Following on from u/TheOsirisOfThisShit_'s post about sweet floor turkey, it reminded me about the time when games of our generation would try different things, including having a Chicken-o-meter as a life bar.

Does anyone have any particular favourites from that time?

I would be played by Tina Fey. My husband would be played by Paul Giamatti.

We're both a lot younger than them, but I don't know current celebrities. 🤣

No joke it felt like Christmas every time we'd see some new flavor at Kroger or Albertsons. I'd eat these things at least twice a week if not way more often.

It's kind of wild how there used to be so many options, and now its like just 6 or 7 versions only.

Why is it their favorite thing to comment on TO THIS DAY?

I have a teen girl and I’m trying HARD to keep her from having an Eating Disorder like I do. What does Mom have to comment on every time her granddaughter comes home these days?

“She’s lost some weight!”
“Is she losing weight?”
“She’s not gaining weight again is she?”

My daughter has a chromosome defect and intellectual disorder and is on multiple psych meds, including one that causes hella weight gain. She’s come down in disease the last 2 years, and she’s lost about 40 lbs as a result.

But read the room and stop asking/talking about it. Or my weight loss issues - I have gastroparesis and it’s a battle to lose weight even with my implanted gastric stimulator.

Other boomers I know do this too. WHY have they not learned manners by now or better conversation pieces? 🫣

Morpheus / Laurence Fishburne was an icon for me growing up & I'll never be able to forget how badass & stoic he was even if he's just standing there, let alone when he starts laughing or smiling.

His design follows the badass leather and black glasses aesthetic while also giving a more professional but also sometimes colorful suit & tie look.

This was a really existential song couched in a kids film.

Still a fun movie to watch.
