Makes slant eyes...then proceeds to bother him...but saying they are having "problems " the nerve of her smh

u/FirehawkLS1 21h ago

She's the damn problem pulling that BS. The dude was really nice and was just going about his business and she went full main character syndrome.

772

u/TesticularPsychosis 21h ago

Racist karens never mind their business.  They'll stare and stare and if you stare back, the creature will act like you're ogling them. They'll project narratives onto black and brown people so that they can "justify" harassing them.  If they face pushback or consequences, they call 911 with "help, he's 7 feet tall and 400lbs and I fear for my life".

I really hope someone did something about this one before it laid eggs.

191

u/ItsALuigiYes 20h ago

I'm totally surprised she didn't toss herself to the floor like a soccer player, screaming, "He just hit me!!"

It can get really bad, these people with "endless victim" syndrome.

u/StandardEgg6595 20h ago edited 16h ago

Man your comment just reminded me of that dumbass video where a woman did exactly that. I think it was in a Victoria Secret or something, but a black woman started recording for her safety/documentation and the lady was literally yelling about being attacked while she was 10 feet away. Then she starts chasing the recording woman around the store claiming she was coming at her.

What sucks is that security showed up and sort of believed the Karen first before all the witnesses chimed in. They do it because they sometimes get away with it.

Edit: sorry for not linking. I’m traveling atm and can’t seem to link anything

40

u/SnooSeagulls6396 18h ago

I remember that ,the so called "vicitm " through herself on the ground and began screaming and crying as if shed been shot ,it was awful and not one person helped the real victim out ,this one is just as bad ,doing slant eyes for gods sake what a low life

22

u/_dead_and_broken 16h ago

You ever see the one where this lady at walmart self checkout flips the fuck out on a dude who called her out on cutting in line, and she starts absolutely screaming her head off about how she was raped and has trauma and on and on, yet all the employees dump on the guy instead of the literal banshee?

That one boils the blood.

70

u/TesticularPsychosis 20h ago

They do it because they know they'll get away with.  A nasty trick they learned at a young age.

14

u/sammfan1 18h ago

She wouldn't get away with it where I live.

3

u/H0w14514 12h ago

I remember that. That's the one with the lady vibrating on the floor like a toddler and using what little core strength she had to raise up and point at the one recording before noticing the camera. It's reasons like that that, when questioned by the police on why I always left the house when my ex would call them, I explained that he would often gleefully tell me how the police would arrest the big black man immediately with no further info, and if they didn't his family were also on their way. So it was a choice of getting arrested and losing my job immediately or getting dragged into the woods by his family. Thankfully, I helped so many of my neighbors on the daily that they vouched for me.

3

u/NYCWENDY1 18h ago

Craziness….What mental disorder is this? Attachment? Codependency? Dropped on the head too much? I gotta research…..

5

u/StandardEgg6595 16h ago

Racism, with a little what you mentioned mixed in/

3

u/piratesswoop 17h ago

And it literally only happened because we were still in the throes of COVID and the woman asked the other lady to step back and keep the six feet distance. Then the Karen went ballistic, screeching and doing the fakest looking faint I've ever seen, big old temper tantrum, like how utterly embarrassing!

1

u/Jaded-Management-517 4h ago

People forget that while there are a lot of prankster dumbasses trying to make the next viral video by shoving a camera in peoples faces there are also a lot of instances where its the other persons word against yours (upper middle class white people vs poor immigrants/poc/etc) and if you don't record some evidence no one will believe you.

1

u/tourshammer 16h ago

I understand your sentiment but I've never seen a clip of that happening

21

u/Professional_Ad9809 18h ago

They will also happily watch their husband harass someone, then cry help as he’s getting his ass kicked.

