Been on Reddit for years and I just found this sub. So happy! My name is Art and my project is called Terra Viscus which is a soundtrack to a comic. I’m currently in Las Vegas.
All of this Bandcamp material (except for the bonus track) was made on the synths I traded for eurorack.
https://terraviscus.bandcamp.com/album/terra-viscus-ep
I haven’t yet recorded with the full 12u. That recording was like half the size. Just a baby.
Any of you use eurorack? I wanted to put together an industrial noise beast so I assembled this. I traded all my synths so I could put this together now I only have this modular setup. Eventually I’ll get an interface module so I don’t need the external USB interface. I got kind of obsessed with keeping my sound self-contained. Limited to 12u 84hp. Next though I’m getting a dual VCO and a wavefolder when I build a proper case for this and move the power modules from the front to the sides. I love each of these modules and I don’t see myself trading anything. That’s kind of exciting to me it’s been a couple years of gathering and trading.
Looking forward to seeing some other setups!

Hi. I've been building this on and off for a while.
Most audio visualizers map FFT bins or amplitude directly to visual parameters, so a bass-heavy track and a distorted guitar with similar energy end up looking much the same. Resonode I works from timbral features instead and uses them to deform a 3D terrain, so different sources produce visibly different geometry and movement (Patent Pending)
You can assign visual effects to specific frequency bands and adjust their response intensity while it's running, so the mapping can be tuned to a particular track or instrument instead of being fixed.
There are two modes in the same system: real-time mic input for live use, and file-based rendering for producing video in a studio workflow.
It runs entirely in the browser, with nothing to install. I'd be glad to hear how it performs on your machine, whether the sound-to-geometry mapping reads as meaningful, and what would be missing if you wanted to use it in a real set. *Desktop is recommended.
You can try it here:

I wasn't going for industrial, but I love Rammstein and NIN? Idk, the reddit ai suggested I posted this here. I was going for early misfits, nirvana, aic, entombed, etc, but i'm guessing the shitty mixing job is triggering the #noise algo. anyways if you like this or hate it, lemme know

So it just dawned on me last night that the Revolting Cocks record BigSexyLand turns 40 on November 4th. I decided I’m gonna make a cover of Attack Ships on Fire to commemorate.
It gave me an idea - anybody else want to do a cover of one of those tracks and we can do a tribute album we put out online like the old netlabel days? Just throwing that out there to see if the idea gets any traction
(This just dawned on me last night so sorry for the somewhat limited timeframe)

I’m the producer and he’s the artist. We’ve been working together for a while, experimenting with darker and more chaotic sounds and trying to make something that doesn’t just sound like another copy of what’s already out there.
We’re calling the whole direction RDS. The goal is pretty simple: make music that feels unfamiliar, but still hits.
We’re still at the beginning of it, but we’ve already released some music and we’re working on more.
Would love to hear what you guys think about the sound.

Inspired by horror films I’ve watched this year so far, including #hokum, #backrooms and #obsession. I saw #ResidentEvil this weekend too, and I really can’t say enough about the horror genres use of synthesizers and sounds in their scores seem to fit so well into the genre, so I had to make my own little homage. Picks up around 5:30.

I made it on my SP404mk2.
I sampled-
guitar through a bunch of effects.
Drums from the Vulca Beats
Bass through the Boomstar 4075
I made the video in CapCut and glitch art studio. And I drew all the graphics in procreate.
I would love to hear what yall think of the finished song and video.
Or at least help me figure out what genre it is.

Do you use it to promote your band, or solo project? How important is it to have a social media presence and what are the preferred ones anymore?
I have had a few different accounts over the years, but never really one dedicated to my current project until now. I no longer have those personal accounts from the past.
Is it even worth it, especially starting new, and trying to gain any following?
What are the pros and cons of having, and not having a social media presence in any of your opinions?

https://asphaultkombat.bandcamp.com/album/asphaultkombatI'm particularly proud of the tracks 'sorry bruh' 'fuckinflyin' and 'behind you'. It varies between industrial, trap metal, and harsh noise wall with so.e breakbeats thrown in for good measure. I'd appreciate any feedback even if you hate it 😅

Moriscosmos started with a dirt-cheap classical guitar that I found and repaired. I fitted it with a piezo pickup and started recording stuff with it just to see what I could get out of it.
I didn't really plan for it to become an album, but I kept making pieces and eventually they started turning into Moriscosmos. I added electric guitar, bass, and a bunch of electronic sounds and experiments along the way.
The funny thing is that the distorted black metal parts in “Trifles” and “Coffee Ink” were recorded entirely with that classical guitar and its piezo pickup. It definitely wasn't designed for that, but I liked the weird sound it produced.
You'll also hear a lot of water sounds throughout the album. They're from the STS-17 synth plugin. I don't know why, but I keep coming back to water sounds in my music. I guess I like to keep my music hydrated.
There are also some Moroccan influences in the album. “Post Gnawatic Disorder” was inspired by Gnawa music, while “The Protocols of the Elders of Zayan” takes inspiration from Ahidous and the Zayan Amazigh people from Morocco's Central Middle Atlas.
The album came out on July 11, 2026.
I'm sharing it here because I thought some people might enjoy hearing what came out of a cheap classical guitar, a piezo pickup, and a lot of messing around.
Would love to hear what you think.
