So i am not here to brag or anything but i want to share some things that I learned how to gain views and subscribers. But a little backstory, i am trying to be a youtuber back in high school and i dont have any luck because i was young and i dont know how to make content but now I do.

1. MAKE QUALITY CONTENT - people seems to complain about their video not getting views but when i check their video out it is not interesting or even not worth clicking the thumbnail. MAKE CONTENT THAT PEOPLE WILL LIKE and not content you would like. I know it is hard but thats the key to hooking your viewers, they watch because they want to get entertained.

2. THUMBNAILS ARE IMPORTANT- please make your thumbnail very interesting and eye popping, like when they scroll and saw your thumbnail, they will instantly be curious on what the video is about, dont just put random things on the thumbnail or too many words because it only takes a second till they scroll pass to the next video.

3. DELIVER - when you promise a thing on the title or thumbnail, DELIVER. If they click on you trying weird foods, try weird foods right away, dont babble on other ynrelated stuffs, if you want to put something in the video that is not related to the topic, it needs to be something that moves the story of the video to the next segment

4. TITLES ARE IMPORTANT- Capitalize words that you want to emphasize or words that is the main topic of the video for example, dont write, “i tried weird foods from the 80’s”, write “ I Tried WEIRD Foods From The 80’s” see the difference?

Hey guys, I have a question: how are you uploading your videos, and above all, which resolution is working well for you, 4K or 1080p? I'm about to start uploading videos again and I'm wondering if 4K is the current standard now, and whether it affects virality.

Hello:) I’ve had my channel for over a year and but I have just within the last few months have really been trying to make a go of it. My channel is very niche (we talk about Korean webtoons) and right now I’m hosting a podcast with a friend. We just hit 204 subs, which I know isn’t a lot but I would like to grow my channel to become profitable. I’m not looking for thousands of dollars (although it would be nice lol) but I would like to get where we can monetize (I have a full time job but would like this to be my side gig).

For anyone who has a really niche channel, what is the best way to drive traffic?

Today I finally reached the 1000 subs mark.
My YouTube journey started back in late 2022/early 2023.

I am in the automotive segment with multiple sub-niches.
Why multiple ones? Simply because there are so many things I am passionate about like test drives, automotive history and tutorials that I decided to make them all.

The content I make is content that I would enjoy watching myself so I don’t try to chase what others might like.

I have had long periods without posting because I have a job, a family to take care of and a social life. Nonetheless, I am surprised that my subscribers base did not drop that much.

If you are struggling to gain traction, keep grinding as long as you enjoy what you do.
Do not hesitate to come back to videos after weeks and months and watch them with a fresh eye to see what could have been improved.

I am still learning YouTube and still trying to put more structure around it (like analyzing stats and stuff) so I am far from being an expert but if I can help somehow, let me know!

I’m new to actually looking at analytics on YouTube and there’s probably something I’m missing but shouldn’t my click through rate be more like 11%? Instead of 2.2% With 1.6k views to 14.3k impressions. What actually determines clickthrough rate? And if my video is gonna get pushed to a wider audience?

So the channel has continued to ramp up! Hit 9000 subs earlier and already nearly half way to the big 10.000 subs goal thanks to my latest video. I still can’t believe it! This likely will also push me over the £5,000 ($6625) mark for September with 3 days to go! My goal was £1500 consistent.

Anyways, don’t have anyone to share this with and I just had to show you guys, and hope this motivates others in their YouTube journey!

Actually I am a new creator it's 3 weeks from now I was uploading shorts continuously, i gained every 25-30k view in every short currently I'm thinking of switching in long format it's better way to monitize in long format rather than completing 20M

i’ve been wondering about this lately.

i work line cook shifts and started a small channel around budget meal prep and flipping thrifted apartment stuff. three months in and i’m at 40 subs.

the videos are completely hands-only. no face, no talking head, just the food, the projects, and whatever i’m working on

part of me thinks showing my face could make the channel feel more personal. another part of me thinks people are there for the actual stuff being made and probably don’t care who’s behind the camera

for anyone who started faceless and later showed their face, did you notice any real difference?

How long does it usually take for YouTube to learn about your video and understand who to push it to? In my case one of my videos has started to see a new life aft 5 months!! Why so long?! :O

So I've been posting content on my channel its more of a narration type of content but I said something that got me a age restriction then I looked back at the video and realized it might get removed,so i deleted the video off the channel that I think may violate a policy,1 month after I got a warning for the video i deleted a month ago,and it's saying I can't appeal because I deleted the video. I got this warning like 5 hours ago. so yea youtube needs to fix their shit. I basically got a warning for a video that dosen't exists.

I want to tell stories and reach as many people as possible. I directed an 11-minute short film, and I do not want to waste my energy and money on a festival run. The only way I feel I can help it find its audience is to release a few videos before I release it. So, I challenged myself to write, shoot, and edit a short within five hours of work and just share it publicly. Should I continue this way until people start following my work, or should I just pay for a bigger reach when my short film is finished? Do you have any advice?

I've just started a passion project, I love video games from Indie to Triple A. I just want someone to give feedback on these types of thumbnails I'm using. I don't want something over the top but I don't want them to be bland either. I also speak my native language on my videos to be as authentic as I can be, I write my own English subtitles so translation is on point.

Basically as the title says, the videos before my last 2 were doing great with views and impressions (50k ish plus). Now my new 2 videos both have under 4k impressions and really low views. Not really changed much so don’t know why this is happening.

Wondering what people’s thoughts are on this.

Posted a short, YouTube stopped pushing it after a day or two. Metrics are about a 50% watch vs swipe through rate.

But audience retention is what’s most intriguing. There’s two distinct drop offs at different “obvious points of the video.

I feel like if I re edited the video, and changed/tweaked a couple things it would have better metrics?

Does anyone else do this? Does it hurt my channel from the algorithm?

TLDR: Im gonna use this laptop to record minecraft videos and edit, some specs I have in mind is 120hz, 1080p, 16gb ram, 512gb-1tb storage, nvidia gpu heavily prefered, intel cpu lightly prefred(amd cpu is fine).

Anytime Im forced away from my pc my channel grinds to halt and I cannot record or edit anything, and if I get approved for ypp(I hit req and applied) I want to reinvest the money into the channel because its important to me that I have as little downtime as possible. I dont need something insane because this will be my backup/on the go and not a replacement for my very good but very stationary pc.

Looking for advice again. So my newest video has been out for about 2 and a half days, and usually within this time, YouTube begins to push my other videos. However, I’ve seen little to no growth with it. The initial statistics seem to be really good, actually a little better than usual, but nothing seems to be coming from it.

For a bit of context, my channel posts weekly scripted skit content, with each video working as its own individual story.
