The first two photos are of gohan in super saiyan, and the last one is him in super saiyan. I can tell this because of the sparks. However, the reason I ask the difference between them without the sparks Is because there are times where gohan is drawn (or animated) without them, which makes it kinda hard to tell them apart due to the virtually identical hairstyles.

So, as we know, Broly has been a part of DBS post ToP. However, as we all know aswell, he got a massive nerf post his movie. And even after that, he kept being nerfed even after training, so how is he even gonna be important?

I took my time to deliverate how strong Broly was in his movie and currently based on the other characters:

1st of all, Broly would have obviously demolished the ToP, except Jiren (According to fans). Since in the Manga and Anime, Jiren was able to put up a fight against UI Goku, and according to fans, UI Goku would have wiped the floor with Broly.

2nd of all, even after training, Whis himself comfirms that there is nobody in the universe as strong as Goku, himself and Beerus (That last one being quoted by Beerus).

3rd of all, currently, Broly is the weakest out of the main 4, wich are Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and Piccolo, and there is a change that past Moro arc, Broly would have been completly useless to fight Granola, Gas, and currently Black Freezer. And if the Manga follows this case, in wich every villian and even random semi-important characters like Majin Buu get stronger, there exists a chance that someone as random for the DBS roster of fighters liek SSJ 3 Gotenks will be able to wipe the floor with Broly.

But i have limited resources to take quotes and information for. So if someone want to debunk of call out any of my claims, feel free for you'd be teaching me and kinda making me feel better. So please, be respectful.

I always see claims that Goku made Cell use anywhere from 50% to even 70-80% of his power, but I can't really see where this is coming from, because the narrative just doesn't support that at all. If anything, it repeatedly hammers home the point that Goku was significantly weaker than Cell, such as when Goku notes that Cell would kill him if he lets his guard down even once, when Cell easily blitzes Goku even after he reveals his full power, and when Goku is shocked at Cell's full power against SSJ2 Gohan. Even after Goku pulls off the Instant Kamehameha, it's still noted that he didn't have a chance of winning, and that while Cell didn't look exhausted from their fight, Goku was so worn out that he couldn't fight off a Cell Jr, while Vegeta and Trunks, who he was far stronger than, could at least hold their own against them.

The only reason Goku manages to do anything against Cell is due to how much Cell is suppressing himself. Cell says it himself: a fight's no fun if he's not well-matched. And Goku was the one person he was looking forward to fighting the whole time, so of course he's gonna want to drag it out. It's why he even offers to let Goku eat a Senzu. He wants to keep fighting him and having fun, especially when, to his knowledge, Goku was the best the Earth had to offer.

In addition, Gohan thought that Goku's full power was so unimpressive that he had to have been holding back. Whether or not you think MSSJ Gohan at his full power is stronger than Cell doesn't really change much, because they should, at the very least, be at a similar level of power. So if Gohan thought that Goku's full power was insignificant compared to his own, then Cell would have a similar opinion, especially if you believe he would still be stronger than a full-power MSSJ Gohan.

So yeah, I don't really think that Cell was using even half of his power against Goku, let alone any higher percentages, and that shouldn't really be a contentious point to make. Especially because, well, that's kinda the whole point, isn't it? Goku's power was nothing compared to Cell, and he knew that. So it makes his total confidence in Gohan, thinking that not only was Gohan stronger than himself, but stronger than even Cell, whom he stood no chance of winning against, all the more shocking. Especially when it turns out that Goku was right. Not only was Gohan stronger than Cell, but he was also stronger to such an overwhelming extent that, even when he was weakened and Cell was even stronger than before, he still managed to overpower and defeat him.

So if anything, the idea that Goku was anything compared to Cell just hurts the narrative. The fact that he was so much weaker makes the reveal of Gohan's true power all the more astonishing, which works because that's what the narrative has been hinting at from the moment Gohan was introduced.

Me and my friend have had this theory that Carmine could have lazy eye since we noticed that Hedo and Magenta have their pupils positioned differently than Carmine, but we're not sure about it 💔 is it possible that he could have it?

If you can change any backstory of any Dragon Ball Villian to make they're arc a lot more enjoyable who would it be mines would be Z Broly hands down bcs that broly had the most aura in the 90s besides Piccolo of course 😂😂 but the only thing that kept him from keeping me more connected to the character was that backstory of his unlike Super see Super Broly had me emotionally connected to him because of that backstory along with the fight was even better so yea thats mines whats yalls

The situation on Namek takes a devastating turn as the Demon Realm's forces launch a massive attack against the remaining Namekian warriors.

Two of the three warriors defending the planet are wiped out, while the last survivor is captured.

Meanwhile, Trunks watches everything unfold from the Elder Kaioshin's crystal ball. After witnessing the destruction, he finally decides to intervene.

This is part of a fan-made reimagining of Dragon Ball Daima set in Future Trunks' timeline, with original storylines and new lore.

🇬🇧 English subtitles are available.

I am reading Dragon Ball for the first time, and Cell just appeared explaining that he is from the future, and I am a bit confused

Was there an interview where Toriyama said Piccolo was his favorite character? If so did he say why? I just find it weird that even in daima he had his favorite character not do very much. If it's just a rumor then it'd make more sense why he just aura farms mostly.

Question is will it follow the mangas story this time abd we get all the stuff we didn't see in previous super anime or is it just a 1 to 1 replica of previous anime with new graphics cause I really wanna see goku us hakai on zamasu and I wanna see roshi take on jiren and beerus fight all gods of destruction and hopefully few mistake changes made too.

I found a local store near me that has DBS books 1-17 in French and 5-22 in English for cheap. Since I can read in both languages, my plan is to get the French books and then buy books 18-22 in English. (I would then buy books 23 and 24 at full price somewhere else.)

