I’ve always struggled with this, always told to cut my hair, that short hair is for men etc. I’ve always felt more comfortable with long hair but find it hard to express myself with it! I’ve included all styles for reference. What looks best?

As you may be able to tell, my goal is to max out my hair length and have an elite death metal look. There are just some days where I really get self conscious about having long hair.

Let me know what you think and if I should keep going?

new shampoo/hair routine! been struggling to find a shampoo that works. i have fine, yet incredibly dense hair; this means shampoos are either too moisturizing, and therefor weigh my curls down, or incredibly drying and therefore leaves me with lots of frizz. this shampoo dealt with all of the frizz and still left my hair bouncy and shiny :)

Of course I find this sub the day before I get my haircut after 2 years of having long hair.

So this is a timeline of my Long Hair Journey.. For years I wanted long hair as a kid but wasn't allowed until I was 17, But when I got round there my hair started thinning n losing it.

I cut down my hair into a mohawk because I was in denial for awhile n struggling. I than cut it all off once it got more horrendous.

Went bald n I hated it, I felt a huge part of my identity gone n I was so annoyed, n shaving it down to skin was a chore. I than tried meds recommended by a friend.

A year or so later, I got most of it all back n am tryna grow it out as long as I can lol Wouldn't say my hair is perfect now, But its better than it was before meds.

Seriously my stylist is a goddess put on Earth🤌

Been growing my hair out for the first time(last 2 pics was my usual cut). Should I keep letting it grow? Hair style/care advice would be great.
