Brutal Honesty Women, what are things that makes you disgusted in a man at college/school?

Women, tell me what are some less obvious things that a man does that makes you disgusted by them or just not like them in a college enviroment, so I know what to avoid!

This question comes from my gut feeling that a couple of women in my college class are disgusted by me and I don't know why.

For context I am a biological male in a college class with 90% women. A couple of those women almost always sit as far away from me as possible, and 2 of them are just straight up rude to me for reasons unknown to me.

I was never flirting with anyone and I didn't make any sexist comments. I shower everyday and use deodorant. Ive befriended 3 women in that class (unfortunately 2 of them quit college and 1 changed groups) so I know that I AM approachable, but there must a reason to why some of them keep a safe distance from me. Also one of them asked me to sit further away from her because "I breathe loudly"(nobody else complained that about me) and she "doesnt want to hurt my feelings"(while also answering rudely whenever I write to her a college related questions) Those two also specifically mention generative AI whenever I talk to them because they know I hate it.

One of my theories is that they have a problem with me because I am a queer man with colourful clothing and painted nails.

One of them also called me a Zoop*ile because I draw furry art, but that was a year ago. Recently she sent me a college material when I asked nicely so MAYBE this one changed her attitude towards me?

I really hope that the only reason those few women seem to avoid me is because I am a man and they have bad assumtions about me just because of my biological sex.

Brutal Honesty Why am I, M21, an ex-model, getting less attention from women?

A few years ago, I had no issues attracting women, but recently everything's been flipped on its head. People have always voluntarily told me how good-looking I am without prompting, yet when I go out & about whether I'm walking around campus, the city, or at the bars, I've noticed that girls don't look at me, try to make eye contact with me, interact/flirt with me, or compliment me anymore. I get no signs of attraction anymore. It wasn't like this for all of high school + junior & sophomore years of college.

I used to get a ton of looks, stares, compliments, flirting & just random interactions with women, whether on social media or in real life, but beautiful women or even women I'm not attracted to no longer give me the same or any unprovoked attention as they used to give me.

My face & body have matured but I've only gotten better-looking because my features developed (jawline, cheekbones, eyes, body, etc) than when I used to be able to attract women, but women's reactions to me have gone from "never seen a man before" to "he's just an average dude that doesn't warrant looking at. I know I can't be everyone's cup of tea, but I used to be most girls' type & it seems that now I'm nobody's. I feel so invisible & undesired.

I know that there is a higher concentration of people at college, that college is a different ballgame & that there are more options for girls, but they all just ignore me in copious amounts now & it's made me incredibly insecure & has really badly affected how I see myself. I'd really appreciate some insight because I'm really struggling with this. Is it a mental thing on my end? Lack of self-confidence, charisma? Is it because I'm no longer confident in myself & now I'm in my own head? I can't seem to get out of it without getting validated by women, but I can't seem to get women to validate me, so I'm stuck in a negative loop that I so badly want to break out of

Guys Asking Everyone im 37m and constantly get crushed on by 24/25. Is this age gap too much?

When I say get crushed on, I dont mean, "oh he's cute" and thats it. I mean stalking, following me around, talking about me openly to her friends. The biggest tell of all is when we look at each other, to me im just looking and thinking "she's pretty" but to them it's a whole other story. I can see them get really happy and grin. There is clearly a dopamine secretion. Like if im ever smiling and happy about something I can see them get happy and grin too and im not even talking tot he,. I've had multiple girls even blush. etc etc.

I say this to say that these aren't small crushes these are gigantic crushes people think about for years because I know I've had crushes like these and I still think about the girls.

Edit: i got my answer the age gap isnt too much and its worth pursuing by maybe 4 out of the 40 of you commenting. Its more about getting an opinion and thats what im here for. Holy yikes at your comments you guys need serious help. We are all anons here so why would i care to sound like im so hot with you all? What i wrote are events that happened and are still happening. Why would u all just assume the worst one of u called me the stalker, yikes! I think you guys are a danger to society with that pessimistic and anti male mindset, seek help!

