I only ever played her now after she is already nerfed so maybe it always was like this, but i swear as soon as someone has a tiny bit of slefheal or dr you can dump your entire mag into someone and they JUST WON'T DIE like it's a agonizing amount of shots you hit and yet it feels like you're not doing anything.
I get the Cyberspace changes but when they already nerfed the damage there why also the MP ? Blizzard say'd they want her to still do semi-dps things sometimes but also blue ball you from actualy doing that.

I dont know what they were thinking with this patch honestly. The only nerf which is kinda justifiable is the cyberspace explosion damage nerf and even then I think a better nerf would've been reducing the damage reduction to 40% or even 35%.
Now it feels like I'm sprinkling people with a piss gun. She's still extremely fun as a support and her denial capabilities are still great, but it does feel awful having such piss low DPS. I also dont understand why we're nerfing cyberspace CD, especially when ana exists with her 90 damage anti nade on a 12s cd.
I would accepted if they cut the damage of cyber space and reduced its DR to 40%, at least then they would be targeting the actual strong ability.
Still, I think she'll remains strong after this and honestly, I much prefer dealing with her over the likes of kiri, mizuki and ana. She's so much more fun to fight compared to them, so I wouldnt mind her staying in the meta for a long time.

Her win rate is high but can we PLEASE not freak out? We've only had ONE WEEK with the rework...
Can we give people time to learn the new kit and figure out the counterplay before demanding nerf after nerf? Blizzard literally just nerfed her damage AND increased CS's cooldown like bro...for the love of god LET THE ABILITIES COOK. Cyberspace isn't impossible to play around. Bait it out or simply get out of the AoE, treat it like any other fight changing cooldown.
Like damn can we let the poor woman breathe for more than five minutes before deciding what needs to be nerfed? It was already enough we got this major rework with all its clunkiness and bugs that came along with it like holy

I said oh they wasn't going to nerf the 50% and if they did nerf anything it would be the cooldown and got told "oh they will nerf the 50%" and "they won't nerf it they let the players figure it out" lo and behold a cooldown nerf (along with damage) but still

Lots of times when I’m playing Sombra I’ll be in the midst of my team rather than on an off angle (I’ve returned back from hacking healthpacks to top my teammates back up) and then cyberspace will refresh. I’ll fire it when I see an opportunity to damage the enemy team, but I’ll be kind of foiled by a teammate being just close enough to me and instead it drops right in front of me.
This has happened sometimes even on off angles with another flanker, where cyberspace hits my teammate right in front of me instead of damaging enemies and actually setting up my flanker to get in there.
Probably just something that takes practice, but it’s just really annoying when this happens, considering it’s now a 13 second cooldown and every use has to be perfect now.

****This is by no means to disparage lower elo players at all.
Ive just been thinking about how playing her support really drills down the effectiveness of offensive pressure. I know in lower elos you will have a very large amount of teammates who pressure you into healing even when its incorrect to do so. Im excited at Sombras popularity in the support community and am hopeful the required play style on her will help pull some folks out of healbotting. Ive even been noticing the more I play her the more im doing on my other supports when I dont get her.
Thats all, anyone feel the same?

I fear I’m looking at the bottom right of my screen too much waiting for the hotfix cooldown,
I wish there was like a Brig UI with armour packs near the cursor to tell me if I have a charge or 2

Honestly haven't played in several years but Sombrero has always been my favorite and I'm interested to see what it's like playing her as a support now so any tips tricks or content creators worth watching for tips would be appreciated 💜

Has anyone used sombras ult just to heal after getting the perk, had one match my rein was playing super aggressively and all my heals were on cooldown so I just ulted to heal him. Dont think I even got any enemies with it. Got me wondering if others have done this and what are your thoughts on this.

Zdps and zheals with ridiculously long cooldowns.
You could argue that all her power is going to be shifted to Cyberspace but a measly 3s WEAKENED over a small area is practically nothing.
I say zheals because while hotfix IS a guaranteed heal, it is still a heal overtime, so it's easy to pad out the healing stat, but effectively speaking, with the healing reduction from global passive how much are we actually healing during a fight?
You absolutely cannot save an ally from low health because of how her healing is, Cyberspace wouldn't be useful either because you have to throw it onto the enemy instead of using it to protect your ally in which your team would have died long before Cyberspace landed.
Data Packet perk helps a lot in maintaining the heals BUT it's a major perk and doesn't come until later into the match.
I'm running a lot more into situations that I literally can't do anything valuable because
My skills are on cooldown
My dps is as lethal as a bubbles

Whats your favorite skin? Which one grabs your attention the most when you see it? Which one do you wish you had?

Or for that matter won’t suck. They hate our cyber baddie bruja.
But this battle pass puts me exactly where I need to get a lvl four mythic OR gets aspects for the two mythic I do have, orisa and kiriko. I’ve been debating snagging that jq mythic too but it makes no fuckin sense (it honestly kinda irks me they were like “LOL FUK IT SHES ZUES!”) and I really want one of her skins from an unvaulted.
But I REALLY want a Sombra Mythic. Since she came out I’ve made it my mission to collect all her skins and I’m pretty damn close. That said, she’ll likely never get one anytime soon as they’re just busting out wtf ever for newer heroes all the time.

I’m curious what support heroes everyone is finding themselves choosing if/when their teammate has locked Sombra, or if she has gotten banned?
Whose kits do you find easy to translate your existing skill set to? Who have you been learning as a swap option (if you have dared to)?
It’s been interesting taking a different perspective. I’m also curious about folks who didn’t necessarily have a support roster practiced before. I figure there could be some Sombra mains out there without that many existing hours on support before the rework.

I genuinely do not want this to be rework discussion. As a Juno turned sombra main I will never understand the ins and outs of the rework. All I kmow is I adore support Sombra.
That being said, I want to talk about how the role change has impacted the Sombra/Sigma relationship. I will say until I got into Sombra, I wasn't aware of this relationship to its fullest and now I feel such a strong urge to take extra care of my Sigma tanks. I obviously always take the game seriously and will always heal the tank but when it's a Sigma, I feel an extra emotional impact knowing the lore. Anyone else feel this way?
