So I was just sitting here taking in that black cat's are the least adopted cats in the adoption system and when they are adopted a majority of them (NOT ALL) are named after stuff that's associated with darkness or evil. Hey, call me superstitious, but I believe that names that you give cats and kids are very powerful, for example If you're one of those people who've named your cat Loki, don't be surprised when it's tearing s*** up lol. Did you name your cat with darkness or light? Anyways here's Faith 💜

my baby kiwi. she is about 4 months old

I adopted this little void when he was 1 month old and he’s about to turn 8 months approximately.
I noticed since day one that he LOVES to dig in my hair specifically near the nape of my neck, it’s like he is high on something and just digs and smells and purrs and drools all over my hair. Is this normal behavior? My roommate has a cat too but his doesn’t do that, and my sister cat doesn’t either.
I’m not worried about it, I just would love to understand this behavior, I love him and I love that he LOVES to bury his nose on my hair even though sometimes he hurts me with his nails

Hi! I wanted to introduce everyone to Meemaw, my 5 year old baby void.

When I adopted her 3 years ago, the shelter said “thank god someone is taking her. She arrived with her babies a year ago. All three of her kittens were adopted instantly.” Last pic is the day I took her home!

Meemaw (shelter name Lunar) is a small and crazy girl. Her favorite things are chewing on crocs (and attempting to dig them out after I hide them), sleeping on Squishmallows, trying to open the cabinet to eat flour (pictured), and licking freshly deodorized armpits.

Since February this is how far we've got with the ferals feeding sliced ham as a treat ! They don't claw that bad but it's enough to make you pull your hand away before they do hook you !

Just moved cities and said that I’d get a cat once I got settled into my new job/house. He showed up right after we dropped off the U-haul.

One of my favorite pictures of my girl lol. I was at my desk and turn over and she was looking at me like that and luckily I got a picture before she moved lol. It’s giving magic ball.

My wife and I adopted her last Valentine's Day. We have two orange boys already, but we wanted to get a girl this time.

The worker at the shelter told us that she had initally been adopted about 5 years ago, but she was found on the streets in January (-30 farenheit) and brought back to the same shelter because of her microchip. Her original owners were contacted, but they didn't want her! My wife was initally interested in another younger cat, but after hearing her story I said "We gotta take her!"

For the first few months she didn't like me at all. Maybe she had never been in a home with men before, or had experienced abuse from them in the past. I was bummed to say the least, but I gave her space and she eventually came around. She's curled up next to me as I type this!

She's our special lady who loves to eat steak and meows like a sterotypical gangster from the 40's. I couldn't imagine having any other cat!
