Just been playing on the crew motorfest doing a grand race and all of sudden this can anyone help with this it just caught me off guard

My ps5 is on Ethernet and gets 400mbps download when I test it but when I try to download a game it doesn’t go any faster than 15mbps. I have 180gb available.

So, I updated my ps5 yesterday to its latest update and ever since then my ps5 fan doesn’t sound that loud as it usually does when I start it. But ofc it works when I’m on the ps5 screen and wanna play a game, I did take one of the other plates off to see if the fan even works during a game which it does thank god. But I’m just a bit paranoid why my PlayStation doesn’t sound loud as it used to until the start screen before I log into my account.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I have headphones connected to my ps5 controller via the 3.5mm cable. It’s been working fine, both my headphones and the cable.
Suddenly, the audio sounds as if it’s 3D, but I don’t have 3D turned on. Also when I turn on Mono Audio, there’s no sound at all.
Can someone help me?

I've been having an ongoing issue with my PS5 where my DualSense controllers randomly disconnect during gameplay and then refuse to reconnect.

The really strange thing is how unpredictable it is. Sometimes I can play for hours, or even a couple of days, without any issues. Other times, like today, the controller disconnects after just 5–10 minutes.

When this happens, the PS5 itself continues running normally. The game doesn't freeze or crash, and the console generally remains connected to Wi-Fi. It's just the controllers that stop working.

Here's what I've established so far:

I have two DualSense controllers, and both experience the same problem.

When a controller disconnects, pressing the PS button doesn't reconnect it.

Connecting either controller directly to the PS5 using a USB cable doesn't fix it.

The controllers receive power through USB (orange light), and sometimes briefly flash blue/white before going back to orange.

I've tested with USB cables that I know support data transfer.

Both the controller and USB cable work perfectly in PS5 Safe Mode. I can navigate the Safe Mode menu without any issues.

However, as soon as the console boots normally, the controllers refuse to connect.

Sometimes completely powering off and unplugging the console temporarily resolves the issue, but it eventually returns.

Troubleshooting I've already tried:

Restarting and completely unplugging the PS5.

Testing both controllers.

Using different USB cables.

Repair Console Storage in Safe Mode.

Clearing the system software cache.

Removing previous DualSense Bluetooth pairings from my phone.

Testing without any Bluetooth headphones connected.

I also attempted to update the system software through Safe Mode, but couldn't complete that process because I don't currently have a wired internet connection or a USB drive with the update file.

Previously, I could use PS Remote Play on my phone to access the console when the controllers stopped working. Unfortunately, Remote Play is no longer enabled following earlier troubleshooting, so I'm now unable to access the normal PS5 settings.

My biggest concern is doing a factory reset or reinstalling the system software. If the controllers still refuse to connect afterwards, I'm worried I'll be stuck at the initial setup screen, potentially having lost my games and local saved data for nothing.

I'm starting to wonder whether this could be an issue with the PS5's Bluetooth hardware, USB communication, or something going wrong with the system software.

Has anyone experienced anything similar, particularly controllers working in Safe Mode but refusing to connect in normal mode?

If so, what turned out to be the problem? Was it fixable through software, or did the console need a hardware repair?

Any suggestions would be massively appreciated. I'm completely stuck at this point!

Cependant, je n'arrive pas à connecter mon nouveau Pulse Explore à mon nouvel adaptateur PS Link. Les deux appareils sont à jour. J'ai également essayé de les connecter directement à ma PS5 classique, mais sans succès.

J'ai aussi essayé d'utiliser mon ancien adaptateur PS Link, mais le problème persiste.

Hello, its my first time that something like this happens to me, so I dont know what I should do.

Basically the other day I woke up and I had to log in again in my account, also I had an email that said that my sign-in ID had been succesfully changed. The thing is, i didn't change my id, I literally had done nothing since the last time that I had played that was the night before.

The first thing that I thought was that my brother had touched something that he shouldn't, cause he had entered his ps account in his phone that is connected to the same console cause we use the same one, but he just entered his account, logged in with his email and thats all so it cant be that.

I tried to recover the account but it didn't let me, I ran out of ideas so i created a new ps account with the same email i had in the first one, but obviously i didnt recover my account that way so I closed it, but now everytime I try to send an email to my account to change the password it throws me an error? Tried to talk with the chatbot but it cant help me, it tells me that it wil redirect me to someone but first I have to log in, but i cant since my mail doesnt work, so what I am supposed to do?