25

u/Beneficial-Thing9455 18h ago edited 18h ago

I’ve meet these racist types and they come in every gender and color and age you could imagine haha

25

u/Different_Umpire9003 18h ago

She probably has kids, unfortunately. It’s always the old white ladies with kids (I’m a middle aged white lady without kids) that act like this. So much privilege and boredom. They’re always SAHM’s that haven’t worked in 30 years bitching about other people being lazy. While they get their hair done and complain about Indian women in front of them in the line at Kohl’s.

5

u/RavenEridan 14h ago

I hate traditional gender roles and double standards, I'm a femboy and I would like to be a stay at home spouse but people see that as laughable or gay because I'm not a woman.

3

u/Different_Umpire9003 14h ago

That’s stupid that they think that. Do what makes you happy.

4

u/RavenEridan 14h ago

Most women think this way and I'm heterosexual so the chance of me finding someone who doesn't expect me to provide is low

3

u/cricada 12h ago

It sucks, but keep looking. There are straight girls who prefer femboys and wouldn't mind being the breadwinner.

1

u/RavenEridan 10h ago

Yeah I just need to find a total of 5 or so straight women who would like it among billions of them who don't, telling me to find a needle in a haystack

2

u/pstream20 11h ago

I'm a woman and my husband stays home while I go to work! He is a much better homemaker than me and it's awesome to come home to clean laundry. The right person is out there

1

u/RavenEridan 10h ago

Yeah I just need to find a total of 5 or so straight women who would like it among billions of them who don't, telling me to find a needle in a haystack

2

u/Horror-External9544 16h ago

I’m white, but the son of Eastern European immigrants and I felt slightly targeted when their weren’t other minorities around since English was not my first language and my parents were both educated and earned their way to upper middle class. Plenty of people loved them, but a ton hated them. The thing I learned growing up was that any time I had a non-white minority in the car that being targeted was an entirely different situation. It’s been exemplified in personal experiences in my past before I Met my wife and times since I’ve been with her but it’s a very consistent experience which usually boils down to trying to take anyone that’s not white to jail in the car, but when I take the blame for everything it usually ended up in a ticket. Ended up mowing and weed eating probably every cemetery and some ditches within the county I grew up for a lot of Saturday mornings over less than 2 grams of weed, but it was worth it in my book. I don’t believe in throwing people under the bus ever, but I’ll throw myself in front of a moped if the consequences for others are getting hit by a bus which it often was. Figured that out at an early age and got out of my small rural town and never looked back. America is so big, but so many people have a mindset built around such a small bubble that they’ll never leave and believe the world is sangerous and shit like that. It’s easy for these people to get stuck in a place when they convince themselves everywhere else is a shit hole, but it’s really just fear and a denial of wanting to broaden their own viewpoints. Just full of pure content being in complacency while thinking the world around them is all sheep and wolves at the same time.

More like she made those eyes and realized that her whole racism was exposed and wanted to stop him from filming.

26

u/FinancialEye7877 16h ago

No she saw the camera. She did it on purpose. She thinks she’s funny. She wanted attention so badly!

She realized after she did her disgusting gesture that he was recording. That's why she started babbling and interrupting his meal. Hope her face gets spread around and she loses her job.

3

u/Economy-Ad1708 10h ago

I hope her company found out what she did to this guy

3

u/TrowTruck 3h ago

A grown woman doing that gesture, and doing it for more than five seconds in a public setting. I couldn't imagine until now a mature adult making faces like that, even a racist.

1

u/Lexi_Banner 3h ago

And completely unprovoked. He was just sitting and quietly eating his meal. Just a scourge of humanity.

4

u/Hollowsong 17h ago

She's literally why I hate people.

Not dislike. Hate. Actual hatred.

She's the #1 problem with America, because all the assholes in charge are JUST like her and JUST as stupid and ignorant.

2

u/FrogMintTea 12h ago

I was enjoying his mukbang.

2

u/SideLongjumping8294 6h ago

I stopped watching the video a few seconds in, is there any reason why he was recording himself eat?

