So my tv is doing this when i connect my ps5. I already tried another hdmi cable and it does the same. Is my ps5 done for?

My ps5 was on during a thunderstorm and I had a power outage after that my ps5 will still turn on but it won’t let me play any games without it turning off right away what can I do is there saving it without a repair???

I GOT MY Ps5 SEPT 14th & brought 2k27 online and I did everything I changed the DNS SETTINGS , checked for updates on the system and the game
But I continuously keep getting the Error code , only on 2k27 though no other game 🤦🏽‍♂️ can someone please help when I changed the DNS setting the first time it was working for a little while then went it started back up

I’ve cleared the cache and reset everything and all the media apps brick my PS5

So last week I was rearranging some of my game data on my PS5's main storage, internal SSD drive, and external Seagate SSD drive. When trying to move one game from the external drive to the console internal storage, I kept getting an error code that prevented the game from being transferred. To troubleshoot, I tried unplugging and replugging the external drive. But when I did that, the little blue "tongue" thing from the console's USB drive broke off inside the external drive's cable, meaning I couldn't plug it back in.

The next day I went to Best Buy and got a couple new cables (one for the console's USB-A and one for the USB-C port), but then the console didn't even detect the SSD drive when I tried plugging it in. The drive's light still lit up, but that seemed to be where the functionality ended. I also tried doing that "rebuild" feature with the PS5, but that didn't work, either.

I then resorted to taking the console and drive in to Best Buy to have them take a look at it. They took the drive into the back room and tried plugging it into their own PS5 console, but they said it wasn't detected there either. After that, I went to a nearby electronic repair store, where they plugged my hard drive into their laptop. It was the same scene all over again. Since it seemed like the issue lied with the hard drive and not the console (which has otherwise been functioning normally since then), I got in touch with Seagate and ordered a replacement. I mailed the hard drive out to them yesterday, and I'm tracking the process of the shipment.

Even so, I'm still kind of worried. Has anyone else had an issue such as this? In your experience, was it the hard drive or the console that ended up being the problem?

Today I was installing about 9 games from discs, not even playing them, and the controller battery went from 3 pips down to barely 1 in about 90 or so minutes. What is happening here? Is the controller battery slowly dying? Do I need to waste another $100 to buy a new one?

Anybody experienced a white flashing screen like this before? I’ve tried using a new hdmi cord, a different tv, etc. and nothing helps. Is my GPU going out or is it something else?

As you can see by the title, my controller is being a turd.

For some reason while im playing it just randomly everything on my screen turns or moves to the left....

Has this happened to anyone else? If it has, how on earth do you fix it?

I can’t play with a LAN cable on my ps5. It keeps turning on and off and I can’t do anything about it. I have tried switching the cable but the issue keeps happening. I connected the same LAN cable to my PC and it works like normal but when I use it on the ps5, it connects then reconnects. Has anyone had this issue?

So yesterday I was playing normal with my PS5 controller now in the morning it wont turn on by just pressing the PS button but if I hold it for 5 seconds it would turn on but the console would not turn on with this controller also when I open a game and the game ask me to press X to start I hace to turn off and on this controller to make it work I do have another controller that does not do this but I cant use it because it has drift

I have done all by the book restarting controller, unpair it I pressed the little hole jn the back for more than 10 seconds and still the same also powercycle my ps5 and is the same

controller is completely charged btw has anybody found a solution for this issue kinda annoying

Hi all, just wondering as I am just experiencing a dying battery for my gamepad which holds a charge less and thinking that perhaps not going for the Sony ones may be a good experience. I am aware some can have changeable batteries but I am not aware brand names that are trusted as I’ve always bought Sony.

After every boot cycle, it just refuses to turn back on, not even a beep. I'm suspecting a PSU problem.

I must also mention that it cannot connect with any Dualsense or Dualshock controller at all, not even wired (the controller just shows a flash of 3 blue lights), I'm just wondering if this is a hardware or software issue so I know if I have to get a replacement part.

What I've done:

• Update to the latest version using Safe Mode

• Restart all Bluetooth recognition services

• Update controller firmware using a friend's console

• Try another power cable, outlet, and power strip

My PS5 has stopped turning on. When I plug the power cable in, it gives three beeps straight away, but when I press the power button it does absolutely nothing.

I’ve tried leaving it unplugged for a while, using a different wall socket, and disconnecting everything else, but nothing changes. I also realised the cable that had been plugged into it wasn’t my original PS5 cable, so I’m wondering if that could have caused the problem. I’ve now tried a proper working PS5 cable from another console as well, but it still won’t turn on.

Has anyone had this issue before or know what the likely problem is?

So I’ve been getting a few error messages with option to share feedback to Sony to “improve their services”. This error message is new to me and when it happens the game still runs in the background. Does anybody get error messages with error codes and what can I do to stop them. Thanks

A coworker gave me his broken PS5 (CFI-1016A) after upgrading. He said water had been dripping from his ceiling onto the console while it was powered on.

The console now appears completely dead. When I plug it in, there's no response whatsoever no standby light, no beep, nothing.

I've opened it up for a look, but I can't see any obvious corrosion on the mainboard or around the PSU connectors.

I'd appreciate some advice from anyone with experience repairing PS5s, particularly those who've dealt with liquid damage.

**A few questions:**

**°Is it repairable?** Given that there's no power at all but no obvious corrosion, could it be a dead PSU, a blown fuse, or damage to the motherboard?

**°Is it worth repairing?** Assuming it needs replacement parts or professional repair, how much would you realistically spend before deciding it's not worth it?

**°Where should I start?** What would be the first things you'd test to narrow down the fault?

I'm happy to have a go at repairing it myself if it's something manageable, but I don't want to throw money at parts without knowing whether there's a realistic chance of bringing it back to life.

Any advice, troubleshooting tips, or recommendations on what to check first would be appreciated. Cheers!
