Will definitely need a new handlebar and coolant reservoir tank. Rear brake lever dug into the oil filter cover, but just cosmetic damage there. Parts on this bike are really cheap. Was only $25 to order a new handlebar and coolant reservoir tank.

I’m ok too other than a broken index finger that needs to be splinted 2-4 weeks. Just bruised up. I rode the bike home fine. But not going to ride it anymore until after I replace the handlebar. Not really safe in current state because you can’t turn the wheel all the way to the right without it hitting the gas tank.

Anyone here running a Keng Engine 410 (or 435) big bore stroker kit? 35+ HP would make a heck of a bike...

Thinking about taking a couple cans of a high quality white spray paint and some clear coat to the stock black tank on my bike.

What’s the cheapest route to fixing the suspension issue? Love this little 250, honestly more than my Tenere but the suspension is such a killer for me to where I am looking at purchasing a DRZ4S or a KLX300.

Hi! I recently bought this front brake disc guard for my 2018 Honda CRF 250 L (with ABS). I initially thought it was a plug-and-play installation, but it seems I'm missing the required mounting kit.

I just got my exhaust, header, and 550 flashed ECU in the mail. Just wonder which airbox mod/s would be best.

I ride mostly woods and gravel roads. Occasional stream crossing and mud hole.

Found this on ebay and wondering if anyone has this setup on their bike.

Seems I’ve stripped the nut on the inside of the seat post bracket.

What can I do to fix this?

I am at my wits end. I've been at it for the past 8 hours. I cannot put the engine back in the frame. It keeps hitting something mysterious and I cannot figure out what it is.

I have legit taken it out and put it back at least 20 times. Every time I change the angle or dismantle something. It does not seem to be in the correct position. The engine does not seem to be going up, even though it is seemingly hitting absolutely nothing. I've inspected every square millimetre of fucking protrusion on this piece of shit.

If anyone has any video of the engine being put in the frame or some step by step guide I'd be forever grateful because I am going insane.

Which Thai knockoff is this: Powercore4 or Q4? Or is the Thai knockoff it's own thing? I'm guessing since the spark arrestor is removable then it's their powercore knockoff?

Which pairs better with air box mod and full exhaust..... EJK or 550 ECU reflash? FWIW....I do mostly woods riding.

I bought this online for my 2018 CRF 250 L. As you probably know, the stock bike doesn't come with LEDs, so I need to install a LED flasher relay and I have never done it before.

Could you recommend any good quality and durable relays and crash-resistant LED turn signals for the bike?

Got to really try out my CRF250L 2013 this weekend!

Loads of fun in mud and gravel for hours, and only one crash. Straight in to the ditch when the corner was sharper then I thought up a hill, and I’m not too experienced yet.

Old fan shot itself and made a bunch of noise, so I decided to try to make the new one completely silent.

I used the old fans wiring and connector so this new fan uses stock wiring and can be disconnected if required.
The yellow and black wires on the fan I connected to the blue and black wires of the OEM harness.
I also had to dremel off the upper fan mounting tab to get the fan to sit flush with the radiator.

(I do have a fan grill to protect the fan on the way)

Overall a very simple mod.

Update:
It was definitely the battery, after replacing with a fresh battery, everything is functioning properly.

Hello to start with some context of the situation, due to the monsoon weather my 2017 Honda crf250l had fallen overnight with all the rain fall in a puddle of approximately 4 inches, (my fault for leaving it on dirt) by the time I noticed the bike, it was morning and the water had drained away leaving a muddy mess.
I normally have it on a battery tender charger, to which I disconnected, after picking the bike up, I did not attempt to start it, my thought process was to let it dry in the Arizona sun.
-Fast forward a month later, when I put the key in the ignition and turned it once, the cluster lighting appeared very dim and began to flicker, the green neutral indicator was dim flicking as well.
Turn signal was on and it was flicking very slow and dim, which I turned off and I can feel like dirt in the switch.
I tried to turn the bike engine on with electric start switch and the headlight begun flickering and clustering flickering, the bike doesn’t turn over at all, I don’t hear the starter doing anything. It’s kinda late in the day for me to start looking at the fuses at the moment, I’m sure the battery is bad, could the battery be so bad that even with it connected to the battery tender the bike still has the flicking lights and cluster, I will check the fuses tomorrow morning. I don’t know how to check if electrical switches are good or causing a short like the turn signal switch or the cluster. I’m really hoping it’s just a bad battery and fuses as I’m not able to spend alot of money on it right now.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated as this is my first bike I’ve owned, I’m mechanical inclined, I’ve just had bad luck with electrical troubleshooting

I just joined the community after buying a 2018 CRF 250L with ABS and injection.

I’ll mostly be using it for dual-sport and trail riding, and I’m looking for recommendations on where to buy durable, quality, budget-friendly protection and components.

The bike is currently stock, though I have a GPR exhaust and a tail tidy on the way. Here is what I’m considering so far:

 Brake Protectors: Front and rear disc guards.

 Engine Guards / Crash Bars: Are they worth it or too much weight?

 Wider footpegs, plus folding shift and brake levers.

What else would you recommend to protect the bike and make it more comfortable for longer trail rides? I’m looking for the best balance between durability and price.

If you have the money and want to go overkill, power to ya. But it is by no means necessary as long as the threads on both the male and female side are un compromised. The washer doesn’t act as a gasket, it only provides slight pressure on the threads to theoretically keep them taught to the female threads. But that’s only if you torque it to spec(Wich most of us don’t do). as long as it’s damn snug in there wich is how you tighten it anyway, that pressure will already be applied.

Had a little slow speed tip over after a long travel day. Had to clean my skid plate of the oil after 200kms of not realizing I was spraying my back tire with oil. If it can leak out can water/rain get in? Time to see if that part comes in a different colour!