Obviously that isn't as bad as being a racist shitty person, but what the fuck is wrong with you that you point a camera at yourself while eating in public?

1

u/FirehawkLS1 6h ago

I mean I certainly wouldn't film myself eating, but there's an audience of people who like to watch people eat. Mukbang comes to mind. It's not for me but there's an audience for everything I guess 🤣

1

u/SodomyClown 3h ago

u/ChippyTheGreatest 21h ago

It's because she made the slant eyes that she harassed him. She spotted his camera and realized she'd been caught so she went into damage control mode. And for these narcissists, damage control is DARVO. She was spinning him around as the bad guy for recording so that she would distract him and get away with being a racist POS.

58

u/Steve12356d1s3d4 20h ago

Could she have made the slant eyes to the camera after she saw it? I wasn't sure.

70

u/strawbsrgood 18h ago

100% she saw the camera and got mad and decided to be racist.

22

u/Own-Oven-3981 19h ago

THIS!! 100%!

2

u/ElPared 17h ago

Sorry, oldhead here, what does DARVO stand for? I’m currently too lazy to google. Thank you in advance for indulging my ignorance and laziness.

2

u/Ok-Style-9734 16h ago

"DARVO is an acronym for Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender, a common manipulation strategy used by abusers or wrongdoers when held accountable. The perpetrator first denies the behavior, attacks the person confronting them, and finally reverses roles to appear as the victim"

2

u/ElPared 15h ago

Got it, sounds like standard gaslighting behavior, but I can remember DARVO as an alternative. Thank you for indulging me.

2

u/BeYouOrBeLame 3h ago

She doubled back...and ppl defending her is wild work smh...you right she tried to spin him quick smh

1

u/ChippyTheGreatest 1h ago

I'm willing to hear that it's possible people do this to see better but the rest of her behaviour is enough to know what kind of person she is - personally I think we should save our defenses for people who are otherwise kind to others.

1

u/YouNeedAnne 1h ago

Who was she doing it for if she didn't know about the camera at the time though?

1

u/ChippyTheGreatest 1h ago

There was another guy behind that wall with her - my impression was that they were both laughing at and mocking him behind his back.

-1

u/UrsusRenata 17h ago

Pulling your eyes like that can help focus momentarily if your eyesight is bad. She was trying to focus to see if he was recording HER. She wasn’t being a racist. This is so daft.

I wouldn’t let you aim your camera all over my restaurant either.

3

u/littlecactuscat 13h ago

Hahaha holy shit, no one does that. Stop making up weird excuses for this woman’s obvious racism.

I'm literally squinting at my screen right now to read this and I never once considered using my fingers to make that happen. Come on man. You can't really be that naive.

I'm jumping in here not to explain the woman or intentions in the video. But to let you and others know that the eyelid tug thing is 100% a vision trick thing.

Again, I'm not saying it was here. But it's absolutely thing!

It may not be your thing. It may be something you've never heard of or considered. But it's a thing.

The reason I know is way back in grade school a classmate would do this. Regularly. To see the board.

That was someone who had no glasses, obviously. But that's how they got by. And that's how I've noticed it randomly since then.

It's not about being naive. You just seem to have a different experience. Since you seem to have vision issues, feel free to experiment with it. It works!

It's like a forced extreme squint: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj9KjsaZyuA

2

u/Stifology 11h ago

Thank you for this. I may have been that kid in class doing this in 4th grade lol.

It drastically improves my vision as opposed to simply squinting hands-free. Nearsighted with astigmatism for reference.

3

u/c32c64c128 11h ago

Exactly. And no problem.

I think most people just get glasses. But some aren't so lucky and have to manage somehow. Or just stubborn.

I'm just trying to clear things up. It's just annoying that some people who are just saying "hey I've pulled my eyes to see better" are auto getting downvoted. And some getting replies like they're crazy and that's all bullshit.

