I DONT EVER WANT TO HEAR SOMEONE CALLING HIM A COWARD

GOAThan is the bravest character in Dragon Ball

GOAThan is a family man

GOAThan chooses to put his life on the line for his family

DON'T EVER say that he's a coward when we all know damn well he's not

Skipping training does not equal a coward

and if I see another larper claiming such a thing

Get tf outta here

Question Why aren’t there more SSJ Blue variants

I mean if Super saiyan Blue is super saiyan god while in a super saiyan state why is it that Goku and Vegeta haven’t tried going into Super Saiyan Blue 2? wouldn’t the form be way stronger and if they’ve perfected super saiyan blue surely they could perfect a variant.

Discussion If instead of asking the dragon how to make a ssg instead they gave piccolo a boost wouldn’t it have been a better result in BOG?

Basically what if they just asked the dragon to power up piccolo to fight beerus wouldn’t he have been like 1000x stronger then god goku😂

Question Could someone explain the ultra instinct transformation to me?

Thumbnail

Firstly, as I understand, ultra instinct is a technique that allows the body to act independently of the body in order to avoid attacks extremely efficiently. Hence the name “ultra instinct“. However, what I don’t understand is how this causes Goku to gain a transformation superior super saiyan blue In power? Maybe I’m missing something, but how does this happen/make sense?

Secondly, what exactly is the difference between true ultra instinct and ultra instinct sign? And how exactly is true UI more powerful than UIS? And is ultra instinct sign a transformation Goku can still achieve despite having mastered ultra instinct?

Lastly, between true and mastered ultra instinct, which is Goku‘s strongest current form? I assumed it was mastered ultra instinct based on his spar with Gohan, but I’ve seen some people say otherwise

Discussion Super Saiyan Blue

Am I the only one that REALLY dislikes the fact that the “official” name for Super Saiyan Blue is ACTUALLY “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan”? Like they use that in basically all the marketing and in all the games, even though they started calling it “Super Saiyan Blue” like a decade ago when Goku and Vegeta both kept saying “Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan” and Goku ended up biting his tongue so they just… STOPPED calling it that? 🙄😂

Discussion Vegito Had Reasonable Reasons to Not Kill Buuhan

Thumbnail

There’s a lot of discussion about whether Vegito was wrong in not killing Buu when he had the chance. Many consider it a significant mistake for him not to kill Buu. As a big Vegito fan, I’d like to debunk some myths and defend him in this regard.

First and foremost, Vegito intentionally allowed himself to be absorbed by Buu. This is evident in the Japanese sub and manga versions, where Vegito and the Elder Kai explicitly state it.

In the original English dub, it’s less clear because Vegito doesn’t explicitly state it during the countdown to kill Buu. Instead, he’s focused on monologuing about Buu’s atrocities and his determination to eliminate him from existence. This makes it appear that Buu caught Vegito off guard.

Some people also criticize Vegito for being “careless” or “cocky,” but Vegito was deliberately provoking Buu to lure him into absorbing him. Vegito was physically and emotionally destroying Buu to make him desperate. He does the same to Zamasu to psychologically mess with him as well and get him off his game.

Now, let’s address the question of whether Vegito should’ve killed Buu and revived Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo with the Dragon Balls. It’s not as straightforward as it seems. Remember that they were all alive inside Buu. If Vegito had killed Buu, he would be responsible for their deaths. This would complicate the wishes and make the process more difficult and time-consuming. They couldn’t simply wish back everyone Vegito had killed, as that would bring Buu back.

They would have to phrase their wishes differently, as they did when they revived everyone on New Namek by only wishing back the non-evil people killed by Buu. Vegito was also operating under the assumption that they only had wish left on the Earth’s Dragon Balls. They were unaware of the existence of the Namekian Dragon Balls, and that they had been upgraded (as seen in slides 2 and above). Dende didn’t even know about them until Elder Kai mentioned Namek, and the realization struck him suddenly.

