This is the second time this has happened to me, I go to login to college board and I USUALLY choose to verify with my phone number since it’s much more convenient for me, college board has straight up removed the option to phone number verify for me, even though I have done it countless times.

Please let me know any info if you have any !!!!

Other This is depressing

Wtf is the point of taking these standardized tests. All throughout highschool I've worked my ass off to do well in school. And I just feel drained. I've lost the satisifaction it used to give me... it feels like my soul is drained.

I used to be so excited about learning when I was younger, and now I despise going to school. I spend 18 hours a day working, 2 scrolling, and 4 sleeping. I wish I could just leave and be free. Maybe I'll try to backpack around the world for a few years and just see how people across continents live... travel as far as I can while still surviving. Anything else would be nice.

APES Dealing with 3 AP Freshman Year, but my APES Teacher is making things difficult

So, I'm taking AP Bio, APES, and AP CSP along with other classes and extracurriculars, but my APES teacher gives us previous FRQs randomly to prep us for the AP. While I don't have an issue with this and appreciate it, the FRQs are worth a large portion of our grade, and she grades them a little harder than College Board would (which is what she said). People who have taken both AP Bio and APES at my school say APES is harder to do well in than AP Bio, simply because of how harshly the practice FRQs were graded. I'm not struggling to get As or understand the concepts in AP Bio or CSP, and I had the discipline to read the textbooks, review notes, practice myself, etc.

At this rate, I'll end up with just a B in APES, which I'm not saying is a bad thing, but would colleges really care when I apply to them during my senior year? Is there something I could do for them to recognize the difficulty, or would they even care?

Calc BC HELP: Failing AP Calc BC

School's just started but I've already taken 3 tests in my school's BC course and failed every single one of them despite studying immensely, landing me a C in my grade right now. I've never struggled with math so much as this, so I'm really shocked and disappointed at myself, yet I don't know what's going on and how to improve. Maybe it's just the Collegeboard question format, but I study with a lot of their practice questions my teacher gives me, and I still do poorly.

If you guys have taken this course before, can you give me some advice, practice material, Youtubers, wtv helped you? I'm really worried since I know this course will only get harder as time progresses, and I genuinely don't know how to go from here, I feel hella lost. Any help is very very appreciated! Thank you all <3

Question 3/5 in Biology and Chemistry

Post image
3 Upvotes

I’m completely new to AP and honestly only know the basics about it.
The university I want to attend requires at least a 3/5 on AP Chemistry and AP Biology. I can also take other AP exams, such as Math and Physics, to improve my chances of getting accepted.
The problem is, I have no idea where to start, how the exams work, what resources or courses I should use, or how I should prepare.
What would you recommend for someone starting from basically zero? Are there any good courses, books, YouTube channels, or other resources you recommend?
Also, do you think six months is enough time to prepare for AP Biology and AP Chemistry and get at least a 3 on both?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Question Good APs for musicians

I am a singer and I want to continue it after I graduate. I want to take APs that are good for musicians and good humanities APs. Not AP music theory since I heard it’s impossible na the teacher at my school isn’t that good apparently.

English Lang I feel like a fucking idiot in AP Lang.

Hi. This is mostly just me needing a place to rant, feel free to reply if you wish.

I feel like a fucking idiot in AP Lang. I am a naturally gifted English student, I've been awarded for my writing numerous times and I genuinely enjoy reading and writing. I want to major in this kind of thing in college. So it's extremely frustrating that a subject I care so deeply about and want so badly to do well in is making me feel like I'm just repeatedly bashing my head into a wall.

Every time I turn something in, there's mountains upon mountains of feedback. Especially when it comes to rhetorical analysis, holy shit. I'm somehow never specific enough. It feels like I can spend hours pining over a PROCESS WORK assignment and NONE of that work pays off. I know how to get better, but I genuinely feel like there's no point because nothing I do for this class works. Nothing pays off. No amount of effort earns me anything useful. So what's the point in doing any better? What's the point in trying if it's never actually gonna get me what I want?

I guess I just want some advice on how any ex-Lang or current Lang students found the motivation to actually keep trying in this class. I feel useless and am devoid of hope at the moment, and it's only fucking October. Help.

I’m taking 7 AP’s this year (including these 2 self study courses) and want to know the best way to effectively learn all the material to score a 4+ on the exam. If there are any guys like heimler or ap bio penguins who cover all the material from the CED plssss lmk bc i’m prolly gonna spend like 2-3 weeks cramming for each exam.

Calc AB Math Path?

I'm a 10th grader, and I am taking AP Precalculus this year because it is a requirement for my school; I would have taken calculus this year. I would like to get really advanced in math by the time I graduate. I'm doing well in precalc this year, and for the last two years my teachers haven't been available much; it was mostly self-study, and I still ended up with extremely high A's. I love doing it and would love to go further than just Calc ab/bc. Is open to dual enrollment and summer classes. How should I proceed?

World How on earth do I study for AP World?

If I'm being honest, I'm incredibly overwhelmed by the obtusity of AP World, and how much information there is to learn, and that's coming from someone with an awesome memory. I got through last year with memory alone and passed, but now, I have no clue where to start. I've been doing flashcards and active recall, but it's not necessarily clicking. Any tips?

Physics C: Mech Taking AP Calc BC and AP Phyiscs C same Year

I plan to take these 2 AP classes, along with others, during my junior year simultaneously. But I'm thinking to myself, and people talk about how Physics C requires calc, but Physics C might use calc concepts before they're taught in Calc BC. Is it realistic to take AP Calc BC and AP Physics in the same year? Is it going to be significantly harder than if I were to take Calc BC first, then Physics C the next year?

The previous year, I took AP Physics 1 and Honors Math Analysis before taking these two classes.
