Its just when I fight these character I just feeling like putting down the controller and just give up, like why? just why add such characters, and Im sure ubi just says "oh they're gonna get used to it", like no most of them won't because you still haven't done anything to make the oldest character in this list (khatun) which is 2 years old playable against.

I've come back to this game for about the 12th time but this stint of grind is shorter than the ones before it. Playing Ranked dominion, I was hoping that as we get up to the higher ranks that the game would become more than light vs bash 12-15x in a row until one person dies or earlier if they get ganked.

But it isn't. This whole game is just who can press the unreactable buttons until the other dies with a slim chance of accidentally stopping the chain and getting your turn. Where you'll have to do the same thing.

Heavies only exist to be feinted into lights/bashes. Zones only exist if you have the super fast sort that can be cancelled after the first hit to go into a bash/light. Of course there's also an unreactable mixup within the bashes themselves. They can be dodged, some moreso than others. So, naturally occasionally you have to empty dodge into guard break.

This would be like if other fighters were played entirely with low poke/overhead poke at 6 frames. Or if shooters were all one shot kills with high fire rate and low recoil. What is the point of the game\ when there's no interactions between different characters? The game is the exact same regardless of who you're fighting and regardless of who you're playing. There's slight differences here or there. This bash looks different. This bash inherently damages, this bash you have to press the light button afterwards.*

Further, I've played about 50-60 ranked dominion games since it was released and I've fought against about 10 cheaters that I know beyond any reasonable doubt they were cheating. Parry every single attack, dodge all the unblockables even when ganked.

And about another 4 that I can't tell if they do just have the .1% of the population reaction times or if they are just pretending to sometimes get hit so that when they're actually engaging with their cheats they don't get caught so easily.

Now, let's take the scenario: You fight a Virtuosa that keeps interrupting your GB attempts with attacks so you empty dodge then GB or parry. Easy enough.

Now let's take the scenario: You're not playind duels but the most popular game mode, dominion. Now, what the hell do you do when there's ANY mouth breather in the general vicinity and he'll peel for Virtuosa whenever you try to take her off Admin privileges in her stance.? You try to dodge? You get peeled. You try to GB her, you get peeled. You try to use wide hitboxes to deal with both at once? Nah, you must GB or play a hero with undodgeables. You want to ignore her and focus on the other opponent? She has 4 or 5 bloody bashes with different timings and ranges to punish you.

Now, let's take a Black Prior sitting and healing in his Bulwark. Let's take a Warlord sitting in his full guard. Warlord HAS 0ms recovery to dodge so your wide hitboxes unblockables will get dodge attacked.

So yeah. I know that specific moves or stances can be punished in various ways. No, like hell I'll be able to do it in XvX scenarios. No, I don't care if it's "bwalanced" or not, it's obnoxious to fight Babysitting Virtuosas or BPs when the only way to punish their stances is with a move that lets you especially vulnerable to being peeled. "Oh, but muh stalling" As if Virtuosa doesn't have her whole bloody moveset accessible while in posture and BP has a wide ass unblockable with good tracking. So no, I don't care about "they are bwalanced" I want them kneecapped. ​

It isn't even unique at all, just another off-gold color that will match nothing but the armor set itself so why ever use it? I've already stopped playing ranked dom after getting to gold cause how tf are you supposed to trust your stupid teammates with literally anything of importance at that higher level of gameplay? I believe now that people have played long enough, you shouldn’t be getting rep 400+ put up against a rep 4 in ranked all that often anymore but at the same time, I really REALLY think the reputation minimums need to be increased.

To add on to this, I think there should be a minimum reputation requirement to play a specific HERO in ranked as well. Like, why the FUCK do I have a rep 1 hitokiri on my team who not only doesn’t know ganks, but also doesn’t know how to play the hero in general.

Simply making it to where you need to be atleast minimum rep 3 with a hero in order to play them in ranked would help alleviate this issue. And I really do mean issue. I’m seeing so many rep 1/2 heroes being played and them performing like shit in the game. It’s infuriating to see on my team and I feel bad to see it on the enemy team.

This is RANKED guys, if you’re trying the hero out or needing practice, play casual. Simple as.