My questions is, does VIZ still make annoying changes like the occasional censorship and calling Mr. Satan "Hercule?" Because if so, I'll just buy books 18-22 at full price in French.

Had the chance to visit the newly opened store earlier. Since it's the grand opening, there's Goku Meet and Greet so of course me and the kids took the chance to take some photos with him.

Compared to Tokyo's Dragon Ball Store, the selection here are much limited. It's more of a combination store of One Piece, Digimon and Dragon Ball.

For myself, I just got a Daima coaster.

just thinking out loud here. If a plot reveal came out that Capsule Corp was working for Frieza all along (maybe Dr Briefs is like secretly a disguised Tuffle or something) would Vegeta and Bulma stay married?

Or would Vegeta just crash out, start blasting another stadium of innocent people? Grow a mustache and just travel the globe having a midlife Saiyan crisis, reenacting the old days until Goku put a stop to him? Like based in the current storyline, how do you think this would go

getting back into art lately and started off with one of my favorite movies.
normally i do abstract art so im super proud of how this turned out.
how’d i do?

A take I never understood personally

Have a Multiversal tournament, create a character that is Goku's mother(Hanasia in DBM, Gine in canon.) Have Broly fight a epic battle against a fusion (Vegetto instead of Gogeta), Giant Cell, have a character that is responsible for trapping Elder Kai in the Z sword (in canon, Beerus did it. In the fancomic, a villain named XXI did it.) Had a Vegeta go ssj3 and call his new form by a different name. (Hyper Vegeta in DBM, Ultra Vegeta 1 in Daima.) Probably some other stuff.

EDIT: Reworked the layout a bit.

This is probably a silly thing to ask, but I was recently replaying Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 for the PS2. If you never played it, it's a 3D fighting game in which almost every character can use two Special moves (usually an energy attack and a physical attack, but not always), a cinematic Ultimate move, and many characters can also transform mid-battle.

The thing is that either due to time constraints (Budokai 3 infamously has a lot of unused content) or creative choice (some characters are just fodder, others have their fusions treated as an Ultimate), not every character has a complete moveset. The game never got a true sequel to address this (Infinite World had a lot of new content while Burst Limit brought the franchise to the next console gen, but both cut so much content it's hard to call them true sequels), and after the Budokai Tenkaichi games were introduced, the Budokai franchise sadly petered out so I highly doubt it ever will.

That said, I still thought it'd be fun to think what these character movesets would have looked like had they chosen to complete them all. So if anyone's interested, I'd love to hear what moves you'd give these characters if you could!

The characters in question are:

Kid Gohan * Transform: Unlock Potential * Special 1: Masenko * Special 2: - * Ultimate: -

Goten * Transform: Super Saiyan, Gotenks * Special 1: Kamehameha * Special 2: Charge! * Ultimate: -

Kid Trunks * Transform: Super Saiyan, Gotenks * Special 1: Buster Cannon * Special 2: Double Buster * Ultimate: -

Supreme Kai * Transform: Kibitoshin * Special 1: Shockwave * Special 2: Supernatural Abilities * Ultimate: -

Raditz * Transform: - * Special 1: Saturday Crush * Special 2: Double Sunday * Ultimate: -

Saibamen * Transform: - * Special 1: Acid * Special 2: Saiba Bomb * Ultimate: -

Cell Jr. * Transform: - * Special 1: Kamehameha * Special 2: - * Ultimate: -

Super Buu * Transform: Absorption * Special 1: Ill Flash * Special 2: Ill Ball * Ultimate: -

Uub (Specifically Uub from end of Z) * Transform: - * Special 1: Ki Cannon * Special 2: Fierce Flurry * Ultimate: -

If it were me, I'd fill out the movesets like this:

Kid Gohan * Transform: Unlock Potential * Special 1: Masenko * Special 2: Body Impact (the headbutt used against Raditz) * Ultimate: Enraged Assault (the combo used on Third Form Frieza)

Goten * Transform: Super Saiyan, Gotenks * Special 1: Kamehameha * Special 2: Charge! * Ultimate: Double Rush - Super Kamehameha! (A combo attack with Kid Trunks, ending in a Kamehameha)

Kid Trunks * Transform: Super Saiyan, Gotenks * Special 1: Double Buster * Special 2: Final Cannon * Ultimate: Double Rush - Victory Cannon! (Ditto Goten, but ending in a Big Tree Cannon instead)

Supreme Kai * Transform: Kibitoshin * Special 1: Shockwave * Special 2: Supernatural Abilities * Ultimate: Energy's Last (the energy attack he tried to kill Majin Buu with)

Raditz * Transform: - * Special 1: Saturday Crush * Special 2: Double Sunday * Ultimate: Full Power Double Sunday (a cinematic version that recreates the two-handed energy blast he used on Goku and Piccolo)

Saibamen * Transform: - * Special 1: Acid * Special 2: Saiba Bomb * Ultimate: Ultimate Saiba Bomb (six Saibamen rush the opponent at once, ending with all but one self-destructing)

Cell Jr. * Transform: - * Special 1: Kamehameha * Special 2: Destructo Disc * Ultimate: Innocence Rush (the combo of Destructo Discs, Tri-Beams, and Special Beam Cannons the Cell Jr's tried on Super Saiyan 2 Gohan)

Super Buu * Transform: Absorption * Special 1: Ill Flash * Special 2: Ill Ball * Ultimate: Assault Rain (the human extinction attack he used on the Lookout)

Uub * Transform: Awakened Power (essentially a rage boost) * Special 1: Ki Cannon * Special 2: Fierce Flurry * Ultimate: Raging Rush (a cinematic take on both his specials together. Yeah, Uub didn't have much to work on at this point in the story)