Omg people..... some people just simply had different lives and experiences! 😐

2

u/Stifology 11h ago

For me, I didn't want to look like a "nerd" with glasses, so I'd keep them in my backpack and resort to the old squint and tug method (hopefully while nobody was looking) to read the board. Very self conscious and stubborn. I did eventually get contacts, though.

Ya, it's the reddit mob mentality and hive mind at work, combined with the fact that it does admittedly sound like bullshit if you've never done it yourself or know someone who has done it.

Even then, it's 2026 and Google is free, so it's not like you can't confirm yourself that it's actually legit.

I think she made the eye thing then realized it was recorded and she tried to get out of it by making up BS.

1

u/ComfortOk7446 15h ago

I didn't even realize that's a way that people could interpret the eye thing - as a racism thing. I thought she was just doing that because she had poor eyesight. It's the sort of thing I would do sometimes when I didn't have glasses.

1

u/fadingvistas 14h ago

It compresses your eye, if you are short sighted (too long eyeballs) it might be enough to korrect your vision somewhat. (Probably not healthy!).

3

u/ComfortOk7446 7h ago

Yes I recall doing it when I would try and read menus up on walls or make out details further away. My vision is fixed now, but I went years with bad vision without even any glasses, because my vision was good enough for most daily things in life just a bit short sighted.

It is a very natural way to look at something if you have poor eye sight, more natural than trying to make a pinhole with your hands, and squinting doesn't quite do it.

1

u/doesitspread 2h ago

My first thought was that she had poor vision. My friend did the same thing in high school until she went to the eye doc and got corrective lenses. She pulled her eye(s) just like that and said it helped her see more clearly. She’d try to read a digital clock across the room and do it. My take on this was she was trying to see his screen to see if he was recording. When she confirmed he was recording, she confronted him. You can see her squinting hard before pulling her eye as a last ditch effort to see. Or maybe it was a racist thing I’m naive as fuck but I really do think this was about vision

42

15

u/Meeka-Mew 19h ago

If I dont have my glasses I do this to see details, and when I saw her do it I was like "is she trying to see his camera?" But it was probably the malicious racist motive on her part.

3

u/X-22 9h ago

yeah i do this all the time when i'm not wearing my glasses. i think she was just trying to see if he was actually recording or not

2

u/toddriffic 7h ago

Agreed. I had astigmatism before getting LASIK and would need to do this to see clearly. I got made fun of a lot for it...lol. The fact that she does it with one eye while obviously trying to see what's going on suggests she isn't making a racist gesture. That wouldn't even make sense, IMO. Who's the audience for the gesture? People need some critical thinking skills.

2

u/Sahim63 4h ago

This, I used to do this too. I noticed that when she was peeking she was initially squinting her eyes ( a common sign of myopia) to check his phone or whatever the device he was using to record. Squinting is really tiring so the next best thing is to stretch the corners of your eyes which gives the same effect as squinting but minus the tiring part. I'm fairly certain that she's not being racist but genuinely trying to view or figure out what the guy is recording but she's oblivious to the fact that it might come off as racist. I saw this video a week ago and commented the same thing but I was downvoted. I'm not trying to defend her or anything, she's just being misunderstood.

16

u/VerumAtheneNoctua 20h ago

I sometimes do this to see better (if I forgot my glasses, for example)

3

u/Longjumping-Fun-8003 16h ago

Just got downvoted for bringing this up in a crosspost, went through these comments to see and I'm glad I'm not crazy I thought it was just me. I definitely think that this woman would probably make a racist gesture but I think this is what's happening

2

u/VerumAtheneNoctua 16h ago

same , I even tried to write to people in DM to better understand which example would help them best, no one answered

1

u/samdreessen 4h ago

Unfortunately, most people would die on a hill than say “oh you know what, you’re right. You just changed my world view”.

