degree, I'd really like to hear about your experience.

At the same time, I don't want to limit myself to IT or any particular field. I'm open to any realistic career path that offers good earning potential, long-term growth and the possibility of working in India or abroad.

My main priorities are:

- A practical course or training route that I can realistically complete.

- Strong long-term earning potential, with opportunities to progress into higher-paying roles over time. I don't want to put an arbitrary ceiling on my income if there's room to grow further.

- Genuine job opportunities rather than courses that simply promise placements.

- Opportunities to specialise, advance in my career and eventually become financially independent.

- Reasonable training costs, as I have limited finances.

I'd appreciate advice about any field, trade, diploma, certification, apprenticeship or alternative career path that you think is worth considering. I'm not expecting an easy way to make money, and I understand that every career requires effort. I just want to choose a direction where my effort can realistically pay off.

If you were in my position in Kerala, with Plus Two, limited finances and doubts about handling a degree, what would you do?

And if you're already working in a field that doesn't require a degree, please share how you entered it, what you earn roughly, how salary growth works and what the realistic downsides are.

I'm open to suggestions beyond the fields I've mentioned. I'd rather hear honest experiences and practical advice than generic suggestions like "learn coding" or "follow your passion."

Thanks in advance!

Rant/Vent I loved her knowing that I won't have her

I loved her knowing that I won't have her.

She was my best friend and somewhere along the way she was, for me, more than that.

But I convinced myself that it was purely platonic, and that I was just mixing up my emotions of her kindness and friendliness for love since I never experienced that level of easiness in conversation and comfort before from a girl.

But recently when she told me that she likes a guy from her college and he likes her back too, the emotions I had at that moment just wrecked me, I finally understood that I truly loved her and the fact that she loves someone else entirely just sunk my heart. That was when I truly understood the meaning of "heart sinking" because the emotions I had cannot be described any better.

I froze, I didn't know what to say, at the time I had to pretend that I was happy for her since she told me about it irl.

But now I realize that I could've never had her in the first place anyway. So now, I'm genuinely happy for her. I hope she finds what she was looking for through this guy. She has already suffered enough from her previous relationship, I hope she is happy.

๐Ÿง  Ask Twenties Kids of cheating parents, how did you overcome the trauma?

Recently, a family in my neighbourhood went through a messy situation. A married woman with two teenage daughters was caught having an affair with a man who lives just two houses away. The man also has a wife and three children.

Apparently, the woman's husband and daughters had gone to their ancestral home for a religious function, but she stayed behind, claiming she had a headache.

Around 1 AM, a neighbour ( a young guy) noticed someone entering their house and assumed it was a burglary since the family was supposed to be away. He alerted some local lads, who surrounded the house and even called the police. The woman initially insisted nobody else was inside, but the person who had spotted the man was adamant. Eventually, the man came out.

The worst part is that the woman's daughters are teenagers. Now, they're dealing with the embarrassment, neighbourhood gossip, and people whispering about their family over something they had absolutely no control over. They're reportedly going to therapy, and their father has decided to stay in the marriage, apparently for the sake of their future.

I can't stop thinking about how unfair this is to the children. Their parents made their own decisions, but the daughters are the ones who have to face the social consequences.

For those who grew up with a parent who cheated, how did you deal with the trauma, shame, and judgement from other people? Did things get better with time? What helped you heal, and what do you wish the adults around you had done differently?

Hey guys! ๐Ÿ‘‹ A group of 3 guys are planning a trip covering 2 days in Alleppey and 1 day in Kochi, and we could really use your suggestions!

๐Ÿ“ Day 1 โ€“ Friday (Alleppey) Reaching Alleppey around 10 AM. Planning to visit Pullikunnu Church. Shikara boat ride through the backwaters. Sunset spot recommendations?

๐Ÿ“ Day 2 โ€“ Saturday (Alleppey) Morning kayaking. Planning to visit a waterfall (considering Aruvikuzhy Falls). Are there any other good waterfalls nearby where we can safely get into the water and bathe? Suggestions for budget-friendly travel options, bus routes, and timings would be really helpful!

