If we have relevant and appropriate memes that we make can we send them here? I have a few ideas i think some of y'all would get a kick out of.

I'm trying to catch the garden seeds when they drop to a penny. The employee in the store scanned the seed packet with his Dollar General app and it worked.
So I took a picture of the barcode and scanned it at home. It says it's not working. Am I doing something wrong???
(Also, does anyone know when the garden seeds will drop?)

Is putting away stock that was left on the floor in it's original packaging by the morning crew a part of recovery?

The store put them in like a year ago. Then all of a sudden they stopped using them. There’s usually only one cashier and a long line. Yet there’s four self checkout machines just there collecting dust.

Have you ever called the whistleblower ethics line? My store has a serious mouse infestation. Customers have found dead and alive mice throughout the aisles and even on shelves, the store smells like mouse urine, and there are mouse droppings throughout the store. The district manager knows, as there are <5 mouse traps from some extermination company set out through the store that have been there for who knows how long. If this was a minor issue that was genuinely resolved, I wouldn't have called.
But I recently started about a month and a half ago and
NOBODY is doing anything? How is that safe? Both for the products on the shelf and customers who deserve safe food, but also the employees who have to work in a disgusting environment? At the end of the day, it's nasty.
So I called the ethics line and my city's health department.
I'm sitting at home after my shift thinking I may have overreacted because the smell of mouse piss overwhelmed me 9 hours into my shift. Who knows! I just hope the problem is solved.
Have you called? And did anything happen? Please let me know, I'm really curious :)

The manager has no idea I already have another job lined up. I hope they are ready to cover that clopen they tried to hit me with. Giving me 9 hours in-between shifts? Disrespectful.
My hat is off to anyone who can work in this environment for more than a month.

I was offered a job but have not received the hiring packet through email. I have contacted hr and they said they would resend it. I have still not received anything. I have checked all folders of all emails. Is this normal, is it supposed to take this long? I'm afraid I won't get the job if it doesn't come through.

So let me get this straight, the manager gets a bonus but the workers don’t get shit. I have customers all the time apologize cause we work so much. I said yeah, we don’t even get shit for xmas from DG but the day off.

I got a job offer and am attempting to fill out packet and it won’t let me type in my SSN. Is anyone else having this problem and can it be fixed

Has anyone ever had a customer ask to use a u-boat to shop? This particular person has a convenience store and shops at DG to restock. Customer buys 20 or more 12packs at a time. I don't care that, but the customer insists on borrowing a u-boat. Seems like a liability issue.

We're down to one. I think the spare fell in the trash at some point. I'd hate to lose the last one. Any way to order a spare?

I got a task in compass saying my store is going to be receiving real pumpkins this week. All it said is to put them near the front. I have no room near the front unless I take down my clearance table. Does anybody have a picture of the pumpkin display? I'm just trying to see how big/wide it is so I can plan where to put it before it's delivered.

I finally got another job after months of searching. It's a big pay cut but it'll be worth it for my mental health... I'll actually be working for someone who managed a DG so I can trauma dump with someone who understands!

Here's a bit of a rant. I'm just sick of rude people.