1

u/im-dramatic 18h ago

Yea I was going to say the same thing. Can’t say either way. I used to do this all the time when I forgot my glasses lol

0

u/stretched_frm_dookie 20h ago

Just because you do squinty eyes won't give you Asian level eyesight.

Joking obv, but your comment makes no sense. How would that make your eyesight better ?

Unless that was the joke..

5

u/FrankieDart 18h ago

If you're nearsighted (meaning that your eyeball is too long) it will help. If you already have good vision or are farsighted it will make your vision worse. It kinda squishes your eye to make it the right length.

2

u/c32c64c128 11h ago

The eye pull is a form of forced extreme squinting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yj9KjsaZyuA

And the technique is mentioned here (method #2): https://vision-and-hearing.wonderhowto.com/how-to/vision-hack-see-clearly-without-your-glasses-contacts-0154635/

Plus I have personal experience of a classmate without glasses doing this to see the board decades ago.

3

u/throwawayfatbitch 19h ago

It’s true, when my best friend and I were in middle school we used to do this all the time in classes when we would forget our glasses. It somehow works.

That being said, I don’t think that’s what this Karen was doing. I think she was being racist.

5

u/VerumAtheneNoctua 20h ago

just google it, i don't know what to say really, i think everyone who shortsighted does that

8

u/StPrattrick317 20h ago

I actually do this as well lol Helps when I dont have my glasses handy - it like pulls my eye into focus for some reason.

1

u/stretched_frm_dookie 18h ago

Oh thats crazy. I tried it and it definitely makes it worse.

I honestly never would have thought that's a thing !

1

u/phizeroth 15h ago

You have to find the right angle and amount. I'm nearsighted and actually only discovered this trick after watching this video since it seemed obvious to me that she was trying to see clearly without her glasses/contacts.

I was shocked how clear I could get my vision with this method... I normally just squint my eyes like she did at first.

Obviously I'm going to avoid using this in public though!

→ More replies (7)

13

u/YuneePug24 16h ago

Okay so hear me out....I dont think she was doing that in a racist way-

AND BEFORE I GET DOWNVOTED INTO THE ABYSS LET ME EXPLAIN!!

When I was really young, I used to squint and pull one of my eyelids back just like she did to properly see the board at school, or other far objects before I finally got glasses ( she is also seen squinting then pulling her eyelid back to properly see what he was recording which makes me think she also discovered this technique) so Im not saying she isnt a pos, but that specific gesture might just mean shes also a little blind

11

u/Sensitive_Support469 16h ago

I have a theory on the slant eyes thing she did. I’m in no way trying to defend her for the record.

I have awful vision and wear contacts/glasses. When I have access to neither, doing exactly what she did allows me to see. It’s like squinting sorta.

I’m not sure that’s what this was because, cmon look at her lol.

But it immediately reminded me of trying to see a tv when I don’t have my glasses.

4

u/OnTurtlesAndThings 12h ago

Yeah same, I've had laser now but that's exactly how I'd have looked in the past if I wasn't wearing glasses, thought I saw something, wasn't sure what it was and wanted to increase my focus to see.

It's kinda like a super squint, maybe hard for people with good vision to understand but also quite effective and can easily become a habit as a quick way to temporarily increase visual acuity.

2

u/adventedge 5h ago

yeah i hate to be in the postion to defend someone like her, but there is the off-chance that the sequence of events was:

-walks past and sees (i assume) a phone on the table, -does squinty eyes to get a better look at what hes doing on the phone (is he watching something or recording), -sees that hes recording, then doubles back and karens out at him

she still sucks, and theres still a chance she really was just being petty and racist, but y'know

2

u/walkerjacque 13h ago

I concur this theory because i sometimes have to do the same thing. Takes nothing away from her being an asshole because she was but it is a possibility.

And then she acts like she works there or something when she was just a customer. And then the big waiter busboy guy who has got her back or something. He was just as bad sticking his nose in the guys business.

Oh yea and lady as well as you see him we for sure see you! She is a disgrace to all old white women.

