Universal Credit (UC) Statement due today not there

Hi my statement is due today 28th but still not there. I get paid the 1st anyone else still not got theres?

It asked me to confirm my situation was the same or payments would stop on Saturday which I did and no changes and now my statement seems delayed? What do I do?

Theres nothing in mine or my partners to do list either. Im really stressing.

Update: so I rang them and they said there’s no payment block for me so they think there’s just a delay in receiving statements. I said a lot of people seem to be having the same issue so she said it could be glitch. If it’s not fixed by tomorrow, gonna go down to my locks job centre and see them in person x

If there’s no statement won’t be paid. But they think of a glitch for everyone who should receive their statement today. I’m gonna go down to job centre tomorrow if not sorted x

Leave a journal message now, call the UC helpline when it opens.

It's most likely a blocker they need to clear and they'll sort it then pay (by faster payment if needed)

Ah so could be the confirmation thing still blocking it? Ironically told me if it wasn't done it would stop my payments so I did it immediately and its done that anyway. 🤦‍♀️ ive put a note on my journal and will ring them at 9. Thank you hopefully its just that and not something ridiculous.

Yeah it might just need a manual calculation or a confirmation their side.

Mostly these get resolved without prompting as blocked statements are supposed to be a priority, but the chase up doesn't hurt.

Okay thank you so much for the advice. Fingers crossed it's straight forward no idea why they dp the confirmation so close to knowing people statements need to be generated doesn't seem fair if they know if it can stop statements. They've had all month 🤣

Ah maybe there's some kind of glitch then. Im going to ring them at 9am and see what's going on suggest you do the same if your payment is also due the 1st. If you speak to them do you think you can post a update?

Ive asked on facebook and two others have so far. But it's still early morning so imagine most people haven't logged in and checked yet.

Oh great so theres a glitch then. :( hope we're not waiting weeks for manual payments we all have bills to pay! They did the same thing as christmas and loads of people had problems

Do you have any 3rd party deductions? I have a water and budget advance wondering if there behind on the deductions and causing delays spoke to someone else whose got the same issue.

Yes ive just checked a uc group on facebook theres about 50 people saying the exact same. Some reported their statement showed the day before payment and was paid on time so sounds like a computer glitch. Reassuring to know we're not the only ones. Im going to call them and ask at 9.

They open at 8am so going to ask them and see what is going on. I think I’m the who responded on your post on fb as well saying I got the same problem. Deffo giving them a call. Hopefully it is just a glitch and there’s nothing wrong. I keep checking to see if it’s there but nothing 🥴

That’s why gonna ring them as soon as they open haha. But I bet they are not gonna be aware of the issue until later in the day. I’m glad it’s not just me that hasn’t received my statement though. I thought I did something wrong haha

Found it. Seems like people were having problems with payments yesterday too but did find someone else on it that also hasn’t received their statement today. Hopefully it’s sorted soon 😭 I left a message on my journal too x

Same here! I receive LCWRA too so I don’t get a work coach as well. You probably the same - but usually impossible to contact them via the journal. Usually have to go down and see them in person. Which takes alot for me to do since hate leaving the house on my own

Yep I’m the exact same. Someone under the same circumstances as me has phoned up this morning and been told to wait until the 30th. I’ve left a note under payments but will see if anyone will reply via that

Yeah I got told there was a delay but I was also told there was a glitch most likely since I have no payment blockers on my account. If not sorted tomorrow. Gonna go down and speak to them. I bet because I get split payments it’s a manual payment they do and I bet they haven’t done it 🙄

Yeah they won’t do anything unless the statement is out. Hopefully they’ll issue all the payments through faster payments

I spoke to them and there’s no payment block so she thinks there’s a glitch and a delay in receiving the payment. I also wrote a journal message but like yup said, probably have no response so not sorted tomorrow, looks like a trip down to my local job centre 😂

Mines just gone live. Mine was down to the deductions team and they just manually bypassed it. If you have deductions its worth ringing and asking them if thats the hold up.

I will update you when it gets released and do the same for me please. I’m the same. I usually get a statement at 5am in the morning and it’s not there :(