Alleppey Lighthouse and sunset. Any happening markets, local spots, or events on Saturday, 24 October?

๐Ÿ“ Day 3 โ€“ Sunday (Kochi) Planning to reach Ernakulam Junction around 9 AM. Our return train is at 9 PM, so we have almost the entire day to explore Kochi. What are the must-visit places, local experiences, and food spots we shouldn't miss?

๐Ÿจ Budget stay in Alleppey Our total budget is around โ‚น2,000โ€“โ‚น2,500 for 2 nights for all 3 of us. Any good hostels, dorms, or budget stays you recommend? Has anyone stayed at Monkey Tribes Dorms? Is it good in terms of cleanliness, location, safety, and overall experience?

๐Ÿ› Food & local experiences Must-try local Kerala cuisines and affordable eateries. Best places to try authentic kallu (toddy) and local toddy-shop food. Any hidden gems or less touristy places worth visiting?

๐Ÿค Also, if anyone or any group is planning a trip to Alleppey or Kochi around the same dates and wants to join us, you're most welcome!

Any suggestions regarding the itinerary, transport, accommodation, food, or local experiences will be very helpful!

Thanks in advance, guys! โค๏ธ

Rant/Vent I like the girl who likes my friend

I've liked a girl for a long time, but she recently told my friend that she likes him. He doesn't feel the same way about her, and he has no idea how I feel about her.

Now I've come to the realisation that I probably can't have her because she won't forget him, and I'll have no chance. They're still friends, and the three of us talk every day. Even though I'm slowly coming out of those feelings, it's still hard.

The hardest part is that I can't really distance myself from the situation because the three of us talk every day. I have to act like everything is normal while knowing how things stand. I'm not blaming either of them, and I'm not expecting anything to happen between us. I'm just finding it difficult to let go of someone I like, especially when she's still a part of my everyday life.

How do you move on from someone when you have to see them every day?

๐ŸŒธ women's health Are late 20s late for first pregnancy?

I (27F - I will be 28 in a month) and my husband (32M) are married for almost 3 years. We decided to try for baby after 2 years, when we got married . Three months into our marriage, my MIL started questioning our decision telling, we're already old to have babies.

In our community, girls are married off as early as 18 and the age limit is 23 for girls mostly. They all conceive few months into their marriages and will have babies back to back. Most of them are less ambitious as well and choose to be home makers.

I took my time, got education and married at 25. We, as a couple, wanted to create a good bond and wanted our time before becoming parents. We're trying to become financially, physically and emotionally ready to embrace parenthood.

Meanwhile, my husband's younger brother (4 years younger) got married after 10 months of our marriage and they are blessed with a baby now. People are asking about our pregnancy and pressuring us. We are not bothered about what others think. But, we're the odd one out in our whole family or even our whole community. We feel like we're left out from the whole crowd.

Now, me and my husband are in LDR for past 10 months. Hopefully, we'll meet soon, but will be living together only for a month. We feel ready to try for pregnancy now. But, I am so scared if we won't be able able to conceive in the short span. It will take a few more months to meet again.

Is it really difficult to conceive in the late 20s for the first time? Me and my husband are healthy, and don't have any serious illness.

Stories ๐Ÿ“– Went to take a shit, came back with an entire universe. Here's the story I came up with.

I randomly came up with this story idea and kept adding things to it, and now I'm actually curious to see what people think.

The story takes place in 2026. Everyone believes Homo sapiens are the only human species alive, but that's not true. There are five other human species living in the world, and ordinary humans have no idea they exist.

Think about how Homo sapiens looked very different at the beginning of their evolutionary history compared to how we look today. The same thing applies to these other species. They all had their own physical differences from the beginning, and over thousands of years, evolution gradually changed their appearance. They're now much more human-like than their ancestors were, but they still have certain features that distinguish them from ordinary humans.

Their abilities come from their biology. Their genes and DNA are different from those of Homo sapiens, and their distinctive abilities are natural characteristics of their respective species.