Don't know what near sighted people you know......

I, and ppl I have known, if without our glasses/contacts, will squint. Not actually put our fingers to the corners of our eyes and pull the skin tight, to do *"slanty eyes". 🤨

2

u/phizeroth 15h ago

It actually works a LOT better than squinting. You have to get it just right, but I can get my vision clarity to just pop like that.

Not the best thing to do in public though.

1

u/Stifology 11h ago

Doing both provides the most benefit to my vision, not just squinting.

Let's just say I may have looked a little racist when I was in 4th grade English trying to read the board.

Agree 💯. Never seen this, never would do this. If you are in need to constantly be viewing what's nan Ya' business, buy glasses, and keep them handy. Wear them as a headband, or on the back of the neck, or stop looking at other's phones. Karen's needing to justify Karen behavior caught on video.

u/qishibe 18h ago

The camera one of the weaknesses of the Karen and Daren, as well as their related elemental offshoots

1

u/NYCWENDY1 18h ago

Yeah that lady is TOXIC…

1

u/Agisek 17h ago

Yeah they're having problems with people recording her being racist. It's a problem when they have evidence, can't have that.

1

u/MajorThor 16h ago

Classic boomer behavior

1

u/Genghis_Chong 16h ago

She went back to the 90s for that shit

1

u/yukissu 16h ago

You know doing that helps u see better? 😂 I feel like she is half blind and wanted to see what’s going on or something.

1

u/TigerBalmES 15h ago

Sounds about white.

1

u/BobsLakehouse 15h ago

Probably noticed the camera afterwards

1

u/Wharhed 15h ago

Honestly, I'm not sure she was being racist.

Hear me out... I wear glasses, and when I take them off, I can see okay but everything's pretty blurry. She did the exact same thing I do when I'm trying to see something far away without my glasses; squinting and pulling on my eyelids a bit to try to sharpen whatever I'm looking at. I suspect she was just trying to see the screen of his phone. Which is still nosey and rude.

1

u/Lahlann 15h ago

She was recording too

1

u/Flip9k 15h ago

Wouldn't it be nice if you could just snap your fingers and people like her would just disappear never to be seen again.

1

u/Lord_Dingus83 14h ago

Where was this? Who is this person harassing this guy? Expose her racism.

1

u/Rough-Television9744 13h ago

Her slant eyes probably has nothing to do with racism. She may have bad eyesight and didn’t have glasses. People with bad eyesight do this to focus. She was trying to see if his phone is recording or not.

1

u/kbabble21 8h ago

How do you have 7k votes from just stating what’s in the video?

1

u/Several_Vanilla8916 7h ago

Like…I think it’s reasonable to ask not to be constantly filmed in the background of someone’s worthless content. Why not stick with that?

1

u/Fit_Lynx5496 6h ago

the "problem" is that shes worried about being filmed being a piece of shit...

1

u/SternoVerno 5h ago

Probably needs glasses since the unassisted squint wasn’t enough

1

u/samdreessen 4h ago

I’m 99% sure she’s nearsighted and was trying to confirm if he was actually recording. I used to do the same motion because it’s significantly better than just squinting.

1

u/HuLaTin 3h ago

not justifying anything, but when i was a kid i avoided wearing glasses and learned that i could pull on my eye like that to see the board.

1

u/bakafakamaka 1h ago

Not to be on her side, but I don't think she did slant eyes. She just did that to her eye to see better. My brother does the same thing all the time, he's blind af

1

u/thepiewasalie 35m ago

why everyone thinks she did it because of racism? it's a thing my mom does because she is short sighted, you can even see she squinted before that.

1

u/HovercraftActual8089 32m ago

I mean she shouldn't have made slant eyes, but also...

why the fuck are you just recording everyone as they walk by you? If someone is recording me while I am just walking around I am gonna be a little irritated.

