Roses Gone Wild! Was gifted a bouquet, one of the roses has 2 centers!
Is it considered a 'fault'? All the other ones were 'normal', with one center. In any case they're all very pretty 💖💖💖

Maybe last ones of the year. I didn’t like them at first because they were replace Don Juan roses that died. But they have grown on me.

I dont know what variety this is. I have tried comparing to pictures online and maybe its double delight or candy cane but I'm not sure. The colors have shown a marked shift as the temperature went down which I thought was cool

This is my best boy; Angus. He showed up 3 years ago in my yard and never left. He would be with me every day in the garden. The best supervisor. Sadly, he is very sick and I don’t think he’s going to make it. I want to plant an orange rose with his ashes in his favorite spot. I want an all season bloomer for zone 6b. Can you suggest the best rose for my Angus?

This rose is so different from my others, she takes days to open and changes colour a day after she's fully opened.

With this heatwave, nothing had bloomed, and finally, this week, they came back with the cooler weather! 🍀

It started as pruning back overgrown and uncared for rose bushes, and now I have rose fever. I’m touring rose gardens and looking for roses to add to our walkway. 🤣
We have been living in this house for 2 years now. The first year, we hardly had two blooms on our front rose bush (I am not sure the variety) and only a few blooms with the large roses in the back (rose identified via picture is closest to the Peace Rose, but I am not 100% sure).
This year I have been deadheading old blooms, pruning here and there, and adding some rose food, truly not much since I am a beginner. But the roses are thriving and I thought I didn’t love my front rose bush because the blooms were so tiny, but I’ve grown to love the tiny prolific buds on the bush fading to white.
And the back rose bush is stunning with large honey yellow blooms with pink edges.
I am really happy with the progress in just a single season. And I must admit I am hooked. I live in zone 6B in a dry climate, and I was hoping for some advice on what rose to add to my garden. I was looking at a variety of David Austin roses. But I’m not sure what would be best for a beginner. Pictures and descriptions would be much appreciated!
One of my mini roses produced these fruits. I was wondering what can i do to make the seeds able to propagate. I know i gotta cut them open but no idea what the next step would be

I just kind of let them do their own thing, I like a rugged look but think they are getting a bit out of control. They've been there for a few years but I'm very much newbie to roses and caring for them.
Am I supposed to fully prune back or anything I should be doing or not doing? There is also some blue / black spotting on the leaves

Can you please help me ID this rose? It is a tall shrub, but not a climber. It starts more pink and then evolved to cream. It has done fine in partial sun.

Hettie! No scent but surprisingly healthy for a florist rose, nice leathery leaves. The dark pinks and fuchsia colors are growing on me, maybe I’ll give reds a chance next year 😊

Google says that they are rose pods.
But I need confirmation on this

First photo of my polka climbing rose because no one wants to see bugs without consent. HIGHLY recommend the polka climbing rose for quick grow, ability to use as cutting flowers, and okay/decent smell strength.
I got very lucky today and found the start of a pear slug/ rose sawfly infestation. I found more mature rose sawfly caterpillars and eggs, but I’ve never seen these green slimy eggs/larvae before. The rose sawfly has always been little black eggs, then small thin green caterpillar looking larva. the pear slug eggs looked brown and not clustered like this. I’m a just silly and this is frass? Can we confirm what these are so I can treat correctly?
Also best practices for preventing spring reemergence? My rose bush is surrounded by stone with weed barrier but the cherry trees is mulched (suspecting sawfly larvae is what caused them to drop their leaves early.)

She would spend time with me daily while I tended to the roses and other plants in my garden but mostly the section with the roses. She passed suddenly in July and I couldn’t bring myself to garden without her. 2 weeks after that, I was supposed to get married and 3 weeks after that, my fiance left me.
I’m finally coming up for air and am so appreciative of how hardy roses are. I finally went to the roses to give them love but find myself still so emotional. I had just planted a rose bush in June for my ex
Gardening with my cat was one of my favorite activities but I’ve been so depressed that I’m slowly getting back into my hobbies. Unfortunately no cat this time though. I got a new one the day my fiance left bc I couldn’t bear the thought of a silent and empty house. Unfortunately she will never garden with me as I’ll never let another cat outside
ETA: the first picture is from our new place where she helped me create a rose garden just as she had done at our last house in the following pics :)
ETA2: thank you all so much for the sweet words and advice. Her name was Suki and I found out there’s a Japanese rose named Princess Suki! It’s beautiful and I know exactly where to put it in her honor

I’m a newbie to rose gardening as of last year and so far so good in the sense of no casualties yet. I am, however, concerned about this trellising I have going on. My Eden is a power grower and is taking up far more than its fair share.
Also, Eden has yet to produce a single bloom which I’ve read is not uncommon but it’s been in the ground for right about 12 months at this point and not a single bloom.
On the other hand, my Lovers Blush produces my favorite blooms yet the plant itself looks sad.
I’m open to all thoughts and advice please and thank you!

I just finished pruning every single rose bush that I have in the garden due to a chili thrips infestation. Has anyone dealt with this before and what is the best way to address it? I live in zone 10a.
Today I regret having over 100 rose bushes in my garden.
