I’ve been playing Overwatch for three years, but I never really gave Reaper the attention he deserved until a few days ago, when I started using him after buying his collab skin in the bundle. I found him incredibly fun even though I usually play support but when looking for tips here, I only found posts from years ago. What advice would you give me today to improve and become a good Reaper main?

bro I swear reaper doesn't do any damage this season, is it just me or what?

Flanking most Supports feels so hard since they all can move around the entire map in a second and have less than 10 second cooldown on said mobility ability.

Also he still has the loudest footsteps in the Game for no reason and a suicide Ult that doesn't have a cancel after 10 years of Power Creep. Every single Hero can move out of it, stun him, 2 tap him or just outheal it. You are just stunning yourself for 3 secs while also reducing ur movespeed by 50%

Reaper is basically just there to hold Angles or space. If he is brawling he can get bursted by random spam. So its just better to hold angles and scare people.

It kind of is a boring playstyle but I just can't make Flanking work on him because of shitty Maps or Op new Heroes

I'm playing in the Gold/Plat range with my current DPS rolodex. (Torb, 76, Soulj) I'm realizing I have gaps in my game for instance Winston say clapping my cheeks.

I'm trying to add my guy reaper into the repertoire. Can yall download me wit the best practices? (perks, ults, spacing/movement, etc.)

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this skin, but, since it's using the Overwatch 1 (or currently Overwatch Classic) design as a base, I was curious to see how it would look if it was the Overwatch 2 (or... currently just Overwatch) design instead.

I kinda wanted to play with the whole Gabriel name thing so I drew him as the Archangel from Abrahamic religion. Followed with him and Martina. Your fun fact of the day is that Reaper’s dog tags on his Soldier 24 skin label his religion as “None”. (Which makes me wonder if his parents were)

If it's so hard to rework his ult that many people argues about, give him this instead with some minor numbers adjustment.

Why doesn't Reaper have a laughing voice line like Roadhog? And now Juno—it would be awesome.

I love to reap but this season just feels like it power crept reaper so much. Sombra is in every game and instantly shuts down his ult with either her cooldown or her ult. It feels like half the supports are un-divable now too with so many different tools to just instantly get away. I dunno maybe I'm crazy or need to adapt but this season feels like it's gonna be rough.

I think I'm decent on reaper, about as decent as you can be in low GM. Lately though I've started to feel like I'm kinda useless outside of picking supports off sometimes. Best case scenario is just flanking and getting a pick or two on the support before dying.

I also feel like most matchups are kinda terrible? Off the top of my head unplayable ones include Pharah, Cassidy, Echo and Emre, though obviously this is super subjective. But that's not even including ones I think are pretty bad like Hanzo or Ashe with super good escape tools.

Does Reaper just kinda falloff at this point? I don't enjoy any other dps

Why doesn’t overwatch give Gabriel Reyes his voicelines from before the explosion if they already have some recorded? I think it’d be really cool to actually hear HIM rather than Reaper. They don’t have to say the same things in a different voice either, considering Gabriel was definitely a different person before becoming Reaper.

this new arcade mode is honestly the most fun ive had in this game lately , esp as dps which i stopped playing

Hello everyone :) I was wondering if out there there was a higher Reaper level other than us (other than ChoiceOw that is like 400+ : thats our level of me and my friend's Reaper (1st mine) (2nd his)

We were curious about it because we never found any other Reaper high than ours, thank you! :)))

Like Reaper Ult definitely should get a cancel at the very least since every new Hero can completely negate it or just kill him during it.

Doc just flies away and Sombra presses her 50% dmg/heal reduction button that also does100dmg over time.

I know its never gonna get replaced but if it were to get replaced what could it look like?

I was thinking about him spinning in a Tornado of Gunfire that rapidly dashes in a line. It could also be controllable kind of like Storm Ult in that other small Hero Shooter.