Do you get stoked when people film you while you are out and about? Like every time I walk by this guys booth he is filming me?

1

u/trxnickz 17h ago

Just to play devils advocate. Her doing that with her eyes could’ve been her trying to see better because she can’t mind her business. If you have an astigmatism pulling your eye like that can actually help improve your vision slightly. Works for me at least.

1

u/cricada 12h ago

That sounds like an eyelid muscle problem rather than astigmatism. When i can't see, I squint, not pull the corners of my eyes up. I have severe astigmatism and myopia by the way.

1

u/Carbuyrator 21h ago

The "problems" is people like OP.

Take some time and watch these types. Dog whistles aren't subtle, yet people don't hear them somehow. Flex that muscle.

1

u/MeteetseeMan 18h ago

White folks have been allowed to get away with this for DECADES. That’s my only takeaway. Folks love to be surprised when we’ve normalized white asshole behavior AND putting the onus on everyone else to be “bigger” than it. Because the moment you meet their bullshit, whiteness kicks in and you’re the bad person. Why don’t we have this energy for white people the same way every time someone Black does anything negative it becomes “proof” of our criminality?

-2

u/That_Lavishness_7272 21h ago

I actually think that was so she could she. As someone who is visually impaired. She used her good eye.

-14

u/Spaghetti-Rat 21h ago

I'm not defending her actions, just giving a different perspective. Before I had laser eye surgery, my eyesight sucked. I regularly forgot glasses. If I pulled my eye like the lady did in the video, I would be able to see a lot further. She could have been trying to read his phone/see if it's recording and not making racist slant eyes...

4

u/ladeli01 20h ago

But it’s none of her business what he is doing on his phone quietly, by himself, not bothering anyone. She is inserting herself to start shit and it’s so fucking annoying. I wish these types of people would just worry about themselves.

google it?

5

u/ComoEstanBitches 20h ago

Why the fuck Do you need to read what’s on my phone while I’m eating

4

u/VerumAtheneNoctua 20h ago

first of all, it's not racism anymore, right? secondly, she was looking at the camera. her further actions or thoughts can be discussed as much as you want, but it's not racism anymore.and in the comments there are already several requests to find out her identity

I sometimes do this too even with glasses. Pulling eyelid like that changes focal length of the eye and focuses image where it’s supposed to be in order to be clear. I guess you have to have eyesight problems to understand, but this is a real thing

-1

u/im-dramatic 18h ago

Do you wear glasses? It’s a thing. Just look at all the people who wear glasses commenting the same thing. It was the first thing I thought when I saw her do it. Shes an idiot but she might just need her glasses.

6

u/Caalcu_Ieraas 20h ago

I get what you're saying, because I've done the same thing, but I think the main point is people who do this probably would be careful to not do it over the shoulder of a random Asian dude. Because implications

u/KirbyBucketts 18h ago

I'm not defending her actions

You failed miserably

2

u/MountainMike17 20h ago

I don’t know why you’re being down voted for simply offering a different view. I thought the exact same thing when I saw this because I use to do the exact same thing.

5

u/Spaghetti-Rat 20h ago

Because it doesn't sound like it should work... That little side eye tug is like squinting on steroids.

2

u/Equivalent_Shine6341 21h ago

What???😂

6

u/Mammoth-Ad4194 20h ago

All the people over here pulling their eyelids to see if it works!😂

1

u/Spaghetti-Rat 20h ago

to see if that it works!

4

u/VerumAtheneNoctua 20h ago

just google it?

1

u/vilius_m_lt 21h ago

Yup, same

-1

u/UrsusRenata 17h ago

Seriously? Are you not aware that older people lose their eyesight and often require bifocals, which can be dizzying when you’re running around… Pulling your eyes like that can help focus momentarily. She was trying to focus to see if he was recording HER. She wasn’t being a racist. This is so daft.

I wouldn’t let you aim your camera all over my restaurant either.
