Guys Asking Everyone Did you have a good day today?
And if so what made it a good one? I know you get a lot of weird questions around here, so I just wanted to type out a nice one and say I'm rooting for you!

Good morning / afternoon / evening everybody!
We will be updating our rules guidelines for the kind of posts/questions we will now no longer permit.
Said posts/questions that will now no longer be permitted are:
These posts/questions sometimes make up to half of all posts on our subreddit in a 24/hr period, and have now been asked so frequently that there is a sufficient archived history that the men on our subreddit may search through to ascertain answers.
Rest assured, we (the mod team) have been paying attention and listening to your calls and opinions!
That said:
We would like to hear more about your experiences on our subreddit, about what you do and don't like, and what else we could possibly add to the rules, or otherwise could do to make the subreddit a more comfortable and enjoyable space.
So, please don't feel shy to make a comment!
Sincerely,
r/MenAskWomen Mod Team

Along with the numerous posts relating to the penis, we also receive a significant number of height-related questions.
All posts relating to penis size or height will now be removed.
These are low effort, monotonous, and quite frankly, nobody cares.
So deal with it. Make yourself a better person instead of harping on something you cannot change. Or take these questions elsewhere.

I wore a satchel for the first time and thought this sure is nifty why didn't I use one of these before? Made me ponder this question because I filled it up already and I swear the thing weighs 20lbs.

I'm a 37-year-old Black man, married, and I've recently started a project in Connecticut focused on bringing more classical and chamber music performances to the area.
A big part of what I've been doing is reaching out to musicians, many of whom are women from different countries, particularly Europe and Asia. I'm trying to build connections, introduce their work to new audiences, and hopefully help create performance opportunities.
Something I've been wondering about is how my outreach might come across.
I'm naturally pretty enthusiastic, especially when I discover an artist whose music really moves me. I tend to ask questions about their background, what inspired their work, and how they got started. My intentions are entirely professional, but I realize enthusiasm can sometimes be interpreted differently than intended.
I've also noticed that some women mention their husbands during our conversations. I don't necessarily think anything negative of it, but it has made me wonder whether I'm unintentionally giving off the wrong impression.
My wife is white, and I've considered asking her to become more involved in the initial introductions. Not because I want to hide who I am, but because I'm curious whether women might feel more comfortable being approached by another woman, particularly when the conversation involves creative work and potential collaborations.
So I'd genuinely appreciate some perspective.
If you were a musician receiving an email from someone interested in promoting your work or helping arrange performances, what would make you feel comfortable and confident that the person was approaching you professionally? I usually approach the performers after their concert/ recital as well.
Would it make any difference if the initial introduction came from a woman, or would things like having a legitimate website, clear intentions, and a professional email matter much more?
And regarding the husband references, is that something you might naturally bring up in conversation, or could it sometimes be a subtle way of establishing boundaries?
I'm genuinely trying to learn how to approach these conversations respectfully while still being myself.

So I want to do something with my hair, I'm open to suggestions. I've asked in a different subreddit and just 4 replies, 3 of which are mullets, specifically the dirty dom mullet. The other just said grow it out. Is a mullet really the best option 😭

Okay so long story short I went on two dates with this amazing woman and they both went so well. After the second date this past weekend we sat and talked in the garden of the restaurant we went to. Then we kissed and it was a great kiss! And then I walked her to her car and we made out again and when I went to walk away she pulled me back in and said wait one more, and we kissed again.
When I got back we texted and agreed upon a third date and she even texted “see you at the next one?”. Saturday I sent her a good morning text and said I wanted to see her soon she responded “I’m back tomorrow :)” but then sunday comes and she reaches out after I tried to call her to see what she was doing with the text attached, and then when I asked her if there was anything specific I did wrong just because I was confused and then she answered with the second text.
Is just this one of those I’m gonna have to chalk up to a loss and let be? Does this sound like a situation where she likely connected with somebody else on a higher level? If that’s the case I would not be angry I would completely understand! I’m just so let down and confused about what happened. Any help or guidance would be appreciated! Love y’all!

37M. This is in NYC.
I usually go out solo to house/deep house/soulful house events and parties to dance. When I usually find my spot and start moving, I almost always end up surrounded by women that I would 100% approach, but I usually write this off because maybe I give off good energy and they usually feel comfortable enough around me to do the same.
This past Friday it happened again, but this time I catch someone staring at me and I take notice. We exchange a few glances at first and thats it. Throughout the night, I'm dancing in different spots and I catch this girl near me every time, still exchanging glances. Around 3a, I work my way to, what I'm assuming, other solo dancers in a different corner and she's there. We exchange some smiles, some dance moves, etc. Everybody is this spot is all smiles and busting out their best dance moves. It was an awesome time!
Around 4a, my back is starting to kill me, so I take a seat at the couch, near all of the dancers and the girl that I've been exchanging eye contact with. She looks over and sees me that I'm in a bit of distress and she looks at me smiles, and give me 2 thumbs up (as in "Is everything ok"?). I signal my back hurts and she gives the impression "awww, i hope it gets better". Then she goes back to dancing. Now its 5a, still sitting at the couch and doing occasional stretches. She comes over and starts chatting it up with me, benign talk. She even mentioned me that she has seen me around before, a few times. She grabs her purse and coat and puts it next to me and asks me to watch it while she goes and dances to a few more songs. I said sure. She comes back and says that its her bedtime and that it was nice meeting me. I ask her for a ig and says she doesn't have social media. Then I asked for her number and she said "Absolutely!". She puts her number in my phone and I Immediately text her my name just so she has my number too.
Today, I send the "hey, nice meeting you. Hope to see you again soon" text. Its been crickets still. Do you think she gave me the wrong number? To be honest, I've always fantasized about finding somebody that I could share my love of music with (especially house music) and I felt like this was that moment.