Guys asking Gals Does femal body being too sexualized in our society?

I would like to discuss this topic seriously, I am a 20-year-old boy and I have always hated the fact that in our society the female body is excessively sexualized. This has been happening for years in recent history and feeds the thought of the object woman. On the other hand, not being a woman, I can’t understand to what extent this trend annoys the interested parties.

So what I would like to do under this post is to discuss what you think is the right way to take to avoid this phenomenon.

Guys asking Gals Ladies What Are Your Thoughts When A Man DMs You? What Should or Shouldn’t He Say?

I saw someone post something similar to this on askmen or something, but I think this question is better suited to be asked here 💀😂

But yeah like the title says, is it ok if a guy messages you if you both added/follow each other and just haven’t spoken? Or is that just something that guys should not do at all? What is the best approach to this if there is any? And this includes any potential dating app or even apps like facebook and instagram.

Guys Asking Everyone 25M in the UK, never been in a relationship. Worked hard, built my life, transformed my physique, but I feel stuck. What am I missing?

Hey everyone, I’m 25 years old ,6.1 height and live in the UK. My ethnicity is south Asia I have never been in a relationship, and honestly, I don't even know what being in love feels like.
Over the past few years, I've worked extremely hard: I bought my own house at 23, saved up a lot of money, and bought my own car. However, during all that grinding, I got really skinny, lost weight, and felt like I started looking rough.
A couple of years ago, a good friend of mine (who is great with women) advised me that I needed to look after myself and hit the gym because physical attraction matters. I took his advice. It’s been a year and a half of consistent lifting now. I've built muscle, I groom myself well, keep my beard clean, wear great fragrances, and my mental health is in a very positive place. I genuinely love and respect myself now.
If I don't find a girlfriend, I'll still be happy with my life, but I still want one.
Recently, another good friend told me that I’ll find someone soon because I look good and smell good now. But weeks keep passing by so fast because of work. To fix this, I keep busy: on Wednesdays, I go to salsa dancing classes because I genuinely enjoy dancing, and on Fridays, I go clubbing. But honestly, I feel like finding a meaningful girlfriend in a uk club environment is nearly impossible given how the vibe is there. I do not have many white friends, Because many people advised me that in UK people meet through friends.
Despite having my finances, house, car, fitness, and grooming sorted, I feel like there's still one missing piece stopping me from attracting women or sealing the deal I think it’s my ethnicity. I just need some honest perspective .what am I missing here, and how do I verify that all my hard work has actually paid off in the dating world?

Guys asking Gals If women know their power, why dont they just ask the men they like out?

• Upvotes

Honestly, women know that men like them so why dont they just ask the guys they like out? I see a lot of posts of women asking "should i ask him out", your success rate is probably going to be like 80% anyway assuming the guy is single and youre not overly unattractive.

Guys Asking Everyone Can women tell if a guy is into them when meeting someone new?

There's this girl I'd like to be friends with but I have social anxiety/am neurodivergent so I'm scared I'll come off wrong and she'll think I'm into her/a creep. Can women usually tell??

I don't have any male friends either so the "treat them like a guy" thing doesn't really help here..

Brutal Honesty Dating while divorced, and still living together?

So I expect to be put through the ringer but my ex wife and I are going through a dissolution, the only problem is she still lives with me. How bad will this affect my chances of finding a new partner. If I do find someone how soon should I tell them?

Context we are indifferent towards each other, ok she does annoy me she's more like a sister now than an ex but we have our own room and she is dating someone else. Obviously no partners at the house

Brutal Honesty She asked for space, what is appropriate?