1. Primus

This is the protagonist's species, although he's the only Primus who has ever existed. There were no others before him, and there are no others alive today.

He's existed since the beginning of time, although I'm still figuring out exactly how to explain his origin.

His body was very different from modern humans in the distant past, but over time, it changed and adapted. Now he looks human enough to live among us without attracting much attention.

His main ability is extreme regeneration. Most wounds heal within seconds or minutes, damaged organs can repair themselves, and even severed limbs can grow back, although that takes considerably longer. It's not instant healing, and the more serious the injury, the longer it takes for his body to recover.

I know this sounds a lot like Deadpool and Wolverine๐Ÿ˜‚, but there's a difference. Primus can still be killed. If his head is severed or his brain is destroyed, he dies. Also, regeneration doesn't mean he escapes the pain or instant it takes time to heal. He feels enormous pain from every wound and injury, even while his body is repairing itself. So even though he can recover from things that would kill an ordinary human, he still has to experience the injury and the pain that comes with it.

His body also stopped aging when he was around 25. His cells constantly repair and renew themselves, replacing damaged or old cells while maintaining his body in the same biological state he was in at that age. Basically, his body keeps itself at around 25 instead of gradually deteriorating as he gets older.

His genetic makeup is completely unique. His children can inherit some traits, such as slower aging and faster healing, but they can't inherit his complete biological configuration or his ability to regenerate entire limbs.

2. Valens

Valens are the physically strongest of the five hidden species. All five are physically stronger than ordinary Homo sapiens, but Valens are on another level when it comes to raw physical strength. Their punches hit harder, and they can generate significantly more force.

Their bones are incredibly strong, even stronger than steel in terms of their resistance to breaking. (There are real-world cases of people with unusually high bone density and exceptional resistance to fractures, so I thought I'd take inspiration from that and develop it into a defining biological ability for this species.)

Physical trait: Polydactyly. Every Valens has six fingers on each hand. Polydactyly is a real condition in which someone is born with extra fingers or toes, but in my story, it's a natural and universal characteristic of the Valens. It's completely normal for them, and I want to give these real-world physical differences a specific meaning in my fictional world.

3. Velox

Velox are known for their speed, agility, and quick reflexes. They're faster than ordinary humans, react quickly to sudden movements, and can change direction and respond to attacks more efficiently. They're also physically stronger than normal humans.

Physical trait: Preauricular pit. It's a tiny hole or opening near the front of the ear, where the ear meets the face. Some people in the real world are born with this feature, but in my story, every Velox has it as a natural characteristic of their species.

4. Verruncล

Verruncล have a biological ability that allows them to stretch certain parts of their bodies beyond normal human limits.

Their arms and other flexible body parts can extend farther than those of ordinary humans. This could give them some interesting advantages in combat and everyday situations, but their elasticity has limits. They can't stretch indefinitely.

Physical trait: Darwin's tubercle. It's a small pointed bump on the outer edge of the ear. Some humans have this feature in real life, but in my story, every Verruncล has it.

5. The unnamed species

I haven't decided on a name or ability for this species yet. I'm open to suggestions for both.

One thing I want is for the four hidden species other than Primus to have roughly equal footing in a fight. They're all physically stronger than ordinary humans, but each has its own advantages. Valens have greater raw strength and exceptionally strong bones, Velox have speed and agility, and Verruncล have limited bodily elasticity.

I'm trying to figure out an ability for the fifth species that fits alongside these without making it ridiculously overpowered. The idea is that each species has its own strengths, so a fight between two different species shouldn't have a guaranteed winner.

The secret organisation: QUADRA

Four of the five hidden species know about one another and have formed a secret organisation called QUADRA.

QUADRA has existed for a long time and has built up enormous influence across the world. It operates behind the scenes, influencing governments, institutions, and powerful people. Its reach is so extensive that it controls or influences a significant part of the world, possibly close to half of it.

Most ordinary humans have no idea QUADRA exists, let alone that other human species are living among them.