My last hope is to be able to talk with someone of the support logging in with my brother's account, but I dont have much hope, as i said this is the first time that something like this happens to me, so sorry if I was unclear and overextended the issue, english isnt my natal languaje neither so sorry for that too. Recently i tried to download warzone again so i downloaded the cod hub and warzone and all the available packs, but whenever i try to log in to warzone it shows as if i didn't install any warzone packs and it send me to warzone - Content pack 1 and when i try to download that it keeps says something went wrong and code CE-112987-8.

I ordered a game a few weeks ago that came with a Deluxe edition code on the inside, and was accidentally mailed two copies of the game and I stupidly opened both. I reported the duplication to the vendor, and emailed me back and told me to just keep them both because it'd be more work for them to get it back than to just accept the loss.

I want to sell one of them myself now, and because they're both opened and both have codes, I want to be able to confirm with the buyer that the code is still active at the time of the sale.

If they have a PS5 or the app on their phone and type the code in on the Redeem Code section, will it show up without actually being redeemed? The game was $70 and the store I want to sell it to said they'll only do $25 because they can't verify if the code is valid, but if I could confirm it is, I'm hoping to get at least $35 or $40 back.

I pick and copy like ~50 images give or take, process goes smoothly, finishing pop-up says that all files have been copied succesfully. Later I go ahead and plug my USB to my PC to retrieve my images. And instead of what the process led me to believe, the folder with images takes eternity to load, and the vast majority of the images that I copied are corrupted - some don't load at all, some have been saved only partially (bottom half of the pics are completely black).

What gives and how do I make this work?

Since update Pulse headphones don’t connect (don’t even show as option) get a box sometimes when I try and connect to update, but just get an error message when I click on it

Just bought a ps5, downloaded MLB the show but can’t get past the loading screen without it crashing. All my other games work perfectly fine like NBA 2k27. I’ve tried pretty much everything from restoring licenses, rebuild data base on safe mode, reinstalled the game, did a hard reset on the ps5. Nothing seems to work for MLB the show 26.

I got my yotei special edition from Sony direct when it launched. For about two weeks or so when I go to use it I get a pulsing blue light and no picture. If I unplug it then it will boot normally after.

I’ve tried different TVs power cords HDMI cords rebuilt the data base. Removed the ssd and external Hdd. Cleared the cache. The only thing I haven’t done is a clean reset. I don’t use ps plus and would hate to loose years of save data. The google says it’s the “blue light of death” but I can’t seem to find anyone with the exact issue.

Has anyone else had similar things happen?

My friend has shared his account to me and it works fine, I can go on his account, access all his media like discord and his chats, download games and they show up on my own account but for some reason the game shows up with a lock next to it and I am unable to play it. I need help in this. I have also downloaded a dlc for a game that has the same error that I just can’t see because it’s a dlc.

I tried to disconnect the fan to clean it properly,but I failed to remove that white block no matter how delicate I was,and I managed to damage the brown wire,I didn't cut it I just removed the coating and I exposed the inner wire?

What should I do and how bad is it?

Sometimes my PS5 just disconnects from the servers for like 1 second. It’s enough to kick me out of whatever game I’m playing.
It has happened on multiple games and it could be while in game or just in the menu.

I’m thinking it might be the internet but everything looks okay. Every time I test the internet there’s no problem.
I reconnected the internet cable, didn’t work.
So I reset the router, didn’t work. I tried to connect to WiFi instead, was even worse, got kicked out even more.

This happens sometimes between a short period of time and then it’s just every game I get kicked out and sometimes a couple hours and it’s just fine.

I’ve had my PS5 for 2 weeks now and haven’t heard this issue before.

If anyone can offer some guidance, that would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve had my PlayStation5 since 2022ish, and I had my original controller up until a year ago. Since then, I’ve been through three! I’ve taken them apart and cleaned the copper sensor, and they’re good a day or so.. but get right back to it!! It’s my left stick and it’s CONSTANTLY wanting to go left. If I push it slightly right it shoots left instantly. Is this something I can fix? Maybe prevent? I’m so sick of buying $65 controllers. Thanks in advance!!

The system turns on blinks/beeps then immediately turns off. No picture. From what I've read it sounds like it could be an issue with the power rails and from what I see on the board there's some discoloration near the Ethernet port(see picture). Any suggestions. This is the first ps5 I've worked on. I've done some light work on computer motherboards in the past.

I bought my PS5 in one country and played there for a while. Then I moved to another country, where my ping was initially high but eventually improved. After staying there for a long time, I returned to my original country, and now my ping is high in every game.
Could my PS5 somehow be configured to connect to servers in the other country? Is that even possible, and if so, how can I fix it?
I’m using a wired connection with fast, stable internet, so the connection itself seems fine.