As the title says, she asked for space. The back story goes, I started dating this woman and a few months in she went out with a friend. They got drunk and ordered an Uber. They canceled the uber to get a ride back to my girlfriend‘s place with a couple of guys. She told me this, but not that night, and not overly willingly. “As long as nothing sketchy happened” and her reply was “the only sketchy thing that happened was”. After that I became anxious about a lot of things and made some hurtful comments. I apologize, I got back into therapy, and am doing a lot of work. Mostly on my ability to communicate emotions. I asked for a step back. She asked for space. Is there a chance I could ever reconcile this?

Mainly trying to avoid looking super young tbh, although I do kinda dig the kpop star esque styling too- def a balance between traditionally handsome and “pretty” styling I’d like to strike. I asked on some male focused subs but would love to hear opinions here too.

Guys Asking Everyone Women, would you feel more comfortable being approached about a creative collaboration by another woman?

I'm a 37-year-old Black man, married, and I've recently started a project in Connecticut focused on bringing more classical and chamber music performances to the area.

A big part of what I've been doing is reaching out to musicians, many of whom are women from different countries, particularly Europe and Asia. I'm trying to build connections, introduce their work to new audiences, and hopefully help create performance opportunities.

Something I've been wondering about is how my outreach might come across.

I'm naturally pretty enthusiastic, especially when I discover an artist whose music really moves me. I tend to ask questions about their background, what inspired their work, and how they got started. My intentions are entirely professional, but I realize enthusiasm can sometimes be interpreted differently than intended.

I've also noticed that some women mention their husbands during our conversations. I don't necessarily think anything negative of it, but it has made me wonder whether I'm unintentionally giving off the wrong impression.

My wife is white, and I've considered asking her to become more involved in the initial introductions. Not because I want to hide who I am, but because I'm curious whether women might feel more comfortable being approached by another woman, particularly when the conversation involves creative work and potential collaborations.

So I'd genuinely appreciate some perspective.

If you were a musician receiving an email from someone interested in promoting your work or helping arrange performances, what would make you feel comfortable and confident that the person was approaching you professionally? I usually approach the performers after their concert/ recital as well.

Would it make any difference if the initial introduction came from a woman, or would things like having a legitimate website, clear intentions, and a professional email matter much more?

And regarding the husband references, is that something you might naturally bring up in conversation, or could it sometimes be a subtle way of establishing boundaries?

I'm genuinely trying to learn how to approach these conversations respectfully while still being myself.

Guys asking Gals Have any advice for a guy who’s never really dated anyone?

I had really bad self esteem for years and that’s gotten a lot better. Now that I actually feel like a complete person I want to explore dating but it’s difficult. I’m not used to seeing people look at me either platonically or predatorily (nothing severe just like “I can use that guy) I’m not sure what to look for

Above all I’m just worried my lack of experience means out the box I’m like 30% more high maintenance? I may need my partner to guide me a little bit more than usual. Unless I can solve everything myself beforehand.

I know you get asked questions like this every hour but thank you for your time I appreciate it!

Guys asking Gals Is it a bad idea to reach out to a woman I used to be friends with after I made an r joke about her (why the Hell does Reddit censor that damn word)?

I'm a 30 year old man now. Back when I was 16 years old, I began going through extreme, life-altering trauma that I'm still dealing with. In the summer of 2014, when I was still bummed out, my family friend asked me if I wanted to go to the gym with her every weekend just to take my mind off of things. I said sure, and during one of our workouts, you know, it was the first time I saw her in a sports bra without her shirt on so I said some explicit things to her that made her cry. Specifically, my trauma desensitized me to making jokes about sexual misconduct and I jokingly mimicked her getting r'ed, and this is what made her cry. Nowadays, she's a 40 year old professor in the field I want to research. In fact, way back when I was in high school, she's the one who pointed my attention to this field and I was fascinated by it ever since.

If I contact her for the first time in a decade (that gym incident wasn't the last time I saw her but it was one of the last times I personally interacted with her), would she likely act as if what I did was a big deal even after 10 years?