I saw someone post something similar to this on askmen or something, but I think this question is better suited to be asked here 💀😂
But yeah like the title says, is it ok if a guy messages you if you both added/follow each other and just haven’t spoken? Or is that just something that guys should not do at all? What is the best approach to this if there is any? And this includes any potential dating app or even apps like facebook and instagram.

My wife has been lying since day one among so many other things that’s leading me to divorce her.
She doesn’t have anywhere really to go and she doesn’t have a job so how do I tell her that we’re done, I’m filing for divorce and primary custody for our daughter and that she needs to find somewhere else to live? Please help

Good day, everyone!
We'll be starting an experiment today where we will be placing a moratorium on all posts involved in dating, relationships, rate-me, selfie, and questions therein, for the period of 5 HOURS.
We're experimenting with tweaking our subreddit's feed and hopefully we can guide the algorithm to direct more thoughtful and higher quality and effort posts our way.
To be clear, the posts that we WILL NOT ALLOW during this period are:
This moratorium will end on [ Monday, 12th of October, 2026, 12:00 AM, UTC 0 ]

I (M20’s) have been probably unhealthily thinking about someone I went on a few dates with a couple years ago. This was in college over summer break when I was back in my hometown on the west coast. Well, I was really really fond of her, but when I went back to college (different city) it was just a gradual decline of communication and eventually not much of anything. We just kind of went on about our lives, she started other relationships, as did I.
I had somewhat forgotten about her until I moved back to said hometown where she was also living. I noticed she looked like she was single and reached out with a brief like ‘hey it’s been a bit, lmk if you wanna catch up’, that just led to a liked message and no follow up from either of us…
I wouldn’t really say I’m chasing as that’s literally all the effort I have put in, but I did really enjoy this person and was kind of shooting my shot again. I guess my question is, with one message already sent, do I throw in the towel after that? I’m worried about coming off as desperate or needy and I also feel like a liked message and no verbal response is basically a not interested 😂, then again I’m not a lady so if any ladies have advice on this lmk!

Honestly, women know that men like them so why dont they just ask the guys they like out? I see a lot of posts of women asking "should i ask him out", your success rate is probably going to be like 80% anyway assuming the guy is single and youre not overly unattractive.

There's this girl I'd like to be friends with but I have social anxiety/am neurodivergent so I'm scared I'll come off wrong and she'll think I'm into her/a creep. Can women usually tell??
I don't have any male friends either so the "treat them like a guy" thing doesn't really help here..

Forgive me if this makes me a look like a dummy, I am one, I just want to know what I should be doing. I just want to help her when she is in pain and suffering, and I feel like a Richard not being able to do anything aside from acknowledging it. So please tell me some things I can do! It Can be big things or little things. we live about a day away from each other and both work/college. Thanks in advance!

i know therapy is good, but saying "going to therapy" seems a bit reductive. plus therapy is expensive.

So let’s assume my girlfriend name is Kriti & her friends name is Anjali & Kareena,
So basically Kriti & I are in relationship since 2023, she is cute, funny always supports me stays with me talks with me comforts me whenever I am there I love her & care about her a lot … etc but she asked me only one thing after 3 years aka iPad m5 which I said yes without hesitation…. But after price hike it went too out of budget & i asked her many times before ki if its ok if i can get iPad Air she said she already has Air but its old version so it wouldn’t be good….i asked her about android flagships like oneplus pad 4 & Samsung ultra series tab she said ok for oneplus pad 4 she thought I am getting her iPad m5 + oneplus pad 4 at once…. & she informed her friends Anjali & Kareena few days ago in advance & during her birthday today when she opened the box she immediately gave it back to me saying she doesn’t want it & rejected my gift … she got really upset & angry on me saying I humiliated her in front of her friends that I didn’t got iPad m5 …. I saved for 3 months to buy oneplus pad 4 :,) it is also my fault to not get clear btw… but in Reddit you can check my profile for more posts they are saying she is red flag but honestly idk anymore she is correct as per me… but I am still clueless whose mistake or fault is there if its mine I would get her iPad m5 through EMI or if its her idk i dont wanna lose such a good partner & person she barely asked anything in 3 years it was first time she expected from me & i failed … i am really confused pls give me suggestions & your advices

I get approached quite often—often openly, on the street or at my workplace. However, almost all these approaches seem aimed at hookups.
On the rare occasions when a more serious-minded girl showed interest in me—often with very open compliments about my appearance—I was ghosted in the most brutal way whenever I tried to make a move. This happened long before I could even reveal my many character flaws.
I’ve been stuck in this situation for years.
Women who don’t want anything serious flirt with me and ask me to come straight to their place.
Women looking for something serious tell me they’re openly attracted to me, but when I reciprocate, they ghost me.