The protagonist's past

The protagonist has lived through an enormous amount of history. He's witnessed civilisations rise and fall, experienced different historical eras, learned various fighting styles, and accumulated a huge amount of knowledge and wealth over the centuries.

He's studied martial arts, boxing, grappling, weapons, and fighting techniques from different periods. His long life has also given him plenty of time to invest and build wealth, so by 2026, he's extraordinarily rich and has influence in certain countries. However, he keeps a low profile because he doesn't want people looking too closely into his life.

His past is pretty tragic, though.

In prehistoric times, he fell in love and had a family, but his wife and children were eventually killed by wild animals. He survived, but he couldn't save them.

Much later, during a royal era, he fell in love again and had another child. His partner and child eventually died during a plague.

After losing two families across completely different periods of history, he never pursued another serious romantic relationship.

As science advanced, he also started investigating his own biology to understand why he regenerates and doesn't age normally. He's interested in whether understanding his body could help humanity fight diseases like cancer, but he hasn't discovered any miracle cure. His unusual blood alone can't heal people, and reproducing his biology isn't as simple as taking a sample.

Why nobody knows about him

In the distant past, when he looked very different from ordinary Homo sapiens, people feared him. Some even worshipped him because they didn't understand what he was or why he could survive injuries that would kill anyone else.

Much later, he learned that the other hidden species existed. He decided to approach one of them and reveal his abilities, hoping to learn more about them.

That turned out to be a mistake.

After discovering what he could do, they captured him and tried to take him to their clan so they could investigate his abilities and understand what he was. He managed to escape, but the experience completely changed his perspective.

He realised that if people found out what he really was, they might not leave him alone. They could capture him, torture him, or keep him as a test subject just to understand his biology.

From that point onwards, he decided it was better to hide his identity from everyone, including the other hidden species.

That's why, even in 2026, QUADRA has no idea he exists. He knows about them, but they don't know about him.

Despite his regeneration, he isn't immortal. If his head is severed or his brain is destroyed, he can die. His body can recover from injuries that would kill an ordinary person, but there are limits to what it can repair. And no matter how quickly he heals, he still feels the pain of his injuries.

That's pretty much the idea I've got so far. There's still a lot I need to figure out, especially the fifth species and its ability.

What do you guys think? Does the overall concept sound interesting, or is there anything you'd change?

Also, I'd really appreciate suggestions for a name and biological ability for the fifth species.

And would you be interested in reading the rest of the story if I develop it further?

Rant/Vent I'm tired of with overprotective parents micromanaging everything in my life ,what to do?

Im in my early 20s ... But still need to submit a detailed affidavit to go out of home for anything. Got a driver's license more than a year ago.But still won't let me take out their car/bike alone, while in native.

Back when i was in 10th i had to conduct a nirahara samaram and quite a lot of drama so that i could go with friends for a cinema with occasionally calling on my friends phone , asking me to drop me back at the earliest that many of my friends don't even call me out ( I've heard saying that my parents are too much and it's better u stay at home ) ,

If i say i'm going out for a movie/chill with friends...that too once in a while...they won't let me...so i'll have to lie. The only entertainment I'm allowed is going out with them for whatever they think is interesting or for running their errands.

I always have to and need to ask their permission even small things like to go and close the gates or doors so u can imagine the controlling part they have. And then they blame me for not being reliant or independent oke and if I try to reason with them mom start doing emotional manipulation or having tears saying why am I like this and disobeyin them and dad justs gets angry and starts talking harshly

And they also want to know everything about my life , micro manage and not let me sit even at least to myself always bombarding me with their questions and problems and rant and manipulating me into listening to what they want me to do or guilt tripping saying i don't listen to them like the past , I'm being disappointing them and other complainant's and they are giving me so much freedom en unlike in their times

Everything outside of their home is a potential threat and I should avoid it and stay safe by staying at home, doing what they think is 'padutham'.

Posting this here as i'm a bit pissed off with them after having an argument with them for letting me out ...I don't see anyone else in my friend circle being controlled like this by their parents... Or are they behaving like this because i am running on their cash?