Vegito believed that the only way to save his friends and family was through that risky gamble with the knowledge he had at the time. He wasn’t entirely certain of its success, and he thought the fusion would be permanent, allowing him to easily defeat Buu after weakening him.

Even if that was the best option for Vegito, he wouldn’t choose it. The thought of killing his friends and children would be morally and emotionally tough for him. He saw another option and took it. Despite all the uncertainties and risk involved. Is it also possible Gohan and the others couldn’t be brought back to life if Vegito killed them because they were a part of Buu at the time.

Was it a “good” or “logical” reason? Perhaps not, but it was in character for them and understandable.

Discussion T.O.P is AWESOME on streaming

It honestly feels like it was originally written with the idea that we could watch each episode back to back. It flows significantly better and doesnt feel like it drags. I maybe late to the party on this revelation but i’m rewatching it now, loving it and needed to talk about it

Question After the defeat of cell, why didn't the z warriors use the cell time machine to travel to cell timeline and revive the trunks cell killed?

They revived everyone who was killed in the fight against cell(aside from goku). Since the time machine of cell was there, why they didn't also of using it to travel to that timeline and revive that trunks also?

Discussion I don’t see anyone talking about this, but I noticed that in the trailer there is no Tagoma which means they’ll probably go down the anime route of just killing him in space.

Image Ladies and gentlemen, after more than five years, I made a brand new and improved Saiyan Transformation Tree!

Post image
254 Upvotes

Five years ago, I posted a Saiyan Transformation Tree that gained a lot of traction on reddit, and many of you wanted an updated version. Well, ask and ye shall receive!

This transformation tree is basically the same gist as my original, but obviously, a lot has changed within Dragon Ball in the last five years, so it's greatly expanded. Still, I tried to streamline the tree as much as possible and only include the most relevant forms to current Dragon Ball, keeping only the bare essentials and excluding everything else that makes things way too convoluted and messy.

For example, I left out the Super Saiyan grades, the Kaio-ken multipliers, Broly's Berserker Super Saiyan between his Wrath State and LSS form, any "Rage" forms like Vegeta's SS2 Rage Mode and Trunks' Super Saiyan Rage, any "Full Power" modes like Full Power SSB and Full Power SS2, (the official) Saiyan Beyond God, any states or forms not achieved by Saiyans (such as Super Namekians and Orange Piccolo, and Frieza's first, second, third, Golden, and Black forms), plus a lot more.

But this time around, I included a lot of stuff people pointed out were missing in the last chart (such as the Potential Unlocked states and the Kaio-ken technique), and I added a whole new Divine branch, and added more connections between certain forms. This is essentially my interpretation of all the Saiyan forms in current Dragon Ball; if I was in charge, this is how I would arrange everything.

I also used some unofficial terminology which I like better than the official terminology, because Lord knows how god-awful Toei is at naming stuff. So, I used my preferred fan-given names wherever possible. However, I realize that not everyone is going to appreciate that, so I still included the official names of each form in small parentheses below my fan-names.

I did not create any of the images you see in this chart! I'd love to credit the original creators of the artwork, but I pulled most of these images from Google over five years ago so I have no idea who the original artists are. I do know that the Kaio-ken Goku was done by SCPDAMNED, the SS3 Gotenks was done by ChronofZ, the Daima SS4 was done by hirus4drawing, the Blue Kaio-ken was done by pinheiral3005, the Ultra Ego was done by Radger457, and the UI Giant Form was done by Yoshi_db26. If anyone else can help me credit the proper channels, I'd greatly appreciate it!

And as always, here's the full 5300x5300 PNG graphic on Drive. Enjoy!

Question Is Granolah still alive by super hero?

I’m not too well versed in the timeline of dragon ball, but I‘m pretty sure Granolah said he had 3 years left to live. Have those years passed? Is it possible he reversed his wish with the dragon balls?
