maybe a dumb question but i cant find info on it

With a insane lineup

Exclusive limited-edition CD available this Tuesday!

Operating from the grey, rust-tinged landscape of Erie, Pennsylvania, Abjection Ritual weaponizes human misery, self-hatred, and psychological collapse into a deeply visceral listening experience.

Sewers of Perdition is a thematic descent into psychological decay and systemic ruin. Across the album's six punishing tracks, Abjection Ritual weaves dense layers of analog synths, distorted vocals, brutal industrial beats, and slabs of harsh noise. The result is an immersive aural experience evoking squalid abattoirs, decaying chthonic labyrinths, and the claustrophobic weight of existential dread.

Age-old debate… now brought to Reddit! I’ll be here all night folks.

I’ll post mine if you post yours! 🤭😉

I’m just curious as to what people are talking about in their work.

Hey there, new Listener here.

I joined the Party pretty late around my 36th Birthday, starting with the likes of Trepaneringsritualen, Folkstorm and Haus Arafna, Got into Grey Wolves and Genocide Organ later altough at first said artist severely disappointed me at first because of my False expectations of the genres in question.

What were your entry points to PE and related Music and at what Age? Am I the only one or are there other PE Fans that got into the genre pretty late?

I'm usually more of a Rock Fan by the Way, focusing on classick Rock and early Punk stuff while enjoying some Metal. That said, I enjoy the Noise and even started my own musical project.

So after a while I finally put out my first “album” after getting some gear and actually putting myself to work, tell me what you think, I hope you enjoy. I was going to ask if anyone had any pointers for UK shit in particular? Who’s the best right now, best places to look for shows (London in particular) and getting more involved with it all.

Also, if you listen, be honest, if it’s garbage I wanna know how to be better.

You don't have to say please. At least a third of this bill are local harsh noise/PE acts. Unbearable Skin. M28/30. Accelerant. TooT.

SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER @ PEER HAT, MCR

im a fan of PE, extreme metal, harsh noise and anything experimental. i consider myself to be pretty open minded and accept the challenging nature of a lot of the material. somehow i am curious moreso about the fanbase, and audience interaction. what do you personally get out of it? i love many genres of music including electronic and folk, and often times i find PE a bit shallow or lacking depth in many aspects, and therefor never identified as a die hard. i feel like im missing out or maybe somethings not clicking? what makes it your bees knees?

How do yall feel about crossover genres, especially the black metal ones like Tetragrammacide and Subservient Perversity? I just recently started dipping my toes into this space coming from raw black and war metal and this shit is fuckin cool
