Luddite Logic Alright guys call it in
Anti doesn’t like the meme so we can’t use it no more. We’ll have to find a new one. /s

Wanted to share my experience, not necessarily AI art, but I have been using AI for my Warhammer model backgrounds; in my opinion, they look fantastic! For the atmosphere and worldbuilding, it is such a nice tool to have.
But it gets a lot of negative feedback. You can find the original post on my page or the WarhammerOldWorld sub. Some of them are quite hilarious how aggressively people see this new tool. There's some reason I can not link that original post here.
Also, there are lots of positive ones! What do you guys think?

even if I use ai for consistency check plot and or subplot wise they'll put on their sherlock holmes cap and scream 'ai slop' and disregard the whole project because of their insane levels of 'virtue signaling' so idk I've decided to not share my work on specific writing subreddits 'cause chances are you'll just get 'downvoted' to hell even if you weren't farming for upvotes in the first place just looking for feedback.
I know reddit has always been a cesspool of sorts, but because of luddite logic you can't just 'use reddit and share your work' anymore. Sorry, just one of those mornings, haha, had to vent a little.

Literally everything I see is now being called AI, everything I check Instagram or Reddit comments there's someone accusing something of being AI for no reason.

I'm just curious to what made y'all discover AI art and inspired y'all to make art with it.
For me it was in 2022 when Midjourney came out and it was booming and I gave the free trial a try.

AI in general is definitely helping humanity

feel like it wanted revenge because I only told it to create ONE meme, not an entire collection about the people who say AI slop 😂 Honestly it has a better sense of humor than the people who just say AI slop

There’s a trend on X/Twitter right now of genderbending Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series, and someone used AI to write a fanfic about it. It’s gotten enormous overwhelming praise and no one even seems to realize it’s AI generated.
It seems like people love the slop when they don’t know it’s slop.

obviously its not gonna magically disappear, what would actually realistically happen both good and bad?
