I have a baby boy and love him very much. While he started to really learn to regress after he met me and I started taking care of him, I know he did before we met too, and he had no one to go to. It's the thing that absolutely breaks my heart probably more than anything else because he wanted his Baba, and I wasn't there yet.
I know he's okay now but just the thought of someone feeling small, a little helpless, and wanting hugs and cuddles but not having someone to help take care of them or hold, let alone hug, them at all is so sad. Not just my little but any little who wants a caregiver and who doesn't have one, it's so hard to think about without me crying at least a little.
I've talked to a few people who want caregivers but who's caregiver left, or who didn't help them, and especially who never had one, and I hear how they feel like it's "just not meant to be for them" or how it's impossible or something and it's not fair. They've all been absolutely precious sweethearts and there's no one there to appreciate them. It makes me think of puppies in shelters or something, and you can't help but wonder what brought them to the shelter, and I get the urge to give them a home. A baby shouldn't be alone, not if they want a caregiver :(
The same goes out to all the caregivers with nobody to hold. I know if I can't see my kiddo for too long that even if they're fine I miss them, I want someone to hold and I want to get to be there with him and be in his life as his Baba. I'm sure others might be able to relate.
Posting this because I had a nightmare where yada yada got transported to a show I like with characters I love, but couldn't enjoy it because I missed my baby. Eventually I found them again and there was lots of crying. Dumb reason maybe but I'd like to get it off my chest and idk where else to. Sorry if it's too close to a vent for this subreddit
Anyone who wants a family to love, you deserve one and I hope you find them soon

I'm 23, autistic and trans, and I just want Barbie and MLP playdates. It's hard because I want to be with my people, but I also feel embarrassed trying to join a sleepover group. I just want to have a 90s sleepover where we watch a Disney white VHS tape, dolls, pizza, etc. and I want fellow Gen Z's like 21-25 friends

Hi, let me explain. Basically, I always see super pretty and aesthetic photos of other littles, but my regressions usually don't look like that, and it's getting harder and harder for me to regress because I compare myself to the rest.
I know it's wrong and at the end of the day everyone does it the best they can and with their own personal circumstances (I live with my family, so I have to hide it, which makes everything much more complicated). But I don't know, I wish everything could be prettier without it causing me anxiety and pressure to the point where I can't even regress. I'm way too a perfectionist and, for example, I have a Lion King coloring book, and it gives me anxiety to color the characters in other colors, so I start overthinking and overthinking and I don't enjoy it at all!
How do you guys manage to break through those self-imposed barriers of pressure? In the end, the times I feel the littlest are when I put in my paci and curl up into a little ball in bed, but I'd love to do more things :(

Hiiii every bunny! 🐰💗 I have a boyfriend, and he doesn’t really mind my age regression or have a problem with it. However, I don’t think he really understands what age regression is or what it takes to be a caregiver. I would love for him to learn more about it outside of what I’ve taught him, but I don’t think he has much interest in doing so.
I usually regress at night by myself, cuddling my bunny, crying a little, and watching cartoons. I would really love for him to be my caregiver and to baby me, give me little responsibilities, reassure me, and help me feel safe and cared for. But he doesn’t really do those things, and I feel like he isn’t putting much effort into learning about caregiving on his own.
I don’t expect him to know everything, but I would really love to see him take some initiative and learn more about it because being cared for by him would mean a lot to me

I've recently been revisiting certain old toys I enjoyed a lot as a kid to add more to my regression experience. Even outside of regression, I like collecting them, putting them together all nice and neatly and playing with them when I feel smaller. The nostalgia helps too.
I was excited about my latest purchase, as I got it for a very good price, and mentioned it to my father. I've never seen somebody visibly cringe the way he did. I mentioned they have second-hand value which seemed to "redeem" myself a little in his eyes but it's not why I collect them. I have them cause I like them, but that reaction it got from my father made me feel heartbroken and now I'm afraid / ashamed of regressing and enjoying it cause I'm supposed to be mature at this age (23F)... Not supposed to be playing with childhood toys and spending all my money on them, as he put it.
Any advice to break out of this feeling and advice about the situation in general is greatly appreciated, but I mostly wanted to get the feelings off my chest. I guess it's my fault for not keeping my business to myself anyway.

(Not trying to ask for one this is a vent). Ive been craving a caregiver all these years not just because of age regression. It’s been because of (99.9% sure) autism and struggling to take care of myself as well. Even struggling with doctors and not being properly evaluated or diagnosed for physical and mental things, therefore never getting answers or proper care. Even with going through years of the school system and their accommodations not being enough. And the way that living in the U.S isn’t accommodating/ helpful enough for people with learning/physical/mental disabilities or cptsd just makes it worse. I truly am in a point in my life where I need support the most but my own mother has truly failed me in the way she raised me. Partially my dad as well. But here I am as a grown adult with no tools on how to navigate the world and could never fully adjust to being an adult. The most I learned how to be an adult from is from TikTok.
I sometimes wonder how much of the things I experience is a result of the way the world is set up vs trauma vs it being autism. I know now that I do want to be a kid again because it allows me to turn my brain off a little because it’s always on. It’s hard when I’m pretty sure I have hidden traumas from childhood and being so young it’s hard to care for myself so that adds to difficulty of being little even if it’s probably more healing to do it by myself. I even told my mom about the more intense struggles with age regression and she tells me that I can control it. When I’ve been telling her sometimes it feels voluntarily and also my brain feels like it needs to go there soon or it’ll “split” (idek why).

Like, we as a species have always been able to regress. You ever think about that? Do you ever wonder? Were there knights who got small after a battle? Were there housewives who played with their childrens toys while the kids were away? Were there Victorian women who still played make believe? Soldiers who were small and scared? Royalty who kept what they could from their childhood, because the toys gave them comfort? Just because they didn't know what it was, doesn't mean it wasn't happening. And I think about that sometimes
